The staff were extremely helpful and there was a lovely outside area to relax in. WiFi and air conditioner worked very well and the breakfast was great!

It is great to have a pool just be aware that it is a paddling pool (standing, the water is knee height) so you can swim in it. Still great to cool off though! The hotel is about 15/20 min walk to the main area. The walk there is on dimly lit roads so if I were alone I may have felt a bit on edge. We didn’t encounter any problems though!

It was a great experience to stay in an old, huge building like this one. There is true "genius loci". So even though the facilities are a bit older, I did not mind. And I really liked the outside area where you could chill. The owners are lovely, can arrange everything for you. The location is close to the center but in a calm village.

The doors to the bathroom in our room were creaking very loudly.

We had the superior room. It was big and very nice. Hotel is not in the centre but a short walk gets you by the river, the night market and all the entertainment. The hotel has a big outside covered terrace used for breakfast in the morning and is very comfortable to lounge there during the day. It has some plugs for those working remotely and comfortable armchairs and sofas. Bed was very comfortable.

No toiletries at all not even a small soap for the sink. They only provided liquid soap and shampoo in the shower cubicle but nothing to wash your hands. A small soap would have been useful at least.

We felt very comfortable. The room was nice and clean. They offer delicious free breakfast and the staff is really nice and helpful. It's around 20 minutes walk to the city center, so for us it was close enough. They have tables and chairs outside so you can spend time there. They also offered Tours for a reasonable price.

I took a shower and suddenly there was no water coming out of the shower anymore. But it came back after two minutes. And there was still water coming out of the sink. One time there wasn't enough water to flush the toilet. But it was always just a problem for a couple of minutes and it didn't make us feel less comfortable. We would still recommend the guest house to everyone!

The property is well-maintained. Room is spacious with big bed and clear bathroom. AC is also cool though TV isn’t working but not really a concern since we are mostly out. Location is also good. Not so far from the old quarter with some restaurants and essentials store stone’s throw from the property. Staff are very much helpful and polite. Basic breakfast served is good and dining area is quite relaxing.

The lady who runs the guesthouse is extremely helpful and friendly. She was so good for helping us organise a private tuc tuc for the day and organising a bus to the train station for us and was genuinely curious about our plans for our trip in Luang Prabang. The breakfast they serve is great and location is perfect.

Noisy guests but that is not the hotels fault so hasn’t affected our score :)

Spaceful property, room was ok. There were screen door to protect against mosquito and allow air to go through, otherwise the room would not be well ventilated

Staff seems like did not transfer info to each other well, also some staff didnt have info on tour or bus while others may know, minor issue only

Super clean, comfy, great air con and shower. Central location 15 minute walk to the night markets. Basic but good breakfast included.

You cannot pay by card it must be in USD or Kip. I paid in euro and received change in Kip but I didn’t like that the hotel makes it own exchange rate and you actually pay more than the booking.com rate if you pay in Kip!

Quiet location, but still close enough to walk to any attractions; nice breakfast, friendly staff, pool looked clean, mosquito net in front of window

Didn't have warm water one morning (but I got up very early, so maybe that's why?); the second morning the shower was okay; very firm mattress (but normal in Laos)

located in a quiet corner only a few minutes walk to the tourist center the guesthouse seemed pretty new or renovated our room was bigger than expected the room was to the backside on the ground floor,so there was no direct sun sometimes there was a little smell from a chicken farm on the next property breakfast was included and good the price for what you get is excellent
