My stay at Phailin was perfect! The premises are immaculately clean. My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel reception was courteous and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great. They offered a nice complimentary breakfast with a decent selection. The hotel is also nicely located next to shops and restaurants. The night market is a short 10 minute walk. The hotel can also help with tours and transportation back to the airport. I would most definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Phailin Hotel and would like to extend special thanks to Ms. Giang, the hotel receptionist, for her exceptional hospitality. Ms. Giang, also the owner, was very friendly and took excellent care of us. She helped us book train tickets and arranged a spacious and comfortable room. The male receptionist was also kind and very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel is conveniently located in the city center. Right in front of the property, there is a small food stall offering Thai, Lao, and Chinese cuisine, and a grocery store is located just next door. The hotel also provides services such as motorbike and van rentals, as well as day tours. The night market is only a 5-minute motorbike ride away, making it a great base for exploring the area. If you’re traveling on a budget, I highly recommend this hotel for its value, location, and warm hospitality.

The hotel is located within a short walk from the night market and Mt Phousi - close also to the local stupa and temples. The night market area is busy and noisy whereas the hotel is two or three blocks away. My room fronted the street but the windows and double doors kept what little noise came from outside. There is a good cheap restaurant across the street. Good coffee across the street as well. You can book your tours and travel from the hotel, as I did, or there are always the tour agencies in the same street or elsewhere. I didn't tie myself in knots looking for bargains as the hotel prices are competitive. The staff are a good representation of Lao people: gentle, polite and helpful.

PhaiLin Hotel was the most comfortable and cleanest hotel we had during our stay in Laos. The room is quite large and has enough space to put your clothes and belongings. Our room was on the 1st floor with access to a shared balcony / patio space. We also really liked the bathroom, because it has a glass sliding door separating shower and toilet. And we did not have any insects in the room or bathroom (very rare experience in Laos). There is free water refill and free instant coffee and tea on the ground floor. Location is nice, with a couple of cute cafes nearby. Night market and the old town is a short walk from the hotel but not too far. Most importantly, the owner of this hotel is exceptional. She went out of her way to support us with booking a driver, transport options, and everything else we needed during and after our stay. Communication was always easy and transparent. We came back here for an additional night and definitely recommend it!

The balcony area is nice and has a lot of potential but right now feels bit empty and unfinished. I guess since this is a new place they have bigger plans with it.

the staff is extremely helpful, we tried to book the speedboat tickets through 12ago and it was cancelled just 1 night before departure, but the staff here are amazing, they helped us get 2 train tickets in just a few minutes. thanks to that i was able to get to vientiane on time for my flight to vietnam. we had 3 days stay at this hotel the room was really clean, they provide free water, breakfast with fresh fruit. i highly recommend this place.

A modern and affordable hotel based in the heart of Luang Prabang. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Breakfast included in the price also. A short walk down to the night market but surrounded by cafes, restaurants, local vendors and grocery shops. Ha on reception always greeted us with a big smile and was really helpful at helping us find our feet in Laos. Will be staying here everytime we are in Luang Prabang.

PhaiLin was one of our favourite stays in Laos. The room was very clean and spacious and the bed was comfortable. The team there were very friendly. We had an issue with the bus and two of the staff helped us phoning the bus company to chase them and then helped us get to the bus okay with our luggage. The location is great, just 10 mins walk from the main strip, and nice and quite.

The receptionist An was absolutely amazing, so helpful, nothing was too much trouble, always wore a welcoming smile. Without a doubt, the most important staff member in the hotel, I hope she will be rewarded for all her efforts and the professional manner in which she goes about her business. An made my stay a memorable experience, I will definately revisit PhaiLin Hotel on my next visit to Luang Prabang.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was the cleanest we had in whole Laos, we didn't worry about insects in the bathroom. The room is very well equipped and corresponds to western standards, which is nice. Also they are very helpful to help book a tuk tuk or transportation. The breakfast was also nice and a proper size. Maybe the room on the street side are a bit loud as there are many restaurant around. For some calm, ask for the other side of the hotel. The cover on the double bed was a bit small. But I enjoyed my stay and would totally recommend 😊

An was amazing so helpful and organised tickets and taxis for us. Rooms were beautiful, clean and great balcony. Bathroom large, shower with lots of hot water. Breakfast was cooked to order and very enjoyable. Coffee, tea and water available at reception and kettle in room. Street is busy but not noisy so sleep is not disturbed. Night market close by, bicycle rental across road and next door laundry service.
