We were travelling by car so, car parking was important for us. The hotel has its own private parking zone for free. The rooms were big enough for two person. The room had an air condition. Breakfast was satisfactory. Since the hotel is located right next to a big park, we had the chance to enjoy a beautiful panorama during the breakfast. It is almost walking distance to the prestigious pubs and restaurants of a typical night life in Skopje. Despite the sweltering hot weather in early August, we didn't suffer much to visit the touristical sightseeing areas on foot as the hotel's location was reasonable.

Mosquitos... looks like this is a general problem in Skopje. It is not about this lovely hotel. Wherever you stay or go in the city during summer, be sure to have a mosquito sprey and some night tablets for mosquitos with you.

The rooms were standard, clean and comfortable. I couldn’t ask for more. The breakfast was a nice selection and was had plenty of options. The location is literally a 5 min walk from the square. However, the highlight, and I cannot stress enough, is how welcoming and lovely the staff are at this hotel! They offered umbrellas when it rained, they booked our taxi to the airport and checked in with us every-time we walked past reception. I’ve never had a hotel treat us like we are in their home. Will 1000% book again with Hotel Kanet. Thank you for the best experience!

The WiFi drops a lot in the evening. There is literally no other negatives

We were visiting for the football, so this was the absolute perfect location as you can see the National Stadium from the hotel and it was just a few minutes walk. The location was beautiful on the edge of a big park, easy to find, and just a short walk to an area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Although it was a fair walk outside of the city centre, it was a simple 25 minute stroll along the river, or a quick bus or taxi ride. The hotel itself was simple, clean, and comfortable. The shower was powerful and beds comfortable. All on one floor, which makes it very accessible. The staff were incredible, there was someone on reception 24 hours and each person we met in the day we were staying was very friendly and helpful. As I checked out, the woman on the desk was great and even though it was the very end of the breakfast service and I felt like I was being cheeky asking to eat, she was so helpful. Put some extra cheeses out for me, told me what was still available and was calm in everything she said. On top of that, she allowed me to stay and work on my laptop in the same area for a couple of hours, despite checking out. I'd certainly stay here again if I visit Skopje.

Amazing stuff that will welcome you and help you with any problem and give you advice about where to go, what to do. Location is in the park, near the zoo. Nature is beautiful. You can find 3 modern clubs in the park. You can reach the center by foot. Many restaurants nearby. Furniture is old but well maintained, it doesn't smell and it is clean. Wall colour could be refreshed but overall good value. There is AC. No fridge in the room but you can ask receptionist to keep something in the fridge on the reception. Great breakfast. Coffee, tea, juice, eggs (fried snd boiled), cheese (2kind), 1 kind of salami, wurstel, cereal, butter, cream cheese, marmalades, honey, fruit jogurt

Cozy small hotel. I worked in the my room at first half of a day and nobody disturbed me. There was a little working table and chair — it was very good. I walked at second half and slept very well. Very friendly staff helped with anything. Perfect location — you can go fast to any place in the city.

Maybe just Wi-Fi wasn’t stable sometimes.

Literally everything, location was great, only 15 min walk to the square, very quiet place just beside the beautiful park. And what’s pleasantly surprised me, National Macedonian Orchestra had their rehearsal last evening… being musician myself, they’ve made my day 🙂. Reception lady was unbelievable helpful.

No such a thing

This was a great option for our budget. We loved the location by the city park and a short walk to the best wine bars in town. The staff and owner were genuinely nice.

Those who need wifi would probably want to ask for a room near the reception. We thought it was quite nice to get offline, though.

Nice cozy environment with friendly staff and good breakfast. Location is beutiful, view from window is straight to city park. Rooms are well heated and the stay is pleasant.

Mattresses are not comfortable and sleeping can be better

This is a lovely hotel for short stays or budget travelers. The location is wonderful, situated in a beautiful park and only 15 minute easy walk along the river to the city centre. The rooms are small but comfortable. Breakfast was basic but plentiful. Outdoor seating area such a beautiful place to enjoy breakfast. The staff here are outstanding and go out of their way to welcome you and make you as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended

Sheets are a little small for the bed . Minor complaint

I visited on a work trip which included being at the Skopje football stadium at times and the fact that the hotel is just 3-4 minutes away was perfect! The park between the two mentioned buildings makes the atmosphere even better, and in spite of all the activity, there was no significant noise pollution heard from the room. The staff was also very helpful and accommodating throughout my trip.

Being there for work purposes, I needed a good internet connection and wifi was a bit weak at times. It did, however, become an excuse for me to go out and work from a cafe instead.
