We recently stayed at Southern Palm Beach Resort in Diani for our honeymoon, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, and the entire stay exceeded our expectations. A special thank you to the manager, Mercie, who went out of her way to make our celebration extra special. Her thoughtful touches and genuine hospitality truly stood out. The staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional always ready with a smile and happy to help. The all-inclusive experience was exceptional, with a great variety of delicious food and drinks, and plenty of activities to enjoy. The resort itself is beautifully maintained, with stunning beach views and a relaxing atmosphere. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to start our new chapter. Highly recommended for couples, families, or anyone looking to unwind in paradise!

To change money usd 10 in small amounts, not possible (for tips) Some employees were rude Not everything was „all inclusive“ (such as water in the morning was charged)

All in all, we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The rooms are spacious, sophisticated and very clean. Due to the excellent wifi connection, working remotely was possible without any problems. A big compliment to the kitchen team, who without exception manage to create a generous, incredibly varied and lovingly arranged buffet. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Perhaps it would be a good idea to renovate the rooms in the spa. The spa therapists do a great job and are well trained. Only the location could do with some modernization.

The overall location is gorgeous. Ocean facing and stunning.

The wifi was an issue. Please improve it. Especially in the rooms the connections were poor. And the food buffet was yummy and had a huge range but mostly Indian flavors . It would be nice if you included Asian, Mediterranean and something besides just Pasta for Italian cuisine.

The guest entertainment after dinner ends (9.30pm) is really loud and most guests that I met resigned themselves to no sleep before 11.00pm. There was a function on the beach on the Saturday night and the volumn of the music was unbelievable throughout the resort. Ideally function areas should be well away from the rooms but the layout of the resort does not enable that. Provided there was no function booked - I would stay again

THE HOTEL WAS EXCELLENT The main restaurant was the best,big man from malinid (AISHA JUMA BROTHER)i was very helpful, and all the staff 😀 Specially our hostess EDNA was very resourceful and helping. The reception ladies were friendly, and they helped us. Security men top notch 👌 Pool man is very helpful. The music entertainment is very loud but entertaining ,though 🤔 The entertainment team, especially the MC lady, fulfiled my request to put SOMALI MUSIC 🎶 THAT LADY MAKE ENTERTAINMENT ANOTHER LEVEL. MY WIFE AND I WE HAD SPECIAL ROMANTIC DINNER ON THE BEACH AND MR JOSEPH FROM KAMPA LAND WAS HELPFUL. ALL I CAN SAY IS SOUTHERN PALM BEACH RESORT ⛱️ IS LOVELY 😍 AND MY NEXT TRIP i.a will spend sometime 😀 THANK YOU EVERRY ONE, THE CLEANING TEAM,the security,supervisors,all the staff 😀 Thank you for your hospitality. All was good

This was my first solo trip and I chose Kenya because I have Kenyan colleagues who are delightful. For the portion of my trip in Diani Beach I chose Southern Palms. The name alone as well as the online reviews and photos were very convincing. I had an upper level room with a pool and partial ocean view that were both amazing. Like a postcard. The food is great, but the hostess and restaurant team are even better. First of all I'd like to thank Defense (yes that's her name) the restaurant supervisor. You were beyond attentive. So warm and welcoming from the moment we met and throughout my stay there. Thank you for sharing the "magic" of the "bird sanctuary." That memory and your kindness will stay with me always. Daisy, the GRO, what an absolute sweetheart you are. Meeting you was like meeting family. Mahamoud, the GM, thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to accommodate me. You were prompt to assist and to ensure my stay was great. Some other mentions are Teresia -hostess, Joyce- server, and Sarah- receptionist, for commendable customer service. I hope to see you all again as I plan to return next year with my family. Until then, asante Sana.

No elevator

The hotel was beautiful and staff incredible and couldn’t do enough for the you. The view towards the beach is also amazing. However the rooms are dated and very noisy as you could hear your neighbours all around you so we had trouble sleeping and were then woken up early to banging doors and people chatting. Overall we had an enjoyable stay and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Definitely give it a day or 2 and then head onto another venue as it is a very traditional hotel.

Very hospitable and kind staff serving us breakfast, lunch and dinner. Amazing variety of fresh foods! The tea was phenomenal and the pool bar staff was so wonderful. Very lovely staff cleaning our rooms . Very organised resort Wonderful food. Teresia was so kind and looked after all of us. The head of security was excellent as well! A lovely chap named Sunday cleaned our room for half of the week and he was lovely and taught us some Swahili words!

That wasn’t exactly a formal business centre if one wanted to do work.

Stayed 1night and after check out stayed 1day more,check inn was smooth,location everything was perfect,food was delicious and had many varieties,room were spacious and big. From sports activities the staff were really amazing,had really good time.

I only had 1 issue,night staff who were serving drinks on table tennis side were not really caring they ignore you when you ask anything,but I won't say bad more as when Manager saw,he was very kind and helpful if manager was not there my stay wouldn't be great as I was very disappointed, What I want to say is big up to Manager who handled it properly and made my stay very amazing
