Like the majority of the places we have visited in SE Asia it is the staff that make the place what it is. At the Eastin the staff were excellent which really helped to make our stay as good as it was. We also really liked the gym and the wifi which are essential for my husband and me. The breakfasts were also excellent.

The rooms are not particularly soundproof and on the second night of our stay we were woken up at 3.30am by rowdy guests next door - the noise persisted on and off for two hours. Our shower cubicle also leaked quite badly so everytime we had a shower the floor was saturated. We reported this to the management but it wasn't attended to for the duration of our stay, however we did only stay for 3 nights.

Modern aesthetic, very kind and helpful staff (Especially Dun who served us both at the buffet breakfast & also the restaurant downstairs. She was the absolute loveliest and best customer service, very kind!!) Spacious room and attentive staff.

The food at both restaurants upstairs and downstairs was more on the mid tier range compared to the price unfortunately. Also, in our room specifically, the shower was not built properly and the lining was not fixed so all the shower water leaked all over the bathroom floor every time. Didn’t bother us too much as we just put towels in the gaps, but that left us with soaking wet cloths ( but they were changed daily for housekeeping) so we weren’t too bothered by it, only a minor problem.

The staff were great! From driver who picked us up from the airport to the lady at the front desk named “Pup!” I love her energy and her hospitality! She made our stay from good to great! The wait staff for breakfast were also awesome! Very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was excellent! Delicious and bountiful! I also loved their app from which you can order a shuttle to town and amenities. Our room was facing both the pool and the Mekong River. Great views!

The towels were old looking, gray, and tattered. They’re very stingy on toilet paper. O😂 The shower and the sink were clogged. The bathroom was a bit dated. There were also ants crawling around and a few on my bed!

Beautiful hotel and extremely clean and comfy, lovely cosy bed and great room. The staff are amazing. Super friendly and attentive with great English. The pool was lovely and the rooftop bar was nice. Didn’t realise that breakfast wasn’t included, so make sure you check this! Would have been nice (considering the price) to have breakfast included. We had a few cocktails and thought they could have been a bit better, again considering price. But regardless we had such a lovely relaxing stay here. The free hourly shuttle service to and from the centre was also really useful and such a bonus!

Mr Phet and his team did everything they could to make our stay pleasant. The hotel is located right on the mekong with amazing sunset views. The free shuttle service into town was great and easy to book. The rooftop bar was really nice and had a good selection of food and drinks. The buffet breakfast every morning was fabulous.

Honestly there was nothing that I did not like and I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family travelling to Ventiane.

The only thing I liked about this hotel accommodation was that it's new.

The rooms were actually smaller than what was pictured. I understand the dimensions were provided, but I was expecting the rooms to be more spacious. The location of the hotel is a bit further, probably a good 10 min walk into the central area of VTE. We didn't mind the walk but got a bit tedious and exhausting if having to go back and forth all the time. Staff was okay. We weren't acknowledged while waiting to be helped unless we walked up to the front desk. Also, I was not told that if we lose a key card at checkout, we'd be charged $8 USD. That would've been something nice to be made aware of. I booked this hotel because of their 360 view rooftop. Went to check it out, and it was small. Again, pictures made this accommodation look more grand than it really was.

Situated right beside the Mekong River, the view from the room was peacefully beautiful. Our room was big and comfortable, the bathroom was clean and there were many power points for your charging needs. The internet was OK, sometimes fast sometimes inaccessible. The staffs there were great, friendly and very fast in entertaining our request. Highlight of all the good things of course was the breakfast buffet. It was very very good as you can order selections of how your eggs want to be done, fresh made pancakes made once ordered, honeycomb station, smoothie station and other local delights. Worth the price paid for the room and recommended!

Other than the rooftop for the sunset view and bar being a little bit slippery, there's not much negative about this stay.

Beautiful hotel; fabulous breakfast buffet; stunning sunsets from the rooftop bar; and lovely view of the Mekong from the bedroom balcony. Hotel also provides convenient shuttles into town. The icing on the cake was the EXCEPTIONAL service- decorating the hotel room for a family birthday, and sending us delicious tiramisu to the room, and getting the live band on the rooftop to sing a birthday song at night. The staff go over and above to make your stay pleasant.

Keep the balcony doors closed at night or the flies will come in.

The entire staff was amazing.. from the front desk to the housekeeper... and everyone in between..the food was excellent at the 360, and the staff was friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The morning breakfast was absolutely outstanding... delicious and so much to choose from...I will definitely return to the Eastin my next stay in Vientiane... A warm thank you to everyone for such amazing service.

Newer hotel, I believe, so all the facilities were top notch. shower was great with good water pressure. dining options were good and the breakfast buffet had a wonderful variety of foods and went until 11:30! room service was prompt, laundry service was quick, and everyone was very accommodating. They offer shuttle services to and from the hotel to two spots in the city.

The pool was still being constructed and that was one of the reasons we chose this hotel so it would have been nice to know that ahead of time. Location is beautiful with a view of the river and Thailand but it isn’t in the heart of the city. Must take a tuk tuk or car to get around.
