Ben was very helpful, the perfect host. He acted as a travel agent, sorting out trips and returning to the train station. Good sized room, location not in the centre but an easy 5 to 10 min stroll in. We liked the fact Ben only took over the hotel less two years ago and is slowly and considerately making improvements. The bed was reasonably comfortable and not too hard. Tea and coffee are available all day. Breakfast included plenty of fresh fruit, and you could order egg dishes from the menu. We had pancakes. The area where breakfast was served was very socialable, and it was nice to chat to other travellers.
The shower was awful, the water flow very poor and temperature not consistent. We had to wait for the shower to have warm water too. The air con directly opposite one on the beds meant the temperature was difficult to control. Noise from dogs and cockrals starting at 3.30ish was not the fault of the hotel but meant we didn't get much sleep. It would be advisable to have better fitted windows to drown out the noise.

Breakfast was great with a choice of omelette, pancakes, spring rolls, scrambled or fried eggs. There was also beautifully presented fresh fruit plates. White bread for toasting plus jam. Freshly squeezed mango juice and tea or coffee. Rooms were clean, neat and spacious. Hot showers. Blackout curtains. Effective air conditioning. Firm but comfy beds. Ben the owner is great at organising activities and transport pickups with a minimum of notice.
Be aware there is some minor building works happening at the moment on the property but these were not an inconvenience and will enhance the look of the property in the future.

Very spacious room. Very clean, comfortable room with a view of beautiful banana plants by the terrace and a pond of big fish at the base of the banana plants. Like the idea that everyone had to leave the shoes on a rack before walking into the foyer which was always kept clean. This helped to keep the place nice and clean to walk on. The Host was floating around but responded to queries very promptly on WhatsApp. He was helpful in booking tuktuk and providing advice about things he knew and told us he couldn't help when he wasn't sure.. The location was quiet.
Poor appearance at the street with a bit of construction going on at the driveway entrance to the hotel which set back from the road. But I suppose this was necessary for improving the area.

Mr Ben provided outstanding service! He was there every day to help and couldn’t do enough for us during our stay. He helped to organise our paragliding, sorted Tuk-Tuks to help us get around and was always at the end of the phone for help and information. We had such a lovely stay here, highly recommend! The rooms have everything you need for your stay and are clean and quiet. If you’re staying in Vang Vieng, this hotel is a must. The location is perfect, close to the centre and to the bus station.
The only issue was the water for the shower wasn’t very warm, however we’ve been travelling around south east Asia and have found this to be an issue in most places we have stayed in.

Incredibly friendly and helpful owner, he genuinely wanted to make sure everyone has a nice stay and it was appreciated. He helped us arrange our onward train travel and a taxi to the station. The place is on a quiet back street away from the main road, so every night was quiet and we had a good sleep. Breakfast is great, enough options to choose from and all delicious. Free tea and coffee whenever you want it. The town centre is about 10-15 mins walk away, with all the restaurants/bars/tour office, whatever takes your fancy. We very much enjoyed the balcony and it was a lovely place to relax in the shade during a hot afternoon.

The location was easy walking distance from town center about 10 minutes. Breakfast was great with a menu you could order what you liked (eggs, pancakes, toast ECT). Free waters. And the host was lovely booking and organizing transport, suggesting things to do. Would recommend hiring scooters through them too ! Rooms were a great size and aircons worked so well!
Nothing they were great. But just for your information you walk down behind the first building to the hotel. I got a little confused when I got there where it was because the front house is getting built.

I visited Vang Vieng Champa Hotel was where I stayed after the capital before heading next destination Luangprabang . Druing stay at Vang Vieng we did many acctivity , buggy car, hot air balloon , kayaking... didn't stay in my room for too long, so all I was looking for was a room that was clean and had a nice size bed; private balcony all of which met my expectations. Bathroom came with all the necessary toiletries as well. . All the staff were excellent and very attentive and accommodating towards my needs throughout my stay there.

From check-in to check-out, the team was amazing. I arrived early but they were able to give me a room by 11:500am. They managed my expectations told me it will be around 30 minutes wait at the lobby if I wanted to wait druring that time they gave us some infomation about town and help us book kayaking tours and train ticket to next destination . the room was ready. the room had a huge window with view, walking distance from center just 3-5 minutes . The breakfast here top for our holiday at Laos Should you stay here? Definitely.

- breakfast was basic but there were a good few options to choose from - rooms were comftorble, fairly modern and a great size - shower was powerful - staff were friendly enough - good amenities in the rooms - location was a little further out but only an extra five minute walk which you get used to very quick, it also meant it was quite at night - great value for money
- a lottttt of bugs, i understand it’s the countryside but there were more than we have experienced anywhere else - bad timing but one day we woke up and there was a man doing building work on our balcony, wasn’t an issue but would’ve been nice to be warned - following that there was a lot of drilling

Great guesthouse in a quiet location but still close to the center in less than 10 minutes walking. Good breakfast and there is always fruit and tea available for free throughout the day. The room was spacious and comfortable with a nice balcony. The host was nice and offers a great selection of activities to do in Vang Vieng as well as train and bus tickets.
There were a lot of ants in the rooms and sometimes even on the bed, but this is expected as it is on the countryside and the room was on the ground floor close to the garden. This was a very minor issue and would still definitely recommend the stay.
