From my first email inquiry to check-out, the staff displayed genuine warmth. They greeted me by name, offered cold towels after half-day tours, and inquired about my plans each morning. Small gestures—like a complimentary welcome drink and fresh flower petals on the pillow—made all the difference. Their kindness left me feeling like an honored guest of Lao friends.

Each morning’s breakfast buffet was a delight: tropical fruits, baguettes still warm from a nearby bakery, and fragrant jasmine rice porridge. The coffee station offered both drip and espresso styles, a rare treat in Southeast Asia. I lingered by the sun terrace sipping fresh-squeezed orange juice while planning my day’s temple tour. Excellent value and delicious.

Visoun hotel was a great stay. We were there for a total of 7 days and the staff did their best to help us out with as much as they could. There is only one worker, Chaly, that can speak fairly fluent English - so it was challenging to book anything when he was not there. But, he was helpful, room was big, bathroom was nice.

Air conditioning in one of the rooms we had was bad, but the other one was very good. Also, some beds are comfier than others.

I needed peace after trekking Kuang Si Falls; Visuon dilivered. My room faced away from the main road, so I woke only to birds, not traffic. The lounge area's fireplace was an unexpected, cozy touch in cooler evenings. Check-in/check-out was swift, thanks to Chan's efficient service.

Nice hotel with many shops around. It's a short walk to the night food market and other spots in the city. It has an ATM just outside the building and offer excursions and taxi

The staff the first day was not English-speaker and the credit card did not work, but they kindly solved that the following day

Overall a nice place in a good location with friendly staff.

The balcony door did not close all the way so mosquitos could come in, we brought a mosquito repellant machine so it didn't affect us much but without it, it would have been an issue.

The room in large and the hotel is located close to all services.

Entering the room feels like going back in time as it is 70's style, the room balconi is on the main road therefore a bit noisy from early in the morning until late at night.

The beds were comfortable and good size rooms.

The tv didn’t work, turned on but no antenna or digital box so could watch anything. My father in law mentioned this to reception and they said it’s an issue for all the rooms?
