Wow! Honestly, from start to finish, our stay at Flamboyant was exceptional! We had a wonderful welcome from Angie, who organised staff to show us to our lovely room (which had a very comfortable mattress and ensuite with a wonderfully hot shower and fabulous toiletries from Cinnabar Green), and then we went to explore the grounds and location. The hotel is situated on part of the beach where you can walk safely and discover the natural beauty of endless white sand and ocean, and pop in to one of the numerous restaurants/cafes along the way should you need some refreshment. Breakfast was super-yummy with a massive choice of foods to suit every taste and need (we were particularly impressed with the selection of different milks available soya/almond/oat and the perfectly cooked and presented hot breakfast) and the ambience was gentle, allowing people to enjoy the surroundings of the restaurant area whilst enjoying the view of the gardens and ocean. Loved the family friendly atmosphere and lack of loud music - a great combination of fun, peace, quiet! The staff were friendly, attentive and had a high standard of service - the cleaning was impressive, and we always arrived back to our room to find an immaculately made-up bed and everything looking tidy and orgnasied. It added to the whole experience of being able to let go and unwind. Daily, Arty and Angie would greet us and genuinely want to ensure that our stay was the best it could be, and it was!!!. Any questions were answered and problems solved (my crown came out one morning, and Arty immediately helped organise a visit to a local dentist). Angie helped my husband give me one of my best birthdays ever, and between the two of them managed to organise a birthday cake, roses and a truly memorable visit to a local restaurant. Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone at Flamboyant for making our much needed break to be relaxing, refreshing and restorative. We hope to be back next year.

There was nothing not to like!

The location is amazing! It is definitely a beach front hotel right at the beach with amazing beach beds for one to enjoy. The staff are super friendly from the administration including Angie to the restaurant and cleaning staff. One felt very welcomed. The pool was amazing and we enjoyed a great swim. The rooms were also really spacious with a huge showering space to our surprise as we had not seen photos online. It was very pleasant. The AC also kept the room cool which was very satisfying. They were also kind enough to give us a late checkout due to late travel plans. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back! Would highly recommend the place, you won't regret it.

Amazing place and very welcoming and profesional staff. This is a boutique hotel where managers are very involved with their clients and give huge attention to details. I had an issue with my phone on my first day and the lady at the reception took a lot of time to try to fix it - and she did, an iPhone hero ! They also gave me a charger during all my stay because mine was out of order. This is an example but very few hotels are so concerned as they are with their guests. The beach in front the hotel is also great and secured all time with staff so you can be fully confident with your personal items when goung to swim. The pool and gardens are beautiful and very well kept. Breakfast is perfect with some varios choices.

Just one thing to flag, the room I booked was very good value for money but I know upon booking, it did not have air con. And even if I usually don't like A/C even in tropical places, here in Diani it was really hard without it. It was so hot during the day, the room is quite small and so really difficult at night to sleep, despite the 3 fans it the room ! So this is to have in mind, if you book this room (B3).

Great place, which met our expectations. We had a two bedroom-apartment with a spacious hall. What's important when it's hot outside - the AC and refrigerator works very well. There is well-divided areas - first the terrace restaurant and bar, then the pool and the surrounding area, the private beach part, slightly separated from the public beach. And of course, attentive and responsive staff. I would definitely like to come back if I travel to Kenya and Diani again.

The restaurant menu could be more diverse, for example with seafood.

Staffs are very well trained and super friendly, and although it is an older property but well maintained. Clean the pool every morning, reasonably priced drinks and food are available. There are beach boys here too, but far fewer & nicer than in the other part of area. If you walk along the beach then go to the beach road within a 10~15 minute walk, you can find kinda mall (ATM, supermarket, various restaurants - Try The K Korean!, bars and souvenir shops). After sun goes down, instead of walking, take a tuk-tuk (KES100) to get back to the hotel. There are very few properties on Booking.com that have over 9-star rating with more than 1,000 reviews. If you go there you will know WHY! You'll probably need earplugs because of the monkeys..... LOL

You cannot pay all at once when checking out, pay each time you eat or drink. Multiple WIFI-ID-PW, you have to change them every time where you go. NO WIFI at the beach.

Great location near the restaurants and bars and shops in Diani Beach , but quite with an amazing beach, the hotel is embedded in a wonderful garden which really invites you to relax. The manager was very friendly, helpful and customer-oriented. The whole team was super friendly and competent. We have mostly had our meals at the hotel restaurant and were very satisfied

We had a twin room: unfortunately the beds were very spartan and narrow. But we still slept well most of the time. The restaurant is not very big and is sometimes overcrowded and also too close to the pool (if the pool is busy, it is not really pleasant)

Our stay here was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their kindness and attentiveness. They always checked in to see if we needed anything and were ready to help at any moment. It felt like being surrounded by friends rather than just hotel staff. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, with great air conditioning that made a huge difference in the heat. A really nice touch was the locally made hygiene products—shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and lotion—all crafted from natural ingredients in Kenya. They smelled amazing and kept my hair from drying out during the trip. One fun (and slightly mischievous) part of the experience was the monkeys. They sometimes wandered around in the mornings, and if you weren’t paying attention, they might try to steal your food! But they weren’t aggressive, and the staff was always nearby to gently shoo them away if needed. Every evening, the rooms were sprayed against mosquitoes, which was a great detail that made our stay even more comfortable. The food in both restaurants was delicious, with good portions and fair prices. But what really stood out was the atmosphere—this place has such a peaceful and friendly vibe. Plus, it was amazing to see how committed they are to sustainability. It’s not often you find a place right by the beach that is so well taken care of and environmentally conscious. A special shout-out to the general manager, who went above and beyond to make sure everyone was happy and comfortable. You could tell he truly cared, both about the guests and his staff, and that made all the difference. I highly, highly recommend this place! I already miss it and can’t wait to come back.

Oooh my goodness I don’t even know where to start. First of all I want to appreciate how Arty the General Manager is so kind and loving. He made sure we are comfortable and he is one of the few hosts I have met who have been to my own country Lesotho 🇱🇸 which that already was a bonus. Then we get to our room boom he had given us an upgrade of the best room. The surrounding was so calming, the stuff is so friendly, they make all guest feel important. ooh goodness the beach, the surroundings. They are always willing to help, organise activities for you. I think I can write a whole chapter about our experience there. We are definitely going to come back. We also observed that it is child friendly place so we might bring our children with. I recommend all travellers to go experience the love and warmth we experienced here 🙌🏽🥰🥰. The place is more than perfect

Appreciated the take-away breakfast. Sit-in breakfast was substantial and tasty. Menu offered a good selection and the food was good. Nice vibe in the dining and pool area. The beach area is well managed with sun loungers. Kite and wind surfing is available next door.

My room was located by the entrance driveway, so I heard all coming and goings of people and cars over a metal grate. The room had a metal roof which made the noise from the wandering monkeys quite loud; I think mine is the only room with a metal roof. The room itself was perfect with a mini fridge and freshwater.

We chose this accommodation as the end of our journey through Kenya. We wanted a bit of idleness and enjoyment, and we were able to experience that to the fullest extent here. They offered us the best accommodation so that we could enjoy together as a family in one place, even though we didn't book like that. The views are wonderful, the beach is well-kept and clean. The pool and surroundings are also pleasant and clean. The staff is unobtrusive, but attentive, and you can leave your things on the hotel sunbeds. There are no large complexes around, so it is quiet, but there is still a lot of culinary and shopping on the beach and also along the main road. Next to the beach is also surfing/kite/paddle rental and school. Great for the tide waves. It is possible to walk, travel on foot towards Galu beach or Congo river, and return by tuktuk. There are also tuktuks in front of the hotel or a little higher on the main road, and transportation is not a problem. They help with ideas and organization of trips at the hotel, but there are also beachboys who connect you with the tour provider. We have good experience. The breakfast is rich and you can choose from the menu, so that it is freshly prepared. The selection of dishes even during the day is rich, lots of fresh vegetables, fruits and really tasty. Every day they also have a dish of the day, which is even more affordable. This hotel was our favorite of the trip. Big thanks to the whole team.
