The breakfast is a banquet - with lovely serving staff. The young man at reception was also excellent - helping us with maps and suggestions for restaurants. Lovely hotel in fantastic location just off the main square in Skopje.

I would have liked free access to the small pool and sauna/steam as a hotel guest - after all the hotel has spa in its name. I would of course expect to pay for treatments but I think the basic access should be included. I would also have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room for a hotel in this price range. Otherwise, all tip top.

We booked two rooms at Hotel Solun for 5 nights each at short notice. The hotel is very conveniently located right in the center. Check-in went smoothly and the staff at reception were always very friendly and courteous throughout our stay. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, Wi-Fi worked without any problems. The view from the room of the building in front of it is certainly not nice, but we didn't mind as we were out and about all day. The quietness was also pleasant, there was no noise from the corridor or the neighboring rooms. There was everything we needed for breakfast and always fresh fruit. As we had to leave for the airport at 4 a.m. on the day of our departure, there was a small packed lunch for everyone on the way. We did not use the spa area.

The room we had was quite small, esp the bathroom. Toilet was touching the hand wash basin so if someone is slightly bigger would get stuck! Having said that, we had a water leak from the wash basin so next day were upgraded to Deluxe room which was bigger and bathroom huge with 2 vanities. loved this room. Breakfast was Ok. Had buffet but basics, it was enough to start the day. Staff were great at reception and check in checkout was quick. They promptly took action to minor issues we had. There was a very small indoor lap pool and 2 beds which we booked at reception for an hour each day.

Could change and have some more variety for breakfast.

Location of the hotel was great, just close by the Macedonian square, but still peaceful. The breakfast was good with many options and even some variations from day to day. The room was spacious and clean. The staff helped to book daily trips and was easy and convenient.

There was no shower in the room, only a bath tube with a hand shower. There was no shower curtain, so half of the bathroom was full of water after trying to wash yourself. I simply didn't like it. I booked a massage, but there were some misunderstanding from the staff and didn't succeed to have it.

Very satisfying,everything was perfect. Well located hotel, consistent with the description, very welcoming ,attentive and friendly staff. Very good stay.

I really love this property. I would 100% stay here again. The room was amazing, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was great and cleaned the room every day as well as gave turn down service at night and put chocolates on the pillows. The food served at the hotel was delicious and customer service was great. I ordered a spa package and the massage was fantastic and the sauna was great as well. everything was within walking distance from the hotel . If I come back to Skopje, I will 100% stay here again and recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

The location is fantastic, the staff are friendly, the hotel facilities are good, and a good price for the location the hotel is in. Everything you need is in your doorstep. They upgraded my room so it was a bit bigger and had a bath, which I like but I know a bath isn’t for everyone. They do great massages too!

The small balcony could be cleaned of pigeon poo, and the light in the bathroom didn’t turn off. Other than that all was very good. The hotel is behind some gates and an alley way so you could easily miss it.

We had adjoining rooms with our friends on the first floor. These were the only two rooms on that floor, so we had a quiet stay and there was no noise at all throughout our trip. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh food every morning and plenty of tea and coffee on offer. We also had dinner at the hotel on one night and the food was very fresh and well cooked. The staff were lovely, and two of our party used the spa and also gave it good reviews. Location is perfect, in central Skopje and just a few minutes walk to the main square, Mother Theresa Memorial, the Stone Bridge, and is about a 15 minute walk to the Old Bazaar. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return.

Nothing at all, this was a super trip and everyone at the Solun made sure everything was just right.

As location is perfect, you cannot ask for a better one. Just 1min walk to the main square. Hotel itself is nice and clean and with amazing staff, always ready to help. Very good value for the money if you compare with other options.

SPA was close, and is quite the holiday period where are lots of guests, that was weird. To access the gym you need to pay extra, come on! Breakfast can have some more options but in general is very good, I am just fussy on it and I admit that :)

it is very centrally located in a nice, small side street. The room was wonderful. super modern, quite, specious. The bathroom was fantastic and unique. it had a freestanding claw tub which was like in a 5 star hotel. The bed was so comfortable. Everything was very quite and the curtains really covered the light. The whole room was like in a high end 4-5 star hotel for an amazing price. The breakfast next day was great. so much to choose from. Fresh bakeries, fruit and much more. I really enjoyed my stay.
