The hotel had not got a restaurant, but the spotless kitchen facilities, with a hot drinks maker, a microwave and a lovely big table overlooking the garden, meant that we could buy food locally and enjoy it at the hotel. The design of the hotel and its well-trained and welcoming staff made for a very pleasant stay

The outlook was not attractive, with nearby road etc, but it was clear that the garden was being developed to screen the car park and adjacent traffic. In time, it will be very much more attractive to sit outside in a more mature garden.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. I truly felt welcomed and taken care of throughout my stay. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Although it's next to a road and a train line the room was very quiet. It was comfy with good climate control, and is very modern. It's a cozy room, but still spacious enough for 2 people plus a snowboard! Free coffee from a machine is available in the lobby, and they have a chiller with soft and alcoholic drinks available for purchase, as well as snacks like cup noodles. 30 mins drive from Hachi Kita Kogen which is the main reason we stayed here, they have a free parking lot too.

As a non-Japanese speaker, the Japanese member of staff checking me in pushed a form in front of me asking for all of my contact details, and circled a couple of checkboxes for me to sign. He didn't explain what those checkboxes were, and at least one was an authorization for them to share my contact details with third parties. This was disappointing. While they have drinks and snacks available for purchase they do not accept cash on premises which felt a little weird.

This was a good place to stop off for the night on our Japan road trip. You’re getting good value here. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the staff very helpful and kind. Takeda Castle ruins are nearby, which made for a pleasant morning walk.

I liked how it's a very clean hotel with an awesome shower and a very comfy bed. The free coffee, tea, and miso soup was also quite nice.

It would be nice if there was some kind of breakfast available on site, but at least there are many restaurants nearby.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Love the dining/pantry area with microwave, hot water dispenser and disposable plates and utensils for takeouts or konbini food.

Very hot water, good kitchen/lounge facilities, only a few stops from Toyooka and Kinosaki, across the street from a bus station and convenience store

Wish there were in-room microwaves lol, that's about it

Location is quite remote, but if you drive, no problem for this

The room is very clean and stylish as are the common areas. There is complimentary coffee and drinks which were a nice to have.

The lighting in the bathroom area was dark.

Just love the concept of this Fairfield by Marriott in Japan. Although there is no restaurants serving breakfast or dinner, there are many shops/restaurants nearby. The community centre and coin operated washing machine is very good concept.
