Liberty place was exceptional! We were skeptical before arriving after reading some reviews about it being dirty but this was the most clean place we’ve seen it. The young couple who run the place are the most friendliest and helpful people and always on hand if you have questions/need water. The laundry was done by 6pm the same day which is excellent service. you have a huge choice for breakfast and the food is cooked fresh. unlimited hot water use with tea/coffee facilities also available all day and night. we had a room on the ground floor on the outside bit and it was so quiet, (except for the crazy thunderstorms which obviously is out of anyones control😅). Location is excellent & they provide free bikes (you have to be up early to get them though!)

We loved everything! I would just have one recommendation which would be to get more bikes for guests :)

- Location seems to be far away from the main attractions, but the city is easily walkable and they have free bicycles to use, so the location is absolutely fine. - Room is spacious and has a mini fridge and hair dryer. - Bathroom provides bodywash, shampoo and a good shower. - Breakfast is included; you can choose from a menu and you will also get some fruit and juice. - They can arrange transfer to basically everywhere for you. - Staff is friendly and helpful.

- Hygiene of the room could be somewhat better; I had many tiny ants in the room and there were a lot of stains on the walls. But can’t really complain for this price.

Liberty place can provide you with a lot of services such as train ticket, transport to short and long travel (kuang si, caves, nong khiaw...) for an affordable price. You can discover the city by bicycle and it's totally free and really useful. At night, you can go to the street food market by foot, it's only 10min far. I enjoyed the breakfast with sweet and savory options, tea or coffee, and fruits and juice served with it. I had 2 peaceful nights, the area is really calm.

I had to fight with 5 mosquitos when I arrived in my room: it would be nice to be more careful when opening the door for cleaning !

We had an absolutely amazing stay here and even decided to come back before heading off the airport again. Overall we had 7 nights here. The breakfast was great and we had complimentary tea whenever we wanted. Tom (the host) was extremely friendly and trustworthy, we even kept a bag of belongings with him when we went on the train to vang vieng (as we were unable to take them on the train). One of the kindest people we have met so far on our trip. Unfortunately we didn’t get round to using the free bicycles but this was also a great touch. Beds were comfy and the aircon was brilliant!!!

Nothing much to say here! The only thing we noticed is that when we got our room cleaned, we had our towels changed, floor cleaned etc but our bed wasn’t redone. We didn’t really care to be honest but just to bear in mind!

Wifi awesome, shower pressure perfect, power points awesome, fridge worked awesome to, bed comfy , breakfast ok to, good with free by bye cycle 🚲 to, and hire a moped from them to , and all train tickets etc on wall with prices so good to compare 😀 location good, about 4 min bike ride from place to main parts, big supermarket 4 min away to which was good, I'd not hesitate to say choose this place honestly , room cleaned everyday to! 😀

I could not dislike anything to be honest , sth east Asia motels etc aren't European ones, but then don't come with price tagg to! Check this place out honestly

The host! He is very helpful and friendly. No insects inside the room which is nice. The price is very good compared to other places in Luang Prabang in my opinion.

The air freshener felt too strong when I first got in. I would recommended switching to something with lighter smell. The location is actually a bit far from where all the restaurants and tourism activities are. I would recommend newcomers to Luang Prabang to stay as close to the night market and the national museum as possible for your convenience. However, the hotel did let their guests use their bikes for free to make up for this.

This place was great - it was super clean and really comfortable, and the rooms were so big. It was also only a ten minute walk to the main part of town, and you could use the bikes for free to get there faster too - which we loved. The hist was really friendly and helpful, and offered to arrange a number rof tours or transport to ither places for us. We liked it so much we stayed a second time when we stopped back in Luang prabang a bit alter in our trip. The breakfast was also really tasty.

Nothing, it was great.

The owners were really kind and were very knowledgeable with booking onward travel - they were able to sort our train tickets out for us for the next day. You can hire motorbikes from the property which worked perfectly and there are free bikes to use (we only used these once as they were a bit worn out but they were still fun to use). The breakfast was lovely, the fresh fruit and fruit juice was different everyday too so you don’t get bored. You can sit on the balcony to have breakfast and the views are very beautiful with the mountains in the distance. The beds were comfy and the water in the showers was nice and hot.

There were quite a few mosquitos in the room when we arrived but I assume that’s because they aired the room, it was no bother as we dealt with them.

We loved our stay in Liberty Guesthouse. Clean and spacious room, comfortable bed, good shower pressure, AC worked well, safe and fridge in the room. Location is about 10 mins from the night market on the quieter side of town. Having the bikes made it a lot easier to get around, it’s also such a lovely experience cycling through the streets of LP. The best thing about Liberty Place is the staff. Anything we asked they arranged for us. We went to Nong Khiaw for a few days and they let us leave some of our luggage and kept it safe. They also arranged a minivan to transport a bag to Vang Vieng with some aerosols (you can’t bring this in the train). Laundry was cheap and done in 24 hours. I would be happy to recommend to anyone.

The only issues we had was that housekeeping staff left the door of our room open until we arrived so there were a lot of mosquitos in our room.

A little out-of-town but close enough that it's only a 10-15 minute walk in. Able to get laundry cleaned. Friendly staff who provide a daily breakfast.

There is construction going on next door, which is a shame. We were out most days before they started and home once they'd finished but it wouldn't be pleasant to be in your room during the day with their noise...and it looks like it'll be happening for quite some time :(
