Familial and cosy heaven directly on the beach, the place to be for kitesurfer too ! Staff is so friendly they make you feel at home ! Amazing various breakfast and 2 restaurants where food was delicious ! Great location near everything by motorbike or TukTuk you can even Uber if you want it too, Flamboyant is only 1 hour drive from Mombasa airport and few minutes away from Ukunda (Diani) Airstrip connecting towards Nairobi ! I've spent a wonderful time on that beautiful hotel and will be back soon, definitely recommending the place to everyone who wants a get away on a paradisiac beach !

Wow! Honestly, from start to finish, our stay at Flamboyant was exceptional! We had a wonderful welcome from Angie, who organised staff to show us to our lovely room (which had a very comfortable mattress and ensuite with a wonderfully hot shower and fabulous toiletries from Cinnabar Green), and then we went to explore the grounds and location. The hotel is situated on part of the beach where you can walk safely and discover the natural beauty of endless white sand and ocean, and pop in to one of the numerous restaurants/cafes along the way should you need some refreshment. Breakfast was super-yummy with a massive choice of foods to suit every taste and need (we were particularly impressed with the selection of different milks available soya/almond/oat and the perfectly cooked and presented hot breakfast) and the ambience was gentle, allowing people to enjoy the surroundings of the restaurant area whilst enjoying the view of the gardens and ocean. Loved the family friendly atmosphere and lack of loud music - a great combination of fun, peace, quiet! The staff were friendly, attentive and had a high standard of service - the cleaning was impressive, and we always arrived back to our room to find an immaculately made-up bed and everything looking tidy and orgnasied. It added to the whole experience of being able to let go and unwind. Daily, Arty and Angie would greet us and genuinely want to ensure that our stay was the best it could be, and it was!!!. Any questions were answered and problems solved (my crown came out one morning, and Arty immediately helped organise a visit to a local dentist). Angie helped my husband give me one of my best birthdays ever, and between the two of them managed to organise a birthday cake, roses and a truly memorable visit to a local restaurant. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone at Flamboyant for making our much needed break to be relaxing, refreshing and restorative. We hope to be back next year.

There was nothing not to like!

The location is amazing! It is definitely a beach front hotel right at the beach with amazing beach beds for one to enjoy. The staff are super friendly from the administration including Angie to the restaurant and cleaning staff. One felt very welcomed. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed a great swim. The rooms were also really spacious with a huge showering space to our surprise as we had not seen photos online. It was very pleasant. The AC also kept the room cool which was very satisfying. They were also kind enough to give us a late checkout due to late travel plans. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Would highly recommend the place, you won't regret it.

The location is brilliant: the beach is just there when you step out, and the sea was visible from our room window. The deluxe room was very good, especially the big and comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and a good mosquito net around it. The swimming pool is very nice, and it was a good place to practice jumping head first into the water. The restaurant serves good food although it offers only a few options for a vegetarian. There is another restaurant just next door which has excellent vegetarian dishes, unfortunately only two options available. The staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely good value for money!

Warm water starts to come very slowly. Otherwise the shower's good.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Flamboyant Diani Beach, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Nestled right on the white sands of Diani, this boutique hotel offers the perfect blend of charm, comfort, and personalized service. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and at home. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality added a personal touch to our stay that you don't often find in larger resorts. The location is ideal—right on the beach, yet tucked away enough to feel private and serene. The beach itself is absolutely beautiful, with powdery white sand and turquoise water. It felt like our own slice of paradise. Meals were another highlight. The on-site restaurant serves a mix of local and international dishes, all fresh and delicious. We especially appreciated the seafood options, which were clearly sourced locally. Breakfast was generous, with tropical fruits, fresh juices, and hot dishes made to order. One of the best parts of our stay was the laid-back, almost family-like atmosphere. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying a cocktail at the bar, or chatting with other guests in the garden, everything felt easy and relaxed.

This place was all we needed and we loved our time there. We wish we could have stayed longer! The location is fantastic, the beach feels like a private beach, the swimming pool is super nice, right by the bar and very close to the beach. The staff goes above and beyond, they are nice, friendly and lovely people. They try to make your stay as pleasant as possible and we are very grateful for their top service. The food at the hotel was very good too! Breakfast has plenty of options. Our room was very clean and they kept it clean all the time. It’s a place where you truly can enjoy and relax. It’s not luxurious or modern, but they have kept it in good conditions and that shows. Right next to the hotel there is a restaurant called “Faulty’s” that was amazing! We loved it and enjoyed our lunch there. The service was also fantastic. Right next to the hotel you can also go for kitesurfing or surfing lessons. The well known Ali Barbour’s restaurant in the cave is also right there, short 3 minute walk. We would come back to The Flamboyant for sure and our friends too. Thank you so much!

Amazing place and very welcoming and profesional staff. This is a boutique hotel where managers are very involved with their clients and give huge attention to details. I had an issue with my phone on my first day and the lady at the reception took a lot of time to try to fix it - and she did, an iPhone hero ! They also gave me a charger during all my stay because mine was out of order. This is an example but very few hotels are so concerned as they are with their guests. The beach in front the hotel is also great and secured all time with staff so you can be fully confident with your personal items when goung to swim. The pool and gardens are beautiful and very well kept. Breakfast is perfect with some varios choices.

Just one thing to flag, the room I booked was very good value for money but I know upon booking, it did not have air con. And even if I usually don't like A/C even in tropical places, here in Diani it was really hard without it. It was so hot during the day, the room is quite small and so really difficult at night to sleep, despite the 3 fans it the room ! So this is to have in mind, if you book this room (B3).

Utterly spectacular accommodation with outstanding views and direct access to the beach with a super relaxed atmosphere. All staff were incredibly kind and attentive without being intrusive and Angie and Arty couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was exactly as we wanted. Tiny issue with our room (leaking air con unit) which was resolved literally within minutes! As this is further down the beach, it offered a quieter part of Diani and was a slice of unforgettable paradise - so much so I’m planning return trip and it will be for longer next time. Could happily stay there indefinitely. Thank you again to all the staff for making our trip/stay as memorable as anything I can recall. Outstanding in every respect.

Nothing!! It was perfect. Just watch out for the monkeys as they’re like lightening with how quickly they appear to steal your food - not something I disliked as I found they actually added to the charm.

Great place, which met our expectations. We had a two bedroom-apartment with a spacious hall. What's important when it's hot outside - the AC and refrigerator works very well. There is well-divided areas - first the terrace restaurant and bar, then the pool and the surrounding area, the private beach part, slightly separated from the public beach. And of course, attentive and responsive staff. I would definitely like to come back if I travel to Kenya and Diani again.

The restaurant menu could be more diverse, for example with seafood.

Staffs are very well trained and super friendly, and although it is an older property but well maintained. Clean the pool every morning, reasonably priced drinks and food are available. There are beach boys here too, but far fewer & nicer than in the other part of area. If you walk along the beach then go to the beach road within a 10~15 minute walk, you can find kinda mall (ATM, supermarket, various restaurants - Try The K Korean!, bars and souvenir shops). After sun goes down, instead of walking, take a tuk-tuk (KES100) to get back to the hotel. There are very few properties on Booking.com that have over 9-star rating with more than 1,000 reviews. If you go there you will know WHY! You'll probably need earplugs because of the monkeys..... LOL

You cannot pay all at once when checking out, pay each time you eat or drink. Multiple WIFI-ID-PW, you have to change them every time where you go. NO WIFI at the beach.
