Comfortable bed, amazing room, good a/c. Nice spa area.

Expected more taste from breakfast and wider selection.

This hotel was a fantastic choice! The staff were incredibly helpful and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The food was amazing, with delicious options for every meal. The spa was a highlight—relaxing, with a surprisingly spacious pool and a decent sauna. Our room was spacious and had a cool, unique design that added to the charm. But what truly took our breath away was the surrounding nature. The views were absolutely stunning, with lush landscapes and breathtaking scenery right outside our window. It felt like a peaceful escape into paradise. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for great service, relaxation, and unforgettable views!

While the room was spacious and beautifully designed, it lacked practical touches like drawers for clothing and a proper desk for working or studying. The provided toiletries were basic, somewhat cheap in quality, and not quite enough (though you can always ask for more). We also didn’t get a chance to explore other activities the hotel offers, like skiing, horseback riding, enjoying the lake, or using the cinema room—but that’s on us due to the season and our lack of time.

Room looked a bit tired,i wold say its needs a shades on a windows because from balcony you easy can se neighbours using toilet or laying in bed,was a bit uncomfortable.

The place is truly a gem. You won't find anything like it in Latvia. With unique small rivers and reservoirs everywhere, you can walk through them on beautifully built wooden bridges and trails. It would be great to see more of these in the future. The building is well-equipped with everything you need, and if you require anything else, the friendly staff are always available to help. The SPA area is fantastic, featuring a nice swimming pool with an excellent view. There is one steam room (either Turkish or Finnish, not sure), and another classic one that was closed at the time of our visit. The restaurant serves excellent food—we had the sirloin beef steak, and it was really good. We stayed in a LUX room, which was nice and clean with a big window overlooking the lake. It would be cool to have a bath as we expected that.

The air conditioner didn't cool the temperature at all, and the bed mattress was too soft for us. Additionally, we wanted to have a drink in the SPA, but the call button wasn't working, and no one came. However, these issues did not ruin the overall experience; everything else was just great.

Overall had a wonderful experience. The first day administrator was exceptionally helpful and nice, making us feel very welcome. Our room was beautiful, with all the amenities we needed, and even more. The spa zone was clean and exactly as advertised on the website, providing a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The surroundings are peaceful and close to nature, perfect for a getaway. The on-site restaurant, while priced similarly to high-end places in Riga and possibly a bit overpriced, served tasty food. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, a great way to start the day and the waiter was very forthcoming, as we have messed up our order. We would definitely come again.

We did encounter a slight issue with the spa zone; despite being advertised as opening at 9 AM, the saunas were only turned on after our request when we arrived a bit after 9. Additionally, the worker on duty did not know how to turn on the steam sauna. However, this was a minor drawback in an otherwise excellent stay.

Lovely location nice and quiet place. We was staying in apartment number 9 very spacious with lovely view. Beds very comfortable. Dinner was just excellent bit overpriced but worth every penny. Unfortunately not big choice of desserts.Spa facilities also was nice and clean.

I didn't like breakfast. Service was slow even we pre order and have time slot when we coming for breakfast. We have to wait for about 25-30 min for our breakfast to arrive. Choice of breakfast also not big.

We enjoyed the beautiful view from the room. The hotel area was quiet and nice. Breakfast was very delicious and there was plenty of choice given. Staff was very friendly. As to spa area, we enjoyed it.

Some small details were missing in the room, for example, in the bedroom there was no place where to hang clothes. We would have liked a bit higher sink in the bathroom. As for the shower, it was a bit messy with shower curtains that let the water run out of the shower.

We did enjoy our stay in total at Jonatan SPA, everything was well organised. Good location and the views of beautiful nature. Also staff there was very kind and friendly. SPA area was very relaxfu and organised with good service and soft drinks. Also the dinner was 10 of 10, very tasty and well served by stuff. About the breakfast it was even better, food was very good and in the right timing served. Very professional and friendly staff. We definitely will come back and recommend this place to our friends. great location, nice place, very good spa, but would be great to have renovation

sound isolation is very poor. Hotel really need renovation works. once it was amazing, now it seems nothing really is done there to keep it so :)

The food and attentiveness of the staff.

The spa is need of some attention (hammam was closed for repairs) the missing/broken tiles on the ceiling of the steam room were unsightly and the plunge pool outside sauna seemed unclean and the stairs were loose. Would also recommend some curtains in the rooms as the light nets might let in a lot of light in the short summer nights.
