I've stayed in this hotel three times. It is conveniently located in the Ginza area, a short walking distance from two main subway stations (Shimbashi and Ginza) that connect several subway lines. Many restaurants and bars are nearby, and traveling to other main areas is fast and easy. The breakfast buffet offered many Asian and Western options. Both smoking and non-smoking rooms (located in different floors) are available.

The hotel is a bit old with no major recent renovations. Do not expect a fancy room, buy just good enough. The main value of this hotel is its location.

I would highly recommend the Grand Hotel Ginza to anyone looking for an exceptional stay. This hotel is one of those rare finds that looks even better in person than in the photos. The location is fantastic, with easy access to both the metro and JR stations. The rooms are not only comfortable and well-appointed but also offer a serene and relaxing atmosphere after a day of exploring the city. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Although Ginza is famous for its high-end shops, you'll also find plenty of stores and restaurants that cater to every budget. The room size is quite satisfactory by Tokyo standards, making for an overall wonderful experience.

I had a great stay here! The location was ideal—really easy to access public transport, with plenty of restaurants, shopping and nightlife just a short walk away. The room is on the smaller side, however, it was clean, comfortable, and had all the facilities I needed. I would definitely recommend, especially for solo travellers or anyone looking for a convenient, well-located place to stay.

I love the location, cleanliness, free drinks at the lounge, friendly and helpful staff, and comfortable rooms! I appreciate the housekeeping staff for always cleaning our rooms, changing our pajamas and bed sheets, and replenishing whatever needs to be replenished in our rooms without having us to request for it.

None, we all enjoyed our stay!

The location is fantastic, next to Shimbashi station north exit and a block away from Hakuhinkan slot car racing! Mega Don Quiote around the corner, etc.! Siren noise at night was minimal, we asked for their most quiet room and this one was great. We will be back!

Hallways smelled of smoke but the room did not. Remember to use the provided room air filter. Also, to turn on the AC, touch the upper right button on the controller panel.

Very handy location to Ginza Corridor for food, Ginza main Street for shopping, Shimbashi station. Walkable from Tokyo station (without your luggage). Staff were lovely and always accommodating.

Room was small, so really only good for a solo traveler. Consider getting a larger room if a couple or twin share. Not really value for money if you need to be close to Ginza.

Reception and staff were very kind and helpfull. There was a lounge with free soft drinks. it is close to shimbashi subway station, convenience stores , some fast food restaurants , some tax free shops are very close to hotel.

i stayed in a smoking room, the bathroom was clean but old. Also the room was old, it needs some restoration, some painting maybe.

Location is really good, easy go to everywhere including of fish market, airport, many attractions. Supermarket and Donki just 5 mins by walk. Many shops and restaurants are nearby.

So dark in lift and room. That feels uncomfortable for us.

Great location, right in the heart of Ginza and a short walk to Tsukiji fish markets. Short walk to nearest train line as well. Plenty of local restaurants to choose from and family mart right under the building. Rooms were clean and tidy, amenities available at reception.

Expensive considering the size of the room. Not much space for a family of 4 with luggage.
