Hotel Adonis Tokyo is very nice. If you want to make more friends, why not considering this option. The location of the hotel is also quite convenient, as it is close to many tourist spots in Tokyo. What is more, the Bluetooth lock of the hostel is also interesting. Also, if you are the “targeted market” of this hotel, don’t miss the great opportunity to meet more people and friends~

Really friendly and easy going staff who can speak English. Location is near Gaienmae station which is a short (10 mins) walk away and there is a large Family Mart nearby where you can sit down to eat food. Starbucks and other restaurants are near Gaienmae station. Shower and the room was clean and you can store your large luggage next to the lockers. Whilst all customers are welcome, I think it is more suited to gay customers as the place has been planned to allow encounters. Unfortunately the other visitors I was staying with were all shy. This is also a budget accommodation so it's a good option to park your luggage and use as a place for sleeping.

Thai restaurant is down stairs so you may smell the food during the day but it wasn't overpowering or noticeable during the night. Bathroom is in the room so others can hear when you shower / wash. You may disturb others if you shower late in the evening (after midnight). The room was quite warm (which I didn't mind) but others may have found it hot.

I really appreciated the welcoming and inclusive atmosphere at the gay hostel, where everyone felt comfortable being themselves. The sense of community was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make sure guests had a great time.

While the overall atmosphere at the gay hostel was welcoming, I found the rooms to be a bit cramped and lacking in privacy. Additionally, the common areas could have been cleaner, which detracted from the overall experience.

Very friendly hostel, perfect location in Tokyo close to shops, metro, restaurants... Manager is always ready to help you and give good informations, staff is friendly and very professional, there is a good restaurant-bar at the basement. In that hostel you can feel the relaxing spirit of Tokyo, just sad to check out...

Nothing, its perfect, don't change anything

The Thai restaurant in the first floor is nice. with ¥1000 you can get a fulfilling meal. Also, the hotel is cleaned everyday (including the shared bathroom), so I feel comfortable.

I am no that bothered since this is a male-only accommodation, but some people may find this a bit not comfortable. There is no lock for the toilet, and also there are two showers in one shower room (no separator between them). For people that have concern about privacy, this should be considered.

Easy directions to the place , when I entered i was nicely greeted by the owner and he was very accommodating to let me have my luggage there , when I came to check in was greeted by one of the staff he check me in and showed me around the room , everything was absolutely clean and tidy , fresh blankets and towels on bed ready , the staff showed me to the locker and downloaded a app for easy access to enter the hotel , got to meet lots of nice guys from different country’s and room was really cool with the unique layout you can’t find anywhere else , a cool little side room attached to the dorm room to hang out chat and eat with a little gym . So cute . The shower and toliet was absolutely clean and tidy with 2 open showers that were provided with shampoo , conditioner , and body wash and also hair dryers , hot and cold water available and a fridge and freezer super clean . The restaurant downstairs is a Thai restaurant and I recommend every dish I hardly ate Japanese food cause it was hot and fresh and full of flavour I nearly ate there every meal , addictive and very good prices , this place was beyond my expectations as I give it a 10/10 it’s a short walk to the train station which is Ginza line perfect line to be next to . The staff and owner was the highlight of this accommodation as they are just super friendly and treat me like family , as it came to my last day it was very sad to go and I will definitely come here next time I come to Tokyo , everything was perfect !!!

Most travellers/occupants and even the staff are nice and friendly. A simple and comfortable place to rest after a whole day of exploring. Really liked the common space for people to gather and socialise.

Quite a distance from the nearest subway station (Gaiemmae). Would also appreciate if the gym equipment was well maintained. I personally didn’t mind the noise at night when others come back to the dorm late but hopefully this should serve as a disclaimer if this bothers you as a potential guest.

Property is in a good location to walk home from the Shibuya night club area. Hostel was quirky as pointed out by others but it worked for my short stay.

I would appreciate curtains (rather than mosquito net) on the bunks to separate myself from others during sleep. Use of a top and bottom sheet would also be appreciated as the air condition was very powerful.

Incredible value in a cosy, all-male atmosphere. The bunk bed was very comfortable, great pillow, fluffy and warm duvet. Place is spotlessly clean, the group shower is very nice, the multifunctional weight training machine is quite new and useful, and a shared table can be used for some work. Each bunk bed also has a great LED light with USB outlet.

No complaints. Upon entering the hostel, there is a bit of a smell from the restaurant in the ground floor but the air con does a perfect job keeping the smell out of the dormitory. The sinks are in the dormitory themselves, so if someone brushes teeth very late or early, you might get disturbed - hence bring ear plugs (which is anyhow a must have in a dormitory as you never know if one of the guys might snore) - I brought some and didn't hear any noise at all during the night.
