When we arrived at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed with a friendly smile. Upon entering our room, we noticed that it was very well decorated. There was a very very comfortable bed, and the bed linens and towels were of high quality and clean. The room was exceptionally clean. The bathroom was stylish and spotless, equipped with everything we needed. As we leaved from the hotel, they bid us farewell with a nice gift. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Skopje.

The property was fantastic! My partner and I stayed there for 4 days and I would in a heart beat return to this accomodation. Firstly the staff, they were incredibly kind, warm and welcoming from our arrival! Next the room itself wow - given the price and location this was an amazing experience everything was new, room was large and spacious and the stay was incredibly comfortable. And last but not least location wow, from restaurants to activities you are in the heart of Skopje a fantastic location within walking distance of everything! I will be telling everyone that I stayed at Hotel Macedonia Square and that they too should ensure they book it for any future trips to Skopje, Macedonia! Bravos 👏

It was a very nice hotel for the price

Finding this place the first time is very confusing. But once you find it it’s all gravy

Excellent modern room. Coffee machine and kettle. Large comfortable bed. Two free bottles of water and three coffee capsules for the machine. The shower room was excellent. Nice strong flow of hot water easily adjustable. Two shower heads. Mirror excellent. Room had electronic "Do not disturb" "Clean Me" buttons. Worked well. Receptionist there 24hr. All spoke good English. Free wi-fi had good download and upload speeds.

I was unable to watch anything on the TV just kept saying network error. I don't watch much TV so didn't ask for this to be fixed. Only a minor inconvenience to me. Only other minor thing was as I was staying for three days I had to ask for more coffee capsules rather than them being replaced without asking during the daily clean.

This property is in an excellent location! It’s amazing how comfortable and stylish the rooms are! The hotel has a wonderful SPA area as well! Its definitely worth it to choose this hotel over the luxury hotels in Skopje! The next day, I moved to a five star hotel for a work-related event and I have to say that Hotel Macedonia Square was much more comfortable, in terms of staff and room comfort! The receptionist, Sami, was very kind and prompt in providing assistance with all inquiries. She spoke excellent English and was very professional. There is no doubt that I will return!

Breakfast was not available in the hotel, but the room had a coffee machine, and tea and coffee was available! In the room you will also find a full minibar!

Great location. Very clean rooms and daily cleaning was attentive and thorough. Beautiful modern room with great ambiant lighting. One of the most comfortable beds and pillows I have ever used in any hotel. The staff is amazing! Very friendly, helpful and take their customers' satisfaction very seriously. I'd like to thank Semi and Sarah for making my stay very comfortable!

I liked everything about my stay and I was informed that in the future the hotel will have some extra facilities which is very promising. As a reccomendation I would like to add that if the room had a Nespresso machine with daily complimentary Nespresso capsules it would enhance the experience even more and add to the cool, modern look of the room itself.

Nice location, the main square is around the corner. Very lively in the weekend. Friendly staff. Room was fine, everything you need is there. The bed is very comfortable. Recommended when staying in Skopje.

First time we were dropped by a taxi it was a bit hard to find (it's a pedestrian zone so you can't drive your car in front of the entrance). Doorhandle of our bathroom was broken, they fixed it and afterwards it was still broken. Elevator did not work half of the stay Jacuzzi was a bit smelly and the steam room was broken. Having a spa was nice though.

I received good communication from the hotel in advance of my trip and they gave me directions on how to get to the hotel from the bus station. I arrived a little earlier than check in so expected to leave my luggage but reception kindly checked if my room type was available which it was so they let me check in a little early. My room was really comfortable - good sized room, lots of storage space, good amenities like toiletries and coffee/tea supplies and an in-room safe, and comfortable bed/linen, rain shower. It was nice to have a balcony but I did not get a chance to use it much. The hotel's location was fantastic - there is only pedestrian access to it and it is so close to Macedonia Square, the Stone bridge, a short walk to museums, the Old Bazaar, fortress, near lots of bars and restaurants. I only realised when I was checking out that a couple nearby restaurants offer a discount for hotel guests and I happened to dine at one of them - that was my fault for not reading through the info sheet given to me. I had breakfast at the hotel and found it had good choices - breakfast is served in a small space so one morning all the tables were occupied when I went down but other guests kindly shifted to make room for me. There was a heads up in the info sheet that breakfast can be busy due to the small space so I had been aware of that. I would stay at the hotel again if I come back to Skopje.

This is only a very minor point but thought to share in case anyone reading this may have mobility challenges. The lifts to the rooms stop between floors so there is still a set of stairs to go up. For example, I was in a 300 numbered room but the lift stopped at 2 so I had to walk up one level. This was not a problem for me but wanted to mention in case this might be useful to know.
