Good Stay. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sofitel Al Khobar The Corniche, and overall, it was a very good experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and professional, ensuring a smooth and pleasant check-in process. The room was spacious, elegantly designed, and exceptionally clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough throughout my stay.

The only area that fell a bit short of expectations was the view from the balcony, which was not as appealing as anticipated. I believe the hotel could enhance the guest experience further by improving and tidying up the area in front of the property, creating a more pleasant and scenic view for those using the balconies.

Reception was kind, the girl there is very supportive& also all staff members , response to any problem. I would go there just because of the kindness of the staff& support.

Rooms are old, some items require maintenence. The pool area needs areation& more cleaning as humidity is very high& your eyes are red even without getting into the pool. the restaurant: Cafe Chic I booked through booking& identified all companions, me& 2 children& paid half board as amount paid increased with adding my children.There at restaurant I was surprised when they told me, the food is only for you, not for your children& you have to choose one main platter, one drink, one salad& one dessert, I of course obliged& the management was supportive, but to avoid such problem, don't choose half board option at all.

The staff are amazing, especially the Saudi lady who checked me in & out. I forgot her name but she was excellent in every aspect and extremely professional. Also the Saudi guy who brought me the in-room dining, he was superb and professional.

First impressions matter, when I came with the taxi to check in, there were few cars blocking the entrance, no one from the hotel was organizing the entrance and no one was there to receive guests and their luggage which is common in 5 stars hotels. The breakfast is subpar for a 5 stat hotel. Room Service is slow, I asked for a dental ket and it took 3 calls and 30 mins to come

The sea view from the room window was superb although the glass covering the window was very dirty from outside. The hotel is two minutes' walk from the corniche and 10 minutes' walk from the food street called Ajdan. The restaurants at this food street are a little expensive but have excellent sitting areas just next to and overlooking the sea. There is an Indian restaurant by the name of Chandani here too. You can get an Uber to anywhere and the service is good. All facilities like swimming pool GYm etc are available. The settee recliner though small but was a good addition to the furniture. Washroom was larger than many hotels and it had both the Shower and the TUB. Which is rare. The shower area was a close cabinet.

The size of the room was not very good though appropriate. The entrance was very narrow and inconvenient. The Ward robe was located inside the room next to the bed that made it a little inconvenient. The Ward robe was small and could hang a few clothes only as the Iron stand was also pushed into it. The Coffee bar was also located next to the wardrobe and this made everything congested. The door of the bathroom had two panels surprisingly and it would not stand when opened and would strike you at the back while entering the washroom. Food at the hotel was expensive.

Everything was good, from the reception till we checked out, we met with Shimaa at the front disk, she was very nice and the check-in was very smooth. This short trip was because of our anniversary celebrations and I booked the honeymoon package and it was great and everything was organised as agreed, the room was having great full sea view and at the 7th floor it was fantastic view. It will be memorable for us ✨️ thanks Sofitel team.

The hotel staff is super helpful at the hotel and seafood evening is worth every penny of it. There is comfortable and generous parking. Breakfast area is well organised.

On the pictures and the maps the hotel gives impression to be on beach. Its actually located next to old military base, surrounded by barbed wire. The hotel doesnt have access to the beach or water. I wish they would be clearer about. Also, try to stay away from the room adjacent to elevator - they are exceptionally noisy.

During my stay at the property, what struck me the most was not only its cleanliness but also the excellent service provided by the staff. The establishment was impeccably maintained which made my stay exceedingly comfortable. However, what truly set this experience apart was the extremely helpful and friendly staff. Their dedication to providing outstanding service was evident in their every action. The Saudi staff, in particular, were remarkable with their warm hospitality and eagerness to assist - an attribute that significantly enhanced my stay.

Gym have all the machines you need ++ hotal is Clean location view food all good

Unfortunately the machine of gym no one clean them you can feel them sticky + staff in the reception dealing in rode way especially saud in my first day i came early and he explained no room available till 3 pm I accepted that and i asked him to call me once available as it might be available any time since i will go out he disagrees!!!! So weird simple request he won’t do!!!!

We booked a good sized double room with balcony and sea view. The balcony was also a good size and had table and chairs, with a nice view towards the causeway and Bahrain. The hotel is in a great location by the corniche with lots of good restaurants close by. The staff were excellent, particularly Remaz on reception and Haris in the concierge team. Bed was very comfortable and I had a great sleep. Excellent hotel and I look forward to using it again in the future.

The Melrose lounge within the hotel was charging a minimum of SAR 180 per person on Friday night. This was extremely expensive as my wife and I only wanted to enjoy the music and have a coffee. The lounge receptionist was a little arrogant, unlike the other staff within the hotel.

Booked 2 rooms with sea view (without balcony). The hotel also has rooms with balcony which can be a good option for anyone interested in fresh air and open seating. Rooms were of decent size and so were the twin beds. Breakfast is very good with plenty of options including healthy/diet food. Overall the staff was cooperative. Hotel is adjacent to the corniche which has kid play area (slides etc), green area, and track for long walk. The unobstructed view from hotel room and corniche was excellent especially during early morning and sunset. Many restaurants and cafes are at a short distance from the hotel... walking or car.

The only issue we faced was in checkin. We reached at 1:30 pm after a long travel by road and were told that the room isn't ready due to high occupancy. Agreed to wait as the checkin time was 3pm. Although the reception staff promised to contact us once the room was ready but none called and we kept on waiting. Thankfully I myself approached the reception after 5 pm when a confirmation of room was provided. Troubling time as I traveled with old age parents and small kids. Expected more than just a sorry....
