Excellent! The hotel is a straight walk out of exit 2a (stairs only, 2b has escalators) of Gaienmae station (Ginza Line). The reception is on the 9th floor (labeled LB in the elevator) and the rooms are from the 10 floor upwards. I didn't know there was a public bath but I couldn't use it during my stay anyway. It's small but serves it purpose! The rooms are very spacious for Japanese hotels and well organized. The toilet and bath were separate making the bathroom more spacious. I had an East facing room right over one of the stadium and it was excellent. I got to see the sunrise in the morning over the city with my cup of tea and even saw a bit of a college baseball game late in the morning. It seems the southwest(?) facing rooms could give you a view of Mt. Fuji! I got a shock passing by a room during cleaning! There are plenty of convenience stores on the way to the hotel and there seems to be a 7/11 in the narrow streets behind the hotel. If you like long walks, you could even take the main road down to Omotesando and further on to Shibuya station. Water was provided in the room but you have to get amenities from the lobby. The receptionists were very kind and welcoming. I would be happy to stay in the hotel again and even recommend it to others.

Location is great and very quiet for being so close to Harajuku, Shibuya and Shinjuku. Very clean and calm neighbourhood, but not too quiet as there are a lot of stadiums nearby. Can see baseball games from the hotel lobby, which was a very fun experience. Clean hotel, nice staff and great facilities. Coin laundry and vending machines within the hotel, including a combini on the ground floor.

Not really unhappy with the price paid for the room but not a bargain either. You get what you pay for. Rooms are tiny, but that is par for the course in Tokyo. Still, for a hotel that is so close to the shopping districts of Tokyo, having a room that barely fits 2 large suitcases was a challenge.

Spacious room by Japanese standards. Clean facilities. The location is very quiet. Nice view of the baseball stadium. Courteous staff.

The pillows were not comfortable. While the location is nice because it's quiet, it's a bit out of the way so if you want quick access to lots of restaurants, shops, etc., you'll need to walk, take a taxi and/or use public transportation.

Polished hotel with far more space in the room than I expected. Everything was pleasant during my stay and I loved having the space to open my luggage and still have space to walk around. 500ml bottled water provided every day was also much appreciated. The separated bathroom and toilet were also pretty big and I really cannot praise more that the hotel provides tray organisers on the bathroom shelf. It made me feel at home that I didn't have to haphazardly place things on the counter. The hot tub/jacuzzi in the public bath was also a pleasant surprise, and I liked that this hotel provides keycards for the public bath instead of making people remember passcodes. As someone who starts the day late, I'm also appreciative of being able to have the room cleaned all the way up to 3pm. Staff were always courteous and helpful and made it feel like a 5-star experience staying here. I liked the location as well, it's not too far from Gaienmae Station and my favourite Doutor Coffee. I would definitely like to stay here again.

I am not sure the heater was working, I didn't feel any warmth from the A/C and ended up changing it to fan mode instead. I am sure if I brought it up they would have let me change rooms, but I was too lazy to shift my luggage. Thankfully the weather was not too cold outside so I could tolerate without heating. I personally would have preferred being able to put all my belongings including clothes into a locker, rather than open baskets (there's smaller lockers that fit only small items).

I liked it a lot it was the best hotel I stayed in Japan. It is in a really quiet area which is great because Japan is so busy. So it was nice to be a little bit away from crowds. But the nearby tube station a short walk down the road is well connected. I was able to easily explore Harajuku, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro from here and it wasn’t too long to go to Haneda and asasuka either. The hotel has a public Japanese bath which was really nice. I went late at night and two others were in there but it was very quiet. They have a good smoking room and 24 hours reception with English speaking staff and a convenience store downstairs. Erika on reception was always smiling and helpful, I thought she was lovely!

- Location: Quite calm and nice neighborhood. Location was especially great for exploring Harajuku and Shibuya areas on foot or with metro. Easy to get to central Tokyo as well with metro. The metro station is within approx. 10min walk. The olympic stadium and baseball stadium are right next to the hotel so if you are gonna watch a game, this is probably the best stay for that. You could see baseball players practicing on the pitch from the hotel lobby. - Staff: all the staff members were very polite and it was easy to communicate with them in english. For eg. booking the luggage forwarding service was easy with such helpful staff. - Room cleaning was good, adequate enough. - Water bottles were provided for the room - there's a small market downstairs, good for getting small snacks and drinks

- there is a bit of a nasty smell coming from the wash basin, but it wasn't bad enough to bother me too much. - small rooms, hard to open bigger suit cases, but apparently that is quite normal in Tokyo, especially for this price. - breakfast was just "okay", nothing special, maybe a bit overpriced. I'm glad we didn't book the room with breakfast and paid for it separately on the days we needed it.

Nice spacious rooms compared to what we had expected and seen of other Tokyo hotels. It was the same m2 as our Osaka hotel but we had more room in the bedroom due to the shower/bath combo. Comfortable bed. We had a 15th floor stadium view room (I had requested this when booking and was very pleased to see they honoured our request) so we could watch a few games that were being played during our time there. Staff very friendly. They let us keep our bags there until check in time when we arrived early in the morning as we were travelling to Yokohama for a baseball game that day. They also let us leave our bags there on check out for a few hours as our flight was late at night so we could do more exploring on our last day. Family mart downstairs and stadium cafe with lovely staff and coffee. Around the corner from gaiemmae Stn on the Ginza line so very easy to get around. Walking distance to Harajuku area. In the Tokyo 2020 olympics complex which was very interesting to walk around and look at

Area can be quite busy during baseball/football games. Not a lot of shops/cafes/restaurants nearby and Buffet breakfast 25,000yen pp. Room cards said housekeeping would start knocking on doors from 10am but in our experience they came every day before 9am which was when we were busy getting ready for the day and was a bit annoying. I did ask them to come back later and they obliged.

Good quality and great variety of food at breakfast. Comfortable bed, great onsen. Staff have a great service manner, especially Kang.

The scrambled eggs were very runny, even one minute more cooking they would still be quite soft. The next day they served omelette roll-fantastic, fully cooked. For tourists if not coming for the sports center (baseball stadium across the road), it is a little far to the nearest station when walking. If you want to go to Ginza, Shibuya, or Shinjuku you will have to change lines once or twice. The nearest restaurants besides convenience stores are almost 1 km away.

We were on Level 15 and had a great view of the baseball field - would’ve been amazing if there was a game, but unfortunately, it was off-season. At night, we had a great city skyline view with the SkyTree. The room was clean and of a decent size. Staff was super friendly. There is also a public bath onsite (which we did not use though).

Location-wise, there isn’t much in the area as it is the sporting precinct (old Olympic sites). There’s a FamilyMart right downstairs (super handy). It is a 9 minute walk to the closet metro and a 20 mins walk to Shinjuku (if you are up for the walk). It also means though it was nice and quiet at night.

We had a very nice welcome, the hotel gave us 2 face masks at check in, a nice first touch. The room had a big window facing the baseball stadium - you could even watch the matches direclty from your room :). The hotel provided us with pajamas, slippers, face cream, lotion, all amenities. We did not get to try the onsen, though, maybe next time. The surroundings were quiet and green but still close to the metro station (5 mins) and restaurants.

the size of the room is quite small, but I think this is standard in Japan. As a tip, it's better to book double beds instead of a queen bed, I think the room is slighlty larger.
