The breakfast was great. There were a lot of hot and cold options. The breakfast area was well stocked. The mattresses were in good condition. Overall the room was clean and well-appointed. We requested rooms close together: 2 rooms out of 3 were close together; the other was on another floor.

I was disappointed that there weren't any hangers in the room, only 3 hooks to hang my clothes on. There wasn't a stand to put my suitcase on. Also, the room smelled like smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. The lighting wasn't very good either - no ceiling lights.

It was above average. Choice/variety was good. Items were timely replenished. All equipment (toaster, juice machine, waffle maker) were working and clean. PLenty of paper supplies and cutlery was available as well as condiments (ketchup, butter, hot sauce, jams, sweetner, waffle toppings). Coffee was brewed and available fresh as well as hot water for tea.

1. Shower head is a little high so average height person can not redirect cold water when starting shower. It was for a short time but in cold weather it is inconvenient. 2. This is nitpicking but bagel and bread choices can have more variety e.g. Blue berry bagels, cinnamon raisin, wheat bread, etc. English muffins were great!

Hampton Inn. My go to for a cheap and consistent good quality hotel. Love the breakfast spreads, rooms are always spotless, semi modern, great amenities (pool, gym, laundry). 6 am breakfast is wonderful. Good location near Garden of the Gods. Don't go in expecting a 5-star resort and you'll learn that HI is the best mix for affordable hotels.

Only thing I consistently get annoyed at with are HI's pillows. No loft.

Great location next to the airport.

The rooms did not have a microwave for the price. The staff upfront told my grandchildren that we were being too loud in the pool area. But in our defense, the area had an echo which was unavoidable.

The location close to the airport, about 1/4 mile. The staff was friendly and helpful. I liked the breakfast bag as my flight was too early for the other offerings

I feel it’s overpriced compared to other Hamptons I’ve stayed at. Likely because it’s close to a national park.

The breakfast was great, staff anxious to help, very friendly.

The check in clerk should tell all customers who are staying more than one day about the housekeeping requirements which we did not know and had to get towels and coffee for the second day from the desk clerk. Our first day clerk seemed to be indifferent, no smile, appeared to wanted to be somewhere else.

We enjoyed the pool and the free breakfast! They had a great selection for everyone. Staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and comfy. The location to Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP was great, just a short drive away. It also was a short drive to restaurants and shopping downtown. There is a gas station next door which came in handy.

I wished that it was walking distance to downtown.

We are a fan of Hampton Inns. The room was clean, comfortable beds, very friendly and helpful staff, nice hot tub and close to Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. They even had laundry facilities which we took advantage of. Good breakfast selection.

Key didn’t work to one of the outside doors but I think they were getting that fixed.

the lack of points! changing the calculation of points when using other booking modes why offer your hotel on other websites to book if you are not going to all credits or points. I could of stayed elsewhere

The location was convenient to all parts of Montrose as well as recreational activities. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. overall, the hotel was very clean and welcoming.

Only one issue, I pre-paid my reservation but my card was charged for another night stay. I contacted the hotel and they will reverse the charge.
