The hotel is in a fantastic location, right in the city centre. The reception staff are excellent, extremely efficient and very friendly. Because we need to sleep with an open window, we had to move rooms due to a problem with noise from the outside air conditioning units, and thankfully, that was arranged. Breakfast was very good with great choices to suit everyone. The staff at breakfast time were also amazing, as were the ladies who came to make up our room each day.

For us personally I would have liked tea/coffee making facilities in the room as the restaurant is only open for breakfast.

The hotel location was perfect. The room was spacious and comfortable. There was loads of room in the bathroom including somewhere for your own toiletries. Good wardrobe space and the safe worked. Breakfast was good. It is a traditional Spanish hotel rather than an international tourist venue so the range was limited but of good quality. The staff were pleasant and helpful. There was no laundry service which you would expect for 4* but we have found this elsewhere as a post-Covid cutback. Also no room service, tea/coffee facilities or dining options which would appear to be for similar reasons as the hotel restaurant is just used for breakfast service only now.

We booked a room at Hotel Campoamor in Oviedo as the first stop of our road trip in Asturias. The hotel is situated in the center, close to the opera house and the very nice park. We stayed in a room at the back of the hotel, it was very spacious, stylishly decorated and very clean. We could park the car in the adjacent car parking, and were given a 20% voucher on the day tariff. Staff at the reception are very friendly, e.g. to register your license plate with local government so that you drive to the garage through the pedestrian area. Breakfast is served with sufficient fresh products.

It is in a good location of the city with a city parking structure very close by (the hotel gave us a parking discount card). We only stayed one night and the room cost was 40% less than the nearby "chain/brand" hotel. The price alone made this choice worthwhile. The bathroom layout was unusual but the room was large and also had a separated seating area which could provide privacy if you need to work while you partner is sleeping. Breakfast was good and worth the value. We walked a short distance to the restaurant areas for dinner. We had a balcony to view the city.

The Campoamor is an elegant hotel right on the edge of the historic centre of Oviedo. The room was a good size with very comfortable beds and a nice view. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was excellent, with a good choice of fruit, cereals, pastries, cold meats etc. We were on the 5th floor so were very glad of the speedy lift.

The adjoining wall of the bathroom was (partially frosted) glass. I'm not sure that many partners/travelling companions want to be visible in the shower. Also, if you went to the bathroom in the night, putting the light on in there illuminated the whole bedroom!

Hotel Campoamor is very well located in Oviedo for sightseeing in the old town. Most sites are within easy walking distance. And there are many good restaurants in the vicinity. Garage parking is close by, although parking a larger car is more difficult as the spaces are tight. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a particularly large bathroom. Breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Finally, we felt the hotel was good value.

Although our bathroom was large, well lit, and with a good shower, it could have been better with small improvements. There was a bidet (unusual), but no bidet towels. There was no toilet brush. And we had 2 sinks, but their design meant it was impossible not to get water on the floor all the time.

Friendly and helpful staff - good recommendations for the local restaurants. The room was clean and quite spacious as expected from a 4-star hotel. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to travellers in Oviedo.

The haridryer was bit too old and not so efficitnet. Plus, it got overheated and automatically turend off after using for 5 minutes. I had to stop and wait for two or three times to completely dry my hair.

Superb location! Great breakfast included. Loved the fact that the room was twin aspect and had two balconies which was an absolute treat!

We booked an executive room which was generally very nice with separate sleeping and lounge areas BUT between the two was the shower room which had a completely clear door so absolutely no privacy whatsoever. especially as the toilet was in full view! To make it worse the clear view into the toilet was directly opposite the entrance door! Such a shame as opaque glass would have been so much better and certainly would have solved the issue! Also when I booked I asked if we could please have a room with a bath? We got a reply from the hotel to say that they could facilitate this. When I questioned this at reception they said that they didn’t have any rooms with a bath!

This is a slightly old-fashioned 4 star hotel with, for us, 3 star prices. Perfect situation in the middle of everything that you want to see in Oviedo.

The hotel was showing its age: bed covers old and worn, shower slightly blocked with water not coming out evenly. Staff not that friendly.

A privately owned hotel, and you could tell. The customer service was fabulous and all the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Hotel was located literally just around the corner from the Centro Historico of Oviedo.
