The breakfast is a banquet - with lovely serving staff. The young man at reception was also excellent - helping us with maps and suggestions for restaurants. Lovely hotel in fantastic location just off the main square in Skopje.

I would have liked free access to the small pool and sauna/steam as a hotel guest - after all the hotel has spa in its name. I would of course expect to pay for treatments but I think the basic access should be included. I would also have liked tea and coffee making facilities in the room for a hotel in this price range. Otherwise, all tip top.

We booked two rooms at Hotel Solun for 5 nights each at short notice. The hotel is very conveniently located right in the center. Check-in went smoothly and the staff at reception were always very friendly and courteous throughout our stay. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, Wi-Fi worked without any problems. The view from the room of the building in front of it is certainly not nice, but we didn't mind as we were out and about all day. The quietness was also pleasant, there was no noise from the corridor or the neighboring rooms. There was everything we needed for breakfast and always fresh fruit. As we had to leave for the airport at 4 a.m. on the day of our departure, there was a small packed lunch for everyone on the way. We did not use the spa area.

Location of the hotel was great, just close by the Macedonian square, but still peaceful. The breakfast was good with many options and even some variations from day to day. The room was spacious and clean. The staff helped to book daily trips and was easy and convenient.

There was no shower in the room, only a bath tube with a hand shower. There was no shower curtain, so half of the bathroom was full of water after trying to wash yourself. I simply didn't like it. I booked a massage, but there were some misunderstanding from the staff and didn't succeed to have it.

I really love this property. I would 100% stay here again. The room was amazing, spacious, and very comfortable. Housekeeping was great and cleaned the room every day as well as gave turn down service at night and put chocolates on the pillows. The food served at the hotel was delicious and customer service was great. I ordered a spa package and the massage was fantastic and the sauna was great as well. everything was within walking distance from the hotel . If I come back to Skopje, I will 100% stay here again and recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

We had adjoining rooms with our friends on the first floor. These were the only two rooms on that floor, so we had a quiet stay and there was no noise at all throughout our trip. Breakfast was wonderful, fresh food every morning and plenty of tea and coffee on offer. We also had dinner at the hotel on one night and the food was very fresh and well cooked. The staff were lovely, and two of our party used the spa and also gave it good reviews. Location is perfect, in central Skopje and just a few minutes walk to the main square, Mother Theresa Memorial, the Stone Bridge, and is about a 15 minute walk to the Old Bazaar. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return.

Nothing at all, this was a super trip and everyone at the Solun made sure everything was just right.

We arrived earlier,before 12. Our room was prepared and we can use it immediately. It was very pleasant after long way. Thank you very much. The hotel is in the city center,so everywhere is close. We can choose cold welcome drinks. You can park in front of hotel for several minutes-during check-in,hotel has driver who park your car in the security parking. We were here only 1 night,so we had small standart room. Room was comfy with modern furniture. Breakfast was various-several species of ham and cheese,boiled eggs,scrambled eggs, sausages,vegetable, olives,special local food,prosciutto salad,musli,fresh juice and sweet pastry,fruit Staff were very polite and friendly. We absolutely can recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back

It was little bit difficult to achieve hotel with car. Our room was not dirty,but you can see dust on the floor,maybe it is not used to much. The bathroom could be more clean,chrome parts could be shiny for 4*hotel The cappuccino was not gut,tasted terrible

Location, breakfast, cleanliness were good.

It is very close to the city center, our room was clean and good. The breakfast was good. However, since the hotel had a parking problem, they allocated a place for 3 days in a paid parking lot for 30 euros. I did not use my car for 1 day and interestingly enough, it was parked in front of the hotel and stayed there. They charged me as if it was in the parking lot that day. I think this overshadowed the other good things.

Amazing location and even better staff (unfortunately I don’t know names but pretty blond woman and young man in glasses from the reception were incredibly nice and helpful). We were welcomed with a local, delicious wine and answers to our questions about the city. Hotel staff was also so nice to sent a postcard for us as we didn’t find an open post office during the weekend. I was amazed by their kindness and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Skopje :)

Small pool but on the other hand not so many people use it so we had it for our private use :)

The hotel has a great location and the most important thing was the staff was amazing. They were really helpful and has smiley faces. They helped us in every subject. The location of the hotel was great. We visited everywhere by a few minutes walking. The massage guy really professional. If I go there again, definitely my hotel is ready for no sure.

The room was a bit small and still it was really OK. We were unlucky that the swimming pool was closed because of the cleaning. But the spa area was great. The staff was really helpful for the usage.
