Breakfast was excellent! Wonderful selection and always hot. Good coffee selection. Check in was exceptional as was every member of the staff we encountered. Rooms were clean, beautiful, and comfortable. Loved having the electric kettle for hot water. Used it every day! If I travel to that area again, Aleksander Hotel and Spa is the only place I will stay. I did not get the opportunity to use the spa facilities, but I did have a look around and they are beautiful and spacious with much to offer. Thank you for the wonderful and unforgettable experience! It is a magnificent hotel with beautiful murals and decor!

Only thing my friends and I mentioned to each other was that the toilet paper rolls were small and quickly used up. With excellent room services it was never a problem, just gave a us a little chuckle.

What a fantastic hotel! Absolutely loved this place. First of all the building is superb, properly grand. The rooms were excellent, and everything oozed luxurious. Parking was at the front and didn’t cost us anything. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice in a really airy restaurant area. A bit of a walk to the centre though. A taxi costs about 5eu, so not too much. A word about the staff. They could not have been more welcoming and helpful.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Aleksandar Palace, and it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped into the elegant foyer, I knew I was in for a treat. Comfortable Rooms: The newly renovated rooms are a true delight. Spacious, modern, and impeccably clean, they offer breathtaking views from the top floor. Our room on the 5th floor had a cozy balcony where we could unwind and soak in the cityscape. Attentive Staff: The staff at Aleksandar Palace are professional, polite, and always ready to assist. Whether it’s room service or recommendations for nearby attractions, they go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Housekeeping also did a wonderful job keeping our room clean and fully-stocked.

Bathroom is dated, and not renovated together with the rest of the room but this didn't bother us as much.

I had had many stays. Rooms great and great restaurant.

The room cleaners should be made aware if a guest is only one night and come to clean after checkout. Twice the room cleaners wanted to come in before I checked out. This last time she knocked once and let herself in before I could even respond. I could have been standing there undressed. I would have been checking out soon. Your system should have something in place to let them know the guest has checked out.

This was my third visit in Skopje, and first in this hotel. I am sure that i will become regular guest here. Location is perfect. By the river, in green surroundings, you feel like you are not in the city. Nights here are 5 degrees minimum cooler than in the concrete center. Skopje's biggest city Park is few steps away. You can also walk by rhe river to the center square. Building itself is perfect. Painted wall and beautifull loby are something that you need to experience. SPA is perfect, pool is big and modern. The room was in great condition and comfortable.Very rich breakfast. Staff - professional and polite..

Three people at reservation were the best. They helped us change our room, help with money exchange and informed us of the city and traffic. Also the waiters and waitresses were all nice although some of then did not understand English. Especially the oldest waiter was very kind towards us.

The location is a little away from the city center, but not a real problem because it’s very green and clean area with some sports outlets around.

The breakfast was excellent. A selection of meats, cheeses, cake, bread, fruit, salad and some hot options (eg eggs). Coffee, teas, juices etc. We also had an evening meal there one evening which was very tasty and good value. The people on the front desk were really helpful. Tip - make sure you ask them for help and advice otherwise they will stay out of your way. However, the minute we asked for information about how to get around and what to see they were ringing people to arrange day trips, giving us advice on how to not get over charged on taxi rides and so on. The rooms were lovely and large, comfy bed, there was a kettle and a small fridge. The location was great - It's a 40 min walk into the city centre and easy to get a taxi back. There is a tennis club next door where you can hire courts, which we did and they were very good. This hotel is great and I would stay again - its decor is slightly quirky compared to a boring modern new hotel but if you prefer something with a bit of charactor then this will suit you. The only thing that might cause some older guests an issue is the shower which was over the bath which was quite high (might be tricky to sep in and out).

The water in the shower wasn't a constant hot temperature - it wasn't a problem but some people might find it an issue.

The staff is really friendly and ready to assist in everything. The location is just few meters from the river and from a big city park, perfect for sport, walking and cycling. The area is really quiet and silent. Spacious room with nice and quite big balcony. A car rental station is inside the hotel. Very nice and relaxing indoor swimming pool, SPA and gym.

Cleaning of room and balcon might be slightly better but overall good.

Hotel Alexandar Palace is by far hotel with the best service in Skopje - ,with guest needs at the center of attention, superb professionalism and very experienced staff - rare to find in Skopje these days in hotel industry. Reception staff helped me a lot and they were excellent. Rooms are beautiful, very modern and have all amenities. My room had beautiful terracd with a great view. I love SPA area with a gym and pool. Breakfast was excellent and I particularly appreciated their flexibility when I was a bit late - no issues with it which shows the quality of staff training. Overall, the best service and the best facilities you can get kn Skopje.

Usually my trips to Skopje are on one day and i visit hotels in the centre alone. First time in this hotel, but i will come back for sure. I liked the calm athmosphere,the perfect lobby. Staff is professional and polite. I had some issue with my car and they solve it in a minute. Overall, nice experience. Thanks a lot.
