My 3-night stay at Sadakham Hotel in Luang Prabang was absolutely phenomenal! The room was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped for a relaxing solo getaway. The stunning view overlooking the serene lotus pond added a magical touch to my mornings and evenings. The staff, led by the exceptional service manager, Junior, were incredibly friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to ensure every detail of my stay was perfect. Breakfast was a delight—fresh, diverse, and bursting with delicious local and international flavors. The complimentary bike was a fantastic bonus, allowing me to explore Luang Prabang’s charming streets with ease. Thanks to Junior and the team, Sadakham Hotel made my trip truly unforgettable, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Laos!

I initially gave the place a 7/10, which I thought was generous. The property has contacted me on my phone 4x since I posted the review: 1 by text, which I deleted before reading. And 3x calls, which I haven't picked up. This has taken place over the course of 6 weeks after I stayed. Now I give the property 10/10. I hope this is what they were looking for. I've also deleted my other comments because I think this speaks for itself.

Just a lovely hotel, the room and bathroom were new and really calming. The balcony was lovely. It really felt like home for a few days. I liked the pool. Shower was great and beds were comfortable and huge. Fruit on arrival was nice. Such great value. Staff are very happy to help.

I went in low season so there was some light construction on the other side of the road which is not the hotels fault. It was noisy from very early. I perhaps only heard it from my room and other parts of the hotel probably didn’t hear it. I just mention it in case any one is looking for complete serenity and quiet. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone.

Very attentive and helpful staff. Room was super comfortable, some of the best I've stayed in while in Southeast Asia. Great breakfast and loads of services like laundry, free bicycles etc. Location is pretty good, short walk from the main street. The pool is small but very nice.

Old in the room TV didn't have Netflix, but my friend's room had a newer smart TV. Only a small gripe and definitely not something to put off my stay but it would have been a "nice to have". In any case, not a big deal and certainly a first world problem!

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The grounds were very well maintained and an oasis of tranquility. The room was quite spacious and very tastefully decorated. The AC worked well and the shower pressure was quite good. The staff was very attentive to their clients needs and quick to address any issues that were brought forward. The location was exceptionally central and It was very easy to walk to many of the interesting sites in Luang Prabang. The only issue I had was that, although you could order as much of the breakfast selections you wanted, the food was not always the most exciting. Having said that the food was plentiful and the staff was most kind and concerned with their clients well being and happiness. My son and I also loved the fact they provided us with free bikes to use during our stay with them. Overall. The places was really lovely and central and I would stay there again next time I am fortunate enough to visit Luang Prabang . Stay at this marvellous place. You won’t regret it!!

Would have liked if there had been real granola with the yoghurt.

- location in the old town & within walking distance to the river. - we are a group of friends who took up 6 rooms so practically we have the whole hotel to us only. - breakfast at the garden area. - friendly and efficient customer service staff named Pouy, he made arrangements for us such as train tickets, tuk tuk & pick up services. Always service with a smile. - clean and comfortable rooms, endless supply of drinking water. - the room and hotel look like the pictures shown in Booking.com

- butter wasn't kept in the refrigerator so when it was served it was in oil form. - fruits served weren't that fresh at times. - lack of shower cap and hand towel. - the bathroom floor is very slippery.

Very beautifully decorated and chill vibe. All the hotels nearby have really good vibe all together. Not many rooms so very quiet Kind staff and nice breakfast with a nice view

We had a really great stay. The hotel is down a narrow road so there’s no passing traffic and we had a large, comfortable room with a lovely balcony. It’s easy to walk to all of the main sights. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food. It’s worth also reading the google reviews as some people say that they booked this hotel and got moved to the sister hotel. I message the hotel before we arrived to confirm that we would definitely be staying here.

Room was quite large and included a mini-fridge. Everything worked quite well and breakfast is made to order and delicious. A 5-minute walk to Night Market, Morning Market and hilltop temple.

Very hard to find - location listed on Google Maps and booking.com is not correct and nearby hotels did not seem to be aware of it. Eventually a hotel clerk from a nearby hotel walked us down the narrow alley where it is located. There is also a large construction project going on in the courtyard but I assume that is just temporary.

This is the kind of place that I want to tell all of my friends about but at the same time want to keep it a hidden gem. I love everything about this hotel. It's so calm, peaceful, and zen like a little oasis with lots of coconut trees that reminds me so much of the place I grew up in. The room, like the hotel, is brand new. It's very spacious, bright with nice touches and look even better than pictures. I love sitting on the balcony listening to crickets at night. Breakfast was really generous I had to order just half the portion to avoid wasting food. The staff was hard-working, genuine and lovely, especially Phit who was so kind and helpful.

This is not related to the stay, but I accidentally saw the room where staff stay in, and I really hope it could be nicer like the rest of the hotel.
