I had a truly enjoyable one-night stay at Four Points Sheraton Desaru. The hotel’s location is fantastic—right in the heart of Desaru town, with plenty of shops nearby, and still within easy reach of Desaru beach. The area is lively and vibrant, especially at night. The lobby was welcoming, and my room was spacious, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a fantastic selection of dishes. The staff were kind, attentive, and very helpful, making my short stay all the more pleasant. I look forward to returning for a longer stay.

initially I thought the Buffet Breakfast was lacking variety until I realized Four points breakfast buffet was way better than St Giles. I love the central location to all the spots as I could go to the Mini Zoo, lobster restaurant, Beach and Adventure Park within 10-25 mins drive. There seem to always be a firework at 8pm as well every night. Some good foods and supermarket near by. If you stay near lotus area or hardrock, you have to make a trip out and it cost a bomb. It was a very comfortable stay for such good value.

No major complains except the room soundproofing is not that good. The pool is a bit too small as there are many guest and can be very crowded to enjoy it. Balcony doesn't seem safe as the Railing seems to be loose and shaking. I just told my kids to avoid the balcony to be safe.

Had a wonderful overall experience. The staff were welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent.

As a vegetarian, I found the dining options quite limited. While the buffet and à la carte menu offered a wide variety for non-vegetarians, vegetarian choices were minimal in comparison. It would be great if the hotel could include more vegetarian dishes — ideally at least half the number of options available to non-vegetarians — to ensure guests with dietary preferences or restrictions also feel equally catered to. I believe improving this would enhance the dining experience for many guests. Looking forward to staying again, hopefully with more plant-based choices on the menu!

First and foremost, thank you for the nice and yet simple decorations for our Wedding Anniversary. Me and husband really appreciate it so much! Staffs at the Front desk were very helpful, polite and fast. Exceeded my expectations!! The Guards that open the entrance doors were also SUPERB!! Facilities are all nearby the hotel premises. Rooms are clean and spacious too. My family really had great time there. We will sure come back again. And not forgetting Big THANK YOU to Widya for getting us our room so fast! On our last day, there was a BIG grasshopper in our room!

Had a great stay twice when we are in Desaru! They have improved from wooden card to normal card so it will not get destroyed in the pool. Had such a pleasant stay the 1st round that we went back again on the 2nd time. Security guards are friendly and was really helpful.

Was charged full fee for parking despite validating the touch and go card and paid the daily parking when we check out. Filled up the form for refund but it took ages and still not refunded as it is processed by the parking operator instead of hotel. Would appreciate a more coordinated response and it is not a valid excuse to say unable to expedite as the parking lot is in the hotel. Because of this we may not consider to go back the next time we want to go Desaru.

Very clean premises and smooth checkin. Room was spacious and lots of cabinets to store things. Toilet was clean too. Breakfast had quality food and a good variety of choices. Staff are friendly and also greet the guests, particularly the security staff who open the doors with a warm welcome.

Bed was good but pillows were too soft. Couldn’t sleep well with the pillows. Also, it will be good if the hotel had their spa. There is no spa nearby too. We were referred to go the spas in the resort hotels for massage. We didn’t as it will be another 15 mins drive out.

We like that it’s affordable and high class. It’s value for money! Don’t expect 5 star hotel but the room is modern, clean and good room size with table and sofa. Hot decent water with a comfortable bed with soft linens. You want food, opposite very many options - breakfast and dinner and supper with supermarket. Kids friendly with a playground and children pool

Don’t have a spa massage service. Have to go lotus which is 15 min drive away. The liveband is meh but good enough. if have infinity pool is best but it’s ok to make do without it.

I had a wonderful stay at Four Points by Sheraton Desaru. The hotel was impeccably clean, and the service was prompt and professional throughout our visit. The breakfast spread offered a wide variety of delicious options, catering well to all tastes. My toddler especially enjoyed the pool. The location was also excellent for our needs. While it’s not near Desaru Beach, it was still conveniently located close to the places we wanted to visit, such as D’Laksamana Restaurant and Desaru Seafood Corner. There are also shops, a local market, and a supermarket nearby, which made it very convenient for quick errands and snacks. We were especially grateful for the hotel’s effort in accommodating our request for connecting rooms, making our family stay even more comfortable. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you, Four Points Sheraton Desaru, for a memorable stay!

Great hotel, amazing food on the menu, live music every night, pop-up specials like BBQ Night with whole lamb, and Seafood Grill Night, family rooms were excellent with two Queens and a Wigwam Tent for the little ones. Staff were great. Location is a bit "middle of nowhere" but there is a free shuttle bus, and Grab is pretty accessible too. Try the oxtail soup and braised beef cheeks: WOOF!!! The breakfast was a little "average" compared to the lunch and dinner menu at The Mesh Restaurant.

The hotel breakfast was satisfactory, though not particularly special. It offered a variety of options, including a roti canai station, nasi lemak, and western staples like omelettes and sausages. I recommend arriving before 8:30 AM, as some popular items, like rendang, tend to run out later in the morning.

The food for the morning buffet was relatively lackluster in quality - go out of the hotel and have a great Malaysian breakfast if you can. That being said, I usually do not expect much for hotel breakfasts - it was decent enough to keep the stomach full and get on with our activities for the day.
