Staff were really great, helped us with some bus booking logistics when the website was all in Russian and not taking our cards! Kitchen staff also friendly when I needed to wash some stuff up. Breakfast good with lots of local choice and the usual salad, cereals etc. Tea/coffee always available in reception to help yourself. Good recommendation of local restaurants from reception staff. Nice having the pool available as we arrived here after a few days hiking.

Trains caused a bit of noise early evening but didn't notice during the night.

I liked the location. For me it was easy to walk to the center and to the railway station from which many buses start their tours. Breakfasts were very nice (oatmeal, cakes, and others) and starting from 7 AM was convenient. WiFi is good. You can have hot water anytime on the first floor with access to tea and water. Helpful staff 🙌

There was a problem with hot water in the shower on the first day, later it was fixed, thank you The water pressure was a bit low in my room I had trouble at first finding the place on the first day, but then it was ok.

The pool was good ( sadly not used as too cloudy) and had seating and recliners. The gardens were lovely and it would have been a beautiful oasis on a sunny hot day. The breakfasts were good - ask to have it all warmed in the microwave as it’s served as a cold buffet. The staff were good and rooms clean. Nice seating area in reception and dining room.

There’s lots of roadworks in the area ( 8 Sept 2024) which should finish soon - they will text you details for drivers. It’s also place to get a taxi to and from at night as we did not want to walk through the area which is a bit run down. Use Yandex for taxi which is very cheap and easy. Day is ok to walk. Close to a railway line so freight trains rumble by at night - it was quite exciting to hear but would wake you up if facing the line.

Located away from the main town, which is very noisy with much traffic. The rooms were spacious, staff helpful and the breakfasts plentiful. Tea and coffee available to help yourself throughout the day. The pool was lovely and quiet, and a nice place to sit and read or relax. The hotel is along a dirt track and tucked behind a corner at the far end. After returning from a group trip of Kyrgyzstan, the road was in process of being tarmaced. I usually make my own way to accommodation but glad I booked taxi via booking.com from airport, as the hotel has two address on website. Note that both are correct- previous address is the Russian name and has now taken on the Kyrgyz name.

Bishkek is a noisy and polluted town with much traffic. The Asia hotel seemed the best option to get away from this, but still I needed to keep windows closed because of the pollution. The train line infront of the hotel didn’t bother me as much as others (commented on the reviews). Cargo trains passed by a few times in the night but wearing ear plugs sorts out the noise issue.

Clean; comfortable; safe; helpful and courteous staff; good location for my purposes; very good and plentiful breakfast; very nice gardens and environment; good wifi; walkable to several cafes and restaurants.

My room was on the side of the train tracks. The train runs multiple times through the night. This sometimes disrupted my sleep. The Internet bandwidth was not consistently adequate for FaceTime and video calls.

A great place to start the travels within Kyrgyztan. The interior reflects the experience to come within the country. The room even had a open fireplace, ready to use. Very nice also the big bathroom and pool.

Even though the breakfast time is from 7:30- 10:00, at 9:15 there were only leftovers, and already covered with plastic wrap. Maybe due to few visitors at this time of season. Sadly the double bed was consisting of two separate beds, where the matresses been slightly to big. So, slipping into the middle gap could not be avoided, as the matresses are a bit tilted.

Clean, comfortable, safe, lovely garden, pool, very nice breakfast and good location for me.

The room I was in this time, 4, did not have a desk. This made doing my work abit cumbersome. The WiFi was also of intermittent bandwidth. This resulted in several interruptions during an important 2 hour video call.

Its a very nice building and garden, and easy to walk from.

the breakfast could have been western tourist friendlier. Some good bread and eggs would help. Reception was always helpful and friendly, but there seemed to be other staff who didn't interact at all.

The place was beautiful, surrounded with gardens, clean and very comfortable. Our room was very spacious, with a vestibule and a full, clean bathroom. Didn't get to try the breakfast due to our early departure.

While being well located, I would have liked to be a little closer to Bishkek's parks and central area. Communication with staff was OK, but not so straightforward due to language hurdles.

Our stay at the Asian Mountains was lovely. The rooms very cosy and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. As we travelled early morning in a big group, they made sure we had our breakfast packed and organised transfer to the airport.
