My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Hunter’s Lodge. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was excellent — with a great selection for both vegetarian and pescetarian diets, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, we missed out on the wine tasting simply because we didn’t book in advance — totally our fault. But it’s definitely something we’d come back for! The room was incredibly spacious, and I have to say — it was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in during my time in Macedonia. The staff were kind enough to let us enjoy breakfast outdoors, even though it’s usually served indoors, which made the morning feel extra special. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot and absolutely worth visiting. We’ll be back!

The hotel's name matches its theme, and the interior is designed entirely like a museum, with visuals of hunting animals on all the walls. The vineyard located just above the hotel creates a beautiful atmosphere for those taking a walk. The hotel staff are constantly active and helpful.The warmth of the housekeeping staff and their detailed cleaning made our stay even better, allowing me to have a wonderful time with my 3-year-old child.

While the hotel offers hundreds of different wine options paired with meat dishes during tastings, adding a pizza-and-wine combination would create an even more enjoyable menu.

The location, the comfortable room, the bed, the l'Occitane en Provence bath gels and shampoos. At breakfast, the coffee was of good quality. At the reception, the employee was very kind and helpful.

In the hotel room, we found a hair in the curtain. In the breakfast room, a hotel employee scolded another hotel employee. Also, when we arrived for breakfast there were many tables with used breakfast plates, the tables had not been cleaned. Finally, there were all kinds of pastry for breakfast but no bread. Nor the possibility to warm up a piece of bread.

Location: It’s not far from the city center, but far enough that you get some peace and quiet. It’s a quick drive to Skopje’s main spots, but the lodge feels like it’s in the middle of nature, which I loved. The surroundings are really calming, perfect if you want to take a breather from the busy day. Rooms: The room I stayed in was spacious, clean, and looks modern. The bed was super comfortable – I slept like a log. Service: The staff? Amazing. Super friendly and always ready to help. They made sure everything was running smoothly, and they’re the kind of people who go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. You can tell they genuinely care about the guests. Food: The restaurant at the hotel is a must-try! If you’re into game meat or just want to try something new, you’re in for a treat. Every meal I had was top-notch, and breakfast had a great selection of fresh options. Extras: There’s more to do than just relax – they’ve got a shooting range if you want to try something different, and their wine is amazing. The outdoor areas are great too if you want to just sit back and enjoy the surroundings.

I would have liked a pool or spa area to completely unwind.

The atmosphere is warm, comfortable and relaxed. Whilst small from the outside, it does not feel like it on the inside. The room was fitted out with modern style and comforts. BUT the best bit was the food and wine... the staff were excellent and the meal including elk steak, locally grown foods and their own wine was the most amazing bit of the short stay.

Leaving! (the facilities available would not match a larger venue, but they did not need it... this place was wonderful) NB this is not a place for those with opinions against hunting. But the clue is in the name!

Beautiful hotel near Skopje, everything was modern, very clean, spacious and beautiful room, quiet. It was only a very short drive to the city. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice, in particular the gentleman at breakfast. Price was fair for the quality of accommodation.

The hotel itself was great. However, we had dinner at the restaurant there and while it was ok, we felt it was quite expensive compared to local prices and the overall food quality- it was good, but nothing special. I had morels which are supposed to be amongst the tastiest mushrooms - the sauce was tasty, but the morels themselves bland - maybe the cooking method should be reconsidered.

A classy place, nicely decorated. I could not really appreciate all they have, as I was only on transit, arrived late afternoon and left early morning next day. The hotel is nicely decorated, very comfortable standard twin-bed room (the one I had), with huge bathroom and all very clean. The breakfast is rich and well presented.

I cannot say there was something I did not like. My stay was very short and by looking around I saw only nice things. I was however surprised by the young lady at the reception desk, the afternoon of my arrival, not capable of finding my name with my reservation on a list of about 10 names and calling the manager for this. Until the manager came, she said she found my reservation and after asking questions how this was possible not to see my name, after also having made a copy of my passport, she kept repeating "I was looking for something else", whatever that meant, as she could not explain it to me.

We liked the food and beverages the most. For breakfast at 7:00 AM, in addition to regular offer, they serve fresh pancakes, gibanitza (cheese pie), pizza, and brownie muffins, all freshly made, straight from the oven. They also offer complimentary glasses of wine for the first dinner. Wines are excellent, this is what Kamnik is famous for. The hotel is recently renovated and fully equipped. Those who do not like game trophies might not like the dining hall, but after all, this hotel is called "The Hunter's Lodge".

The elevator was out of order.

Felt safe, free parking, comfortable, nice looking, vineyard, nature and dog friendly. Food was ok, not overpriced. It's very convenient to have OK food when you're staying for 1 night and in a rush.

The wifi was terrible, not even 1Mbps. In the morning they said it must have been an outage. I checked the speed during checkout and it was faster, around 30 Mbps but I still think that does not count as high speed internet as they claim. I am giving this place a high review nevertheless because I was here for leisure, not business. If I had to work and that was my internet speed I would be very unhappy.

The staff was very helpful and extremely kind. We were checking out earlier for the flight and they even offered us to get breakfast even though the kitchen was not on the opening hours. The hotel's was not so big to explore but the decoration was beautiful.

The previous hand towels that we used on day one were not replaced with the new clean ones on day two.
