A clean and very comfortable holel in the best location in Skopje. 5 mins from central square but in a neighborhood much better, with cute bars and street food as well as shops to find everything you may need. There is no outdoor noise and you feel safe walking around. I actually miss staying there. I had the best time, although I was travelling alone for business. I will definately stay there again!

The location is excellent - only a few minutes walk from the main square on a tree-lined street with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and they were able to arrange an airport transfer for me, which was important as I had to leave at 4 am. The room was spacious and comfortable with a kettle and tea/coffee.

I would have given the property a 10, but for the bathroom. The hairdryer had a tendency to cut out, but the main problem was there was mould around the bath. Some bleach would solve the problem, so it is something they could resolve quickly and easily.

Location was very central. Buffet breakfast was great. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had an early flight out and they offered to make us up breakfast boxes to take with us. We opted not to take them but appreciated the offer. It was my son's birthday on the last day and my plans for a special breakfast fell through (nothing to do with the hotel, the staff were willing to be a party to the surprise). However, they provided a piece of cake with a candle which was lovely. We had an issue with our toilet the first night. It would not stop flushing. The staff immediately tried to fix it (was after 10pm) but when they could not, we were given another room and the problem was deftly fixed the next day. Perfect service and there was no inconvenience for us. My sons made use of the gym which they had to themselves. Be aware it can only accommodate a few people at a time but that was not an issue for us.

Ideal for city centre in a quiet area . The room itself was excellent the staff were great although the lift was broken and my room was only on first floor they insisted on carrying my suitcase up for me . Upon entering the room which was immaculate and a credit to cleaners I was shown how to work everything the room had great aircon as it was very very warm , plenty room to walk around the bed which( although on soft side for me ) gave a great nights sleep there was small fridge with mini bar complimentary bottles of water which were great safety deposit I box and a small desk beside balcony door which was a nice place to sit in the early morning or late evening . The bathroom area was a good size and with complimentary toiletries ideal there is a good size shower and sink in here and plenty clean towels .breakfast is served downstairs next to reception area and has a good choice of warm and cold food to cater for all tastes there is plenty on offer for all a well stocked bar can cater for your tastes in the evening I couldn’t find a fault in this hotel

It was overall a pleasant one night stay I had here. For the price, I wasn't blown away at all. The room was great, bed was fine, bathroom was excellent. Overall good stay. The stairs up from the lobby to 1st floor looked like they'd never been vacuumed or cleaned.

Due to above, I felt like there was very little wow-factor. Outside of the super nice, helpful and welcoming staff, nothing about my stay felt amazing. It wasn't good value for money. It wasn't exceptional breakfast. It wasn't THE BEST location (very good though). I almost made a neutral review, but that'd be unfair. My primary knock on Alexandar II is, that everywhere else I stayed while in Macedonia exceeded my expectations so much, that this felt like a disappointment.

Good location, very friendly staff, nice breakfast, fairly spacious room, and comfortable beds. There was a cabinet between the beds, which provided just the right amount of peace and privacy.

It's worth noting that the balcony is quite a bit higher than the room’s floor level, and there is no step. It takes a bit of effort to get onto the balcony, so it may not be accessible for someone with limited mobility, let alone for someone with significant physical challenges. Otherwise, it was quite nice.

An amazing stay made even better by exceptional staff! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and genuinely cared for — especially appreciated given how much luggage we had. The team went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and accommodated every need with ease and kindness. Breakfast was a standout — elegant, delicious, and definitely worth including.

The only small hiccup was a leaking air-conditioner in one of the rooms, but it didn’t take away from an otherwise wonderful experience

The hotel was well above our expectations. The location is in the heart of the city, we were able to reach everywhere on foot. BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT! Hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful. They helped us with every request, from transportation to restaurant recommendations. Being greeted with a smiling face every time we entered the hotel and the polite attitude of the staff made us feel truly at home. Even though we stayed in March, the room was very hot. We were welcomed into a spotless room, the room toilet and beds were very clean. When we visit Skopje again, this hotel will definitely be our only choice! Thank you so much again for making our stay perfect!

Excellent QPR. Convenient location. Not a big hôtel. Pretty good soundproof. Stayed winter and it was warm in the room. Kettle and safe in the room, breakfast was fine. They even have a small gym area. Reception 24/7. The staff was nice and cooperative.

A bit dated bed linen and bathroom towels. Minor issues with the shower. No iron is available, only via concierge service.

Had a good stay for a total of 4 nights/5 days. Hotel is in good location as its walking distance to places i wanted to go. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was best and staffs were nice. If ever i will come back to Skopje, i will choose and book this hotel again.

Two isolated things but not too bad: 1-live bug on macaroni salad. My friend was about to eat during the breakfast when she notice something moving though the staff was attentive enough and remove the entire salad bowl 2-small cockroach inside the room. Killed it and the next day, we asked the housekeeper/room cleaner to remove it.
