Quick & easy check in Tidy Room Comftable Bed

Was very hot in the room (CLUB ROOM) could not open the window as there was no lever on there to open it there was a fan but was very wobbly and not the best could not higher or lower it as I tried so I had 2 unsettled nights due to how muggy it was also The safe was locked I did tell someone on reception and was told housekeeping would come and sort it for me but no one came also would be great to have differant food menues as they are they same every day for lunch & evening time meals maybe try a differant menue for eitheir lunch or the evening meals instead of the same menue for both every day

Quick & easy check in Clean & tidy big rooms and staff were very nice and friendly will definitely come and stay again soon x

Just food menu it’s always the same nothing different on there it would be nice to see something different every now & then or on certain days / weekend x I have the same thing every time I attend as nothing else really takes my fancy ( maybe ime just a fussy eater )

We loved our stay at this hotel . It was so clean everywhere you went in the bar and restaurant and toilet. The rooms were fresh and very clean, smelling. The only thing was our bed was too soft for us and the room felt cool. He had issues with the TV timing out and therefore kept going off, but it was very late, so we didn't report the issue . The other roo. The temperature was cool, we didnt ask anyone to fix it. . I would recommend this hotel to anybody. It was a pleasure to stay there and they gave us a nice time.

Lovely hotel , didn’t use any of the facilities so cannot comment, reception was fantastic on arrival lovely welcome …: The lift was a little annoying as you had to scan your room card to operate the lift, but was a little confusing, could do with instructions in the lift as the majority of people couldn’t work it without asking each other

The lift see above The noise was extremely loud on the Sunday morning woke us up, children running up and down the corridor and loud banging , it sounded like something to do with the pipes Don’t think when you pay for a hotel parking should be extra, majority of people drive and has added costs of paying to park , always leaves a bad taste in your mouth… especially as it’s not a cheap B and B

Great location, quiet but close to Merry Hill shopping centre set close to the canal. Clean and well managed. Offered an upgrade to a suite which was very spacious and made the visit feel a little more special. Breakfast had loads of choice from cereal’s to pastries and continental choices. Or a cook selection of sausage, bacon egg, beans, tomato and hash brown. Oddly no black pudding.

Only minor issues. TV in the main room hadn’t been registered so had to watch the one in the bedroom. Shower changed temperature and filled the bath at the same time - guessing it needs a new tap block to sort that out.

As done so before reviews about beautiful hotel hundred percent every time in every way from entering beautiful hotel met by friendly staff all so smart and make you feel welcome we now regularly guest always met by 3 who recognized us I'm so sorry I don't know your names but Carl the last two times checked us in and our room seemed to be upgraded the other man tall black smart and Sharp haircut and a beautiful blonde lady who like us love northern soul , so I hope you know I'm talking about you as always one of you booking us in, so thank you so much for our happy relax welcome and nothing to much trouble hotel as spa great food and bar the rooms perfect spotless clean , that's my first priority so thank you special poeple working hard to , to make that perfect entrance spotless clean, we only ever have windows with view again amazing overlooking waterfront as always my reviews and say every time thank you hundred percent for getting it right, as usual see you soon, kind regards Jayne

The only thing I hate in any hotel is a shower curtain please replace as glass cover over bath for shower only thing what is negative .

Friendly staff on check-in. Good size room & comfy bed. Convenient location near the Merry Hill shopping centre. Added bonus of the leisure facilities, which we enjoyed, & a couple of pubs/eateries close by. We opted for a canal view which was nice. Very good value for money - even with the small additional charge for parking.

The room was very hot & the fan provided didn't really cool us down. No AirCon & the window didn't open. The hand wash & hand lotion dispensers were empty, but I suppose unless it's pointed out the cleaners won't be aware as the bottles aren't see through. Otherwise the room was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was poor for the price. No eggs, basic sausages, coffee machines not working, toast machine burnt the bread, poor choice compared to other hotels who charge a similar price of £12.50. The tables hadn't been cleared so we had to move dirty crockery to sit down. It wasn't busy or near end of service so I couldn't see an excuse for this other than they seemed quite short-staffed. Maybe it was an off-day & I was just unlucky but I didn't feel I got value for money!

Breakfast was great Check in staff great Pool staff fab and let my son in even though the pool closed in 20mins for children, I had told him it was 9pm as nowhere in the emails I’d received had it said 7pm for under 16s- this made his day! Great location for the attractions we were visiting for the weekend! Thank you ☺️

Was disappointed with the room refresh, we stayed 2 nights so didn’t need room cleaned or towels etc, really good system of the door hangers, our bin was full and we needed more tea making items as not many for 3 people, they left tea bags and changed bin however no new toilet roll, biscuits not added and the 3 dirty cups and teaspoons were not changed, meaning I washed them in the bathroom sink which was a little disappointing! Also, very unfortunate as I know it is probably essential, but lots of buildings works going on so the front of the hotel, reception area and car park doesn’t look welcoming or aesthetically pleasing!

Love everything about the this hotel, from walking into beautiful building, met with all friendly, helpful staff nothing to much trouble, all smartly dress, then when we arrive in our beautiful big spotless room we always have a window with a view and now became regulars as love this hotel so much just to relax and walk the waterfront, eat and drink at pubs and club just minutes away see from view of window, bed so big and cosy, power shower and bath if choose then have all tea coffee and biscuits, all shampoo, shower gel , hand wash moisture etc beautiful bathroom large and very bright lights , cosy lighting and bright lights, cosy warm in winter, iron board and iron , hair dryer everything perfect , lovely restaurant with good food and bar beautiful , lifts large and lovely inside

Theirs nothing to dislike

Comfy bed, clean room and friendly staff. I enjoyed using the pool/sauna facilities. Everything is quite small in the leisure facilities but it wasn't too crowded even on a weekend and they provide towels/locks for the lockers so it was a nice experience. The location is probably easier to access by car, as it's about an hour's bus ride from either Birmingham or Wolverhampton. (Only a few minutes walk from the bus stop though.) That said, there is lots of interest directly in the area! The hotel backs on to the canal, where there are also bars etc. On the other side, it's just across a couple of roads and a few minutes walk to a big shopping centre where one can get virtually everything needed. And, the nicest surprise, just beyond the shopping centre is a big nature reserve, with woods, bluebells etc which was really nice to explore and all walking distance from the hotel. Lots of history too from the canal/mining days!

Would have liked to have a herbal tea in the tea selection. Only real thing to be aware of is that the bars the other side of the canal do play music very late. (It was still going around 1am when I fell asleep - although this was a weekend so maybe it was especially late.) Luckily the soundproofing is quite good, so with the windows shut it wasn't too loud. Definitely still audible though - it didn't bother me too much and I enjoyed having the view of a bit of the canal, but light sleepers might prefer to request a room on the other side.
