Room was fine. No coffee or breakfast without a fee was a disappointment for the price & location. Staff friendly and helpful

No free coffee nor continental breakfast. Parking fee! Tacky and cheap choices.

Really lovely hotel - had decorations for Halloween too and I love that little extra effort! Rooms were spacious and the bed was massive and very comfy! There was air con, coffee facilities and a fridge. Bathroom was clean and again spacious. Shower was a good temperature and power was good. We were on top floor so was very quiet too. Location is excellent - only 15 min or so drive from Salem (obviously traffic slows you down) and it is behind a Target so we were able to buy some drinks etc for the room. Staff were friendly and there was a nice area for breakfast, watching TV and socialising. There was a really nice pool area and although it was shut for October it looks like a really lovely place to spend a day! Cleaners wouldn't clean room unless you were there 4 days; however there is a notice in bathroom saying if you need anything or bins cleaned etc you just have to ask! I would recommend staying here.

Breakfast wasn't included and was a tad expensive for what you receive, I think either included in price or slightly cheaper would make this hotel perfect!

It's a pretty clean hotel, although the first room we were given smelled strangely but a very helpful and polite receptionist changed the room for us and the other one was good. The mattress on a bed was too soft to my taste. One thing I want to tell you about is the location of the hotel. It's located on the backyard of a huge plaza, so when you exit the hotel you are looking at the back wall of Target and Staples. The good thing is that you are also looking at the back wall of Total Wine which was very convenient. The other side of the hotel faces an office plaza. Since we were staying at the hotel just at nights it did not bother us and the proximity of Total Wine was a pleasant surprise, we did not complain about the location at all. The breakfast is not included but again the plaza helped - there is a Panera Bread, you can either walk for 5 minutes, or drive for 1 minute there from the hotel, so breakfast was not an issue.

No restaurant or bar. You had to pay for parking- that is totally ridiculous

This was my second time staying here. The beds are comfortable and they do not hurt my back to sleep in which is a huge bonus. I find that this hotel is very conveniently located near the places I needed to go to during my stay and it is very easy to get to after a long day. The room was cozy and spacious.

There was a slightly musty smell when we first got into the room but that dissipated once we ran the air conditioner for a bit of time. A minor thing I also noticed was that the shower was a bit difficult to get going but once we figured out the trick, it was fine. The refrigerator wasn't super cold when we got to the room but it did keep some waters chilled.

The beds were really comfortable. We used the coffee tea bar set up in our room a lot and that was a comfort. We appreciated having a fridge for our leftovers and cold soda and water. Check in gal went out of her way to find me some decaffeinated tea for me on our first night late arrival. That was really nice of her and a real comfort after a long and late trip there.

The pool did not feel like it was heated. It was freezing. We tried to swim anyone, but only used it once when we had planned the hotel for being able to swim each day. That was disappointing. On that first tired night the fire alarm went off at 6 am forcing the entire hotel out of their warm beds and into the chilly morning air in their pajamas. A staff woman said it was just the toaster in the employee break room. We never received an apology or a free drink or anything to make up for that annoying inconvenience. I couldn't fall back asleep and was exhausted that whole first day. The rest of our 3 night stay was lovely, but that was definitely a bummer.

Confused breakfast ...we were told breakfast was 7 Dollars each person which was great but then we were told each item was individually priced e.g. omelette was about 14 dollars ...I like breakfast to be included in the price and would have paid more for the room if it had been,

The hotel decorated wonderfully for Halloween and it was so fun!! The staff was great and the room was nice. The bed was probably the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept in. Our room was spacious and felt like we had privacy. Great view of the pool area too (it was closed but still nice).

The shower provided soap/shampoo smelled kinda gross. No problems with the actual room. The price seemed really high at almost $650/night after fees.

The location is ideal! Needed to run to Target a couple of times and it was great that it was literally 30 seconds away. It’s also very accessible to 128 and only 10 minutes from my daughter’s college. I would stay again just for the location! Bed was comfortable, thermostat worked well (very important!), staff was friendly.

It looked a little dated. Red walls weren’t very calming and I didn’t care for the overall decor in the room. Parking also wasn’t very convenient to the front door.

I had a large suitcase and two other bags. The handicap door did not work and neither one of the staff left their seats to help open the door. Luckily there was a woman outside and she opened and held the door for me. The staff could have been more helpful instead of carrying on their own conversation.
