the hotel is sitting on one of most Beautiful beaches I have ever been. the sand is white and very clean with bath warm water!! The hotel itself is a cluster of beautifully designed thatched accommodation, restaurant and bar area. the front of the hotel is a garden area with monkeys, baboons and other’s(😊) bouncing from tree to tree, absolutely stunning to watch. the whole facility feels safe and very welcoming.

nothing , it’s a fabulous place

Really like the seaview bungalows. They have a very comfortable veranda and are close to the beach, the bar and the restaurant. Everything is super close and it is a small and cozy facility with great suntan beds and access to the beach.

The lack of internet in the rooms and outside. You really need to be in the bar or the restaurant to get decent internet. This is fine for a day, but we stayed 4 days and it was super annoying. You can’t plan anything. Also, bathroom/WC could be more spacious and newer, but this is not a big issue. The internet is!

1. I loved the proximity of our room to the sea. We could see the beach and the sea from our bed! 2. The room size was good and I liked the layout. 3. The staff were very attentive and friendly, any complaints were handled.

1. When we checked into our room, we noticed the toilet appeared to not have been cleaned. We requested it to be cleaned and they obliged. However, the lingering urine smell remained. 2. The breakfast was average at best. 3. The speed of the kitchen was quite slow at times, even for a latte.

What a beautiful weekend! I booked this place last minute for a weekend in Diani. I was a bit on the fence because of the reviews but let me tell you: everything is better than pictured. I loved every single moment of my stay here. From the fresh coconuts to the beautiful decorated rooms. Everything was spotless clean, beautiful decorated. The staff was extremely friendly, the food was great, and the beach (right in front) was just heavenly. I can’t wait to be back from a longer stay.

WAUW! Where do I start!? Everyone I met has a smile on their face, a joke in their back pocket and was patient enough to deal with my elementary Swahili. They even taught me more Swahili! I could see the sea from my bed, the water is HOT, the food selection is impeccable, the breakfast is delicious and diverse, there are lots of spots to lounge and little reasons to leave the property. The beach is expansive, and mostly empty. I also let the sounds of the sea lull me to sleep every night. Justin the manager runs a smooth operation. Elvis, Alex and Said also run a tight and friendly ship at the front desk. Loraine, Johnson and Shee served food and drinks with a friendly smile and professionalism. Alice gives the best massages in the whole country! Said the gardner has great hats and even better jokes! Trusela kept my space clean and inviting. The guards on property and at the gate kept the place secure and safe. They are diligent about who comes on the grounds. I read some of the other reviews and honestly I did not have any of those negative experiences. As a female solo traveler I felt extremely safe, the staff was my new family and made sure I was fine. The guards flagged down tuktuks for me at no extra cost and I paid the local price for travel. I CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!! ASANTE SANA SANA KABISA!!

That I had to leave

The hotel has a great location right at the beach. The grounds are well kept, rooms are nice (a bit basic but thats okay). Staff is very friendly and really helpful when planning activities.

Wifi didn't reach the room which was mildly inconvenient but not a big issue. Three of us had paid to have dinner included but 4 dinners were not taken (late arrival, early departure) and we were not allowed to shift one of those to a different person (3 other dinners were allowed to be switched to lunch though). Of course they are absolutely not required to allow that, but it would have been a nice gesture from management. Staff was very friendly and patient about it.

Only 20 rooms spread across the beach front and well kept grounds and gardens so felt comfortable. Clean beach area directly in front of the hotel but be prepared for the local sellers, though they do take notice if you don't want anything. Very good room size with everything you would need, including a private terrace. Daily cleaning was very good. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Even served dinner to the room when torrential rain flooded the restaurant, so couldn't ask for better service under the circumstances. Good variety at breakfast and good restaurant meals were well cooked, tasty, well presented and very reasonably priced. Well stocked bar. Lovely large pool situated at the back of the hotel in the garden area with sunbeds and shade. Beach front beds and shade were well spaced out so you didn't feel crowded. There are a few restaurants within easy walking distance if you want a change, though some of them close around 6:30 which was a little too early for us. Safe and quiet area. Would recommend.

A great place, the view of the ocean and the Beach is amazing, I could stare at it for hours. The staff is warm, friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. It's busy yet quiet. I'd like to thank the staff again for their recommandation of activities, we were not at all disapointed (tuk tuk contact, visit of the Kongo river at Sunset, Omar for the boat Wasini tour...) it all went perfectly well !

I was a bit disappointed not getting the room I booked, we changed the room the next day so I was able to enjoy for just one night instead of two.
