I travelled with my husband and our 2 kids between ages 6 and 9 years old. We got the family suite. There were 3 large beds and one sofa bed, which made plenty of sleeping space. I loved how the location was so close to a train station. It was in a quiet neighbourhood, which was fantastic, especially after spending the day at the city areas and walking around crowded places. The neighbourhood felt safe. There were good eateries and convenience stores within walking distance, which was great. The apartment was well stocked, just like a home. We didn't need to buy anything to use at the apartment, not even detergent, dishwashing soap, or even top-up on bath soap. Doing laundry and preparing small meals in the apartment was easy and enjoyable. More than enough mugs, plates, bowls, cutleries, cookware, and cooking appliances. The beds were super comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and clean linen provided. It's perfect for families. Also, there was a good supply of towels, toiletries, and trash bags. They even provided separate compartments to help sort the rubbish (i.e., separation of recyclable and non-recycable trash). I initially thought it would be a problem not meeting the owner face to face, but communication was easy - they were very quick to respond to emails. The owner was very accommodating, kind, and very helpful in providing instructions on how the apartment works (i.e., info on remote control, induction stove, washing machine, etc). The apartment did not feel claustrophobic, which was a surprise. It is actually more spacious in person compared to the photos. The layout of the apartment was good, too.

I don't have anything that I didn't like. The stay was perfect.

Duplex was very clean, cozy and well equipped. We had everything we needed for our 5 night stay. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay in a safe and peaceful residential area. Beddings were comfortable everyone slept well. Family mart and 7-11 close by. Kinokuniya supermarket at Nishi-Ogikubo station too. Cafes, bakeries and restaurants within walking distance.

Padlock to apt was not the easiest to use. We also struggled to enter main door after midnight when our flight was delayed on our 1st check-in night. We were not able to receive any staff assistance on arrival.

Clean, good area, comfortable. It had everything I needed for a good stay, and was in a nice building.

There was no elevator, and the stairwell is quite narrow, so it was a struggle to get all my luggage up to the top floor by myself.

This apartment was excellent in every way, the location is great and 5 minutes walk from the train station which is on a main line, so easy to access all of Tokyo. The area itself is also really nice, not too busy but loads of shops and restaurants so eating out and getting bits for the stay is easy. It was really spacious and well maintained with all the facilities and amenities you could need for a stay. The building itself is actually really nice architecturally from my point of view, which although isn't really important, I did appreciate. Would definitely stay again and recommend

great central location. very inexpensive. you can't be too picky because the cost is very cheap compared to others in the same location. if you spend little time in the hotel other than to sleep and shower, it's quite adequate.

as many have mentioned the steep narrow staircase is inconvenient. there's no elevator in the building. the beds were uncomfortable. stingy with pillows. if you decide to stay here, I advise you to buy some extra pillows at the nearby convenience stores. buy an air mattress too to put on top of the bed. the hotel is inexpensive enough that even if you discard whatever you buy it's still an amazing bargain. the hotel staff is very responsive via chat. I would definitely stay here again.

The location was great for the train. The unit we had was small but compact with everything needed down to an iron. I was very impressed when one night there were people upstairs making lots of noise so I contacted Laffitte and within minutes the loudness stopped. Thank you!

The only two things I can think of is that the stairs are quite steep when hauling your luggage up and the extra bed my son used was quite hard.

The flat is in a nice area of Nishiogikubo. It is not large but clean, well organised and comfortable. It is part of a studio flat that is neatly furnished and things are reasonably arranged. It's nice that you can check in at any time.

No staff to care for us. During our stay, the fire alarm went off due to a guest error. I immediately called the facility's telephone number, but no one answered. Many of the guests spoke little or no Japanese, so they panicked. In the end, I got a message from staff later, but only after everything was over. This time it was a minor problem, but in the event of a real emergency, guests could be in danger, in my opinion (Japan is a very disaster-prone country!).

The room was fit 3 people perfectly, it had everything we needed and very comfortable. The staff responded to our requests quickly. The location was near to the train station and had supermarket, restaurants, convenient stores.

Need to be aware that the apartment does not have the lift so you need to carry your luggage up to the room.

We loved this location. Clean and comfortable. We appreciated the detailed communication before the stay and the detailed instruction booklet inside the property to explain the various appliances that we were not familiar with (water heater, fan in the shower/tub area). The trash sorting procedures and schedule were a little challenging to follow. It might have been easier to stay at a hotel but it was a good opportunity to experience a home-like lodging. Location is wonderful - such a pleasant & stylish neighborhood away from busy downtown Tokyo.

The staff was exceptional. The area was close to the train station and grocery store. The area was very safe. The train ride to Shinjuku was about 15 to 20 mins away. Not complicated at all. To get to the airport we took the train to Shinjuku then transfered to the Narita Train express, so much easier then the bus. Overall the stay was more then pleasant 😌. Rooms were bigger then the ones we stayed at in Tokyo before.

I wish the beds were more comfortable the foldup one as well. The chairs should be changed to plastic instead of fabric to make it more cleaner.
