The resort is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The paragliding to the resort was the best addition to the experience. The rooms are huge and private pools are awesome.

The only negative to this resort is that absolutely everything is SO expensive. There is no reasonable alternative for meals or snacks. Activities are so expensive as well. If you book for $1000 a night, it will likely be another $1000 per day for food and maybe one cheap activity. If you plan to use the spa or do more activities, this will escalate quickly

I loved how attentive they were since we were traveling with young children. Upon arrival the children received custom bracelets with their names on them and upon entering the villa we were provided with an extra bed and crib as well as a small bathtub for my toddler. In the restaurants they have special kids buffets such that they can eat right away. The staff are also quite friendly with the children. The villa was spacious and clean. There were plenty of pools to swim in (fresh water and salt water) and the beach was well taken care of. The resort felt empty yet full in a good way.

The only con of this resort is the distance to get here. We flew in from Dubai international airport and had to drive about 2.5 hours to get to the resort. The last bit of the trip were on mountains which can be nauseating for some people but it was only about 15 minutes of this. But the hotel did provide transportation and it was quite comfortable.

The facilities are second to none. Everything you could possibly want is in your villa and you don’t need to leave. Staffing are very welcoming and helpful. Our Butler sehrish was exceptional and very attentive. Anything we needed she actioned so quickly and made our stay effortless. Loved the sustainability in the resort and the subtle touches of local products.

Not really keen on all the oil around the resort. Some of my flip flops were ruined and a bikini. I also didn’t like the constant powered paraglider zooming over the resort when I’m trying to relax. Six senses always portrays itself as a place of zen and mindfulness and having constant noise didn’t do it for me.

The mood, the set up, the villa.. the landscape and the design of the resort were so nice..

The fnb was outrageously expensive. The resort is high end and deserves to be highly priced but the food, the drinks, the dinners were so overpriced and the quality does not justify the price.

need more activities option i wanted to try paragliding but there is one guide and was sick and they start very late in a hot weather no way to fly at 12 pm the food was good but the price was expensive too and too healthy everything with very strong ginger taste these kind of resort they suppose to have tender room service i need to ask for evening cleaning and specially changing towels they need to have control with pet issue because some people they get scared from animals

We stayed at Six Senses Zighy Bay with my wife and our 2 year old son. From the moment we arrived, the entire experience was seamless, warm, and beyond our expectations. The private villa with a pool was incredibly spacious and beautifully designed, blending traditional Omani charm with modern luxury. It offered complete privacy, which is perfect for a family wanting to relax and recharge. Our son loved the open space and the safe, calm environment. The beach was pristine, and waking up to the sound of waves each morning was pure bliss. What really stood out was the attention to detail and the exceptional service. The staff were not only professional but genuinely caring. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home, always offering help with our toddler and making sure he was comfortable and entertained. Dining was another highlight. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, with healthy options and thoughtful touches for families with young children. Zighy Bay is a hidden paradise secluded yet accessible, luxurious yet deeply connected to nature. It’s a perfect escape whether you're looking for relaxation, quality family time, or both. We can't wait to return. It is truly a 10 star experience. I would like to thank the entire team and especially Mubarak.

The only downside was that one of the outdoor play area toys had some visible rust, with a sharp edge that could be a hazard for children. Despite that small concern, our overall stay was outstanding. We would happily return and recommend Zighy Bay to friends.

Breakfast was one of the best we've had anywhere with a wide variety of foods including lots of healthy options. In addition to an a la carte menu of freshly prepared dishes they have a wide range of homemade juices, smoothies, overnight oats, cheeses and honey, as well as fruits and freshly baked breads and pastries. We loved the villa, especially the outdoor shower.

Given the resort's emphasis on health and wellness we would have liked to be offered more complimentary yoga, meditation and fitness options. The price of some of these optional extras was prohibitive. The beach was badly affected by tar and it was impossible to walk on it without getting our feet covered in it. Luckily the resort has free Oil Slick wipes to help clean it off. We were assured this was only a temporary issue so maybe we just got unlucky.

What a fabulous trip. Incredible attention to detail, wonderful facilities, great accommodating staff. Truly a treat. More access to a golf buggy would have been helpful with three small kids at one of the further away villas. Also perhaps in the context of the significant expense not charging for water sports (kayaks etc) would be a nice touch. The food pricing was very expensive but excellent, so value was there but to have a slightly more paired back ‘experience’ menu would be a good idea.

Great setting, tranquil and relaxing, well organised and had a rustic charm. Beach amazing.

Average service in the restaurants, often had to remind staff to bring drinks ordered, uncomfortable seating in restaurants. Room had a musty smell and dirty windows.

The place is special, unique. From the very first contact after we made the booking till departure, everything was top rated. We specially liked how the resort is run through a sustainable program, and with special focus on zero waste. Food is delicious and prepared with a special care, lots of local products. The resort is designed to fit in the local environment, used all natural components, combining local wood and stone, no plastic.
