Everything from front reception staff, cleaners, restaurant staff, generous healthy breakfast and and facilities are all high quality. We have recommended Route Inn Asagaya to many friends and will always stay here whenever we visit Japan.

The only suggestion is the bed covers were too heavy for the summer weather. A lighter doona (Kake -Futon) would be better for summer climate. It would be satisfying to sleep with AC air controlled on low rather than high if the doona cover was lighter.

I usually don't sleep well at hotels, but I did in this one! The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, no strange smells, and no distractions. The location couldn't have been better. Everything wasn't overly fancy nor too cheap, it was just right. Same with breakfast. Great value.

The staff recommended I opt for compromised room services to get a free drink ticket, but I'm glad I didn't. I also didn't feel well-oriented when I checked in, although I was able to figure things out eventually. I didn't get a reply to a question I sent through the app before I arrived.

Located close to one of the main metro lines connecting to the central city, and a short walk to one of the main JR lines. Many restaurants and other amenities nearby. Hotel was clean and well maintained, though obviously a bit dated.

The room key fob was far longer than it needed to be - perhaps 15cm long! Very inconvenient for carrying around. Would prefer a modern key card system instead. Breakfast buffet was very mixed quality - the selection on the Saturday was better than Friday or Sunday. Pillow was not good.

The staff were great. The rooms are a little old but there are clean. The breakfast was nice. I wish there had been more 'heathy' foods such as more fruit etc. but it was nice. I had work a train ride away but the prices around Shinjuku are a joke they are so high. This is a nice place to consider, just a quick train ride away. Much quieter and cheaper. Can honestly say I enjoyed my stay.

Rooms a little old but not that bad.

The breakfast served was healthy and delicious. All the staff were super friendly, courteous and helpful. The bathroom facilities were awesome and the vending machines and laundry area was great.

The mini room refrigerator did not keep cool enough.

It was comfortable, clean, and the breakfast was great as well! The location is excellent as it's close to a subway station that connects to others. And it has a convenience store right besides the lobby which is amazing. I would totally stay here again.

Great breakfast with lots of choices. Close to nice restaurants and to Ogibuko, which was my main destination. Easy to reach with subway and 2 minute walk.

Main issue was noise from traffic in the road nearby. I had to get used to it. Not sure if other rooms were more quiet.

It is located to good transport to the centre of Tokyo, various shops and many places to dine. I enjoyed breakfast with various tasty cooks. As a long-stay traveller, I never got bored as they provided different dishes daily. It gave me an excellent start to the day.

The breakfast was wonderful everyday. I really enjoyed my room. The view of Mt. Fuji from the window was amazing.

I would like it if the beds were more comfortable, especially if they had more blankets on them.

Breakfast: First come first earn, after 7:30 continental breakfast is gone. Special, if some large group was before you or you are late. Soft drinks, like orange and apple juise, not from mashine, will not be fulfilled. Serve staff speak only japanese.
