We stayed for two weeks at the hotel as part of our move to Vientiane (and search for a new home). The hotel is exactly what you expect, great breakfast, amazing gym, good pool with more then enough beds to relax on, 3 different restaurants with different price ranges and big underground parking for people like us with own transport. There is also a lot of food, shops and other things within walking distance from the hotel.

Its super minor - of course staying in a place like this is pricey while the atmosphere of these hotel-chains make you feel like you could be in any country basically. When you are inside in the hotel, you could be in Paris, Vientiane or any other location.

Fantastic hotels, top in everything: rooms are a paradise, beatiful garden and pool like if you are in a resort, two of the best restaurants in Vientiane right in the hotel itself, and super friendly staff. The best hotel in Vientiane without any doubt!!!

It is a bit away from the city and not in a very pedestrian-friendly street, so you need to walk 10 minutes on a busy road before you get to the nicer streets or the riverside. Also, getting a tuktuk there or renting a scooter like most locals or budget travellers do, is not possible. Staff doesnt even know where to rent one. You can only get expensive radio taxis.

Firstly, the staff were unbelievable. Extremely friendly and went above and beyond. Special shoutout to Jacky and Billy for their exceptional service, they made our stay so special. Not only did they constantly ensure our stay was wonderful, we observed their service extend to other guests and make them feel just as amazing as we did. From sharing their recommendations to friendly faces in the morning. Both members need some serious praise as they’re INCREDIBLE! Further, The breakfast was incredible WOW - the range was HUGE. The gym is beautiful with brand new equipment. Highly recommend

Carpark was slightly annoying to access with a scooter being on the other side

there definitely isn’t enough space to type out all the great things about this place. the property itself is very well maintained and beautiful. the staff are exceptional from the moment you check in until you leave. the pool area is a great place to relax (and mint and wang) behind the pool bar were friendly, professional and made amazing mojitos! the breakfast may seem a little pricey but if you choose the buffet option it is 100% worth it. There are almost too many options to choose from in regard to food but definitely something for everyone. The bed was comfortable, the room was so clean, and the little complimentary snacks were a nice touch. I would recommend to anyone who wants a nice getaway in Laos OR someone who is looking to treat themselves at the end of a LONG backpacking trip!!

Absolutely nothing

The facilities were excellent (shower, bath, air conditioning, hot-water pressure, lighting controls, room safe deposit box, TV, etc) and the variety of F&B outlets were outstanding. The Executive Lounge was very well laid out to cater for both business and relaxation. The crowing glory of the property was the staff. From the Front Desk to the Concierge and the Executive Lounge all had very well-trained staff. Courteous, polite, attentive and willing to go the extra mile for the comfort of the guest - simply EXCELLENT!

Nothing I can think of!

The hotel room is spacious, loved the serene outdoor area where my husband and I mostly spend our downtime having cocktails and desserts if we’re not in the room. They have night live music. There is a restaurant/bar on the pool level, good for when you want a drink or two to relax by the pool. Lobby is big and spacious, great for guests to hang out and wind down.

Would have to catch public transport to get around as the location is out of the main city centre so walking distance wasn’t an option.

Breakfast: Great variety, they also offered coffee to go during breakfast knowing that I was in a rush. Room: Great, big and spacious with great amenities. Love the option of watching television from the tub and also a separate shower and toilet.

Only thing was the room card that didn't work so well on both days that I stayed there, when i reached the room the card had an error so I had to go to the lobby to get a new one/someone had to come up to give me new cards.

Staff were excellent - so helpful and attentive. Food choices were wide, tasty and good quality. Breakfast at Mosaic, lunch & snacks at Elephant Lounge, bar food & drinks at The Link, and dinner at 3 Merchants were all excellent. The concierge team was super helpful and efficient. Overall, the hotel is lovely, food is good, gym well laid out and the staff were awesome.

Nothing - all great!

We had 2 different stays at the Crown Plaza during our Laos Trip. The first stay was for 2 nights and the second stay for 1 night. the property is beautiful and brand new, and the rooms are spacious and are equipped with everything we needed. During out stay we had drinks at Elephant which were superb, the dinner at 3 Merchants was so good we opted to dine there again and the gym and spa were fantastic! During our second stay the team welcomed us with fruits, delightful rice cakes and a handwritten note by the GM. The team at the bar had also made notes of our preferred drinks and immediately brought them out! I loved that touch as it made us feel real special.

Nothing it was perfect

The hotel is very spacious. The room we had was very spacious and the dining area at breakfast was the same. The tables weren’t close together so it was exceptionally relaxing. Staff were very attentive and always on hand to help.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it.
