I feel like it is a magical resort lost in time. Clearly something dating decades, a very 70’s or 80’s vibe. Liminal space, vaporwave style resort. Has an aura of sad nostalgia to it. A wonderful resort, clearly past its prime but still nice and wholesome. A place where clearly many memories have been made. This was my second stay there and I hope not the last. It is a place that will always have a special place in my heart. Never change.

Power went out in the middle of the night. Water heater in shower stopped working in day 2. Next time put signs up warning of jellyfish season. Those things hurt!!!

Good layout as all rooms facing the sea. The sea facade is good but seems the property need recovery and do back its plants decoration. Many inhouse restaurants but only try the breakfast at Pawana. Many choices for breakfast for remote area like Desaru.

Seems cam do better with activities pricing and seasport. For remote area like Desaru seems people are only coming to stay at hotels or resorts. Desaru Coast also seems overhyped as like unfinished development despite many good name hotels like One&Only, Anantara and Hard Rock but you hardly able to do much here in Desaru as compared to other seaside town on Malaysia which more vibrant. Just tick off Desaru from my list next.

Staffs are friendly and courteous. Rooms are spacious and clean albeit a bit old. Love the seaview rooms, it's really fantastic. Beach is kept clean enough. I was really thankful that the bar did open as there was no other patronage other than me and my family during the evening we were there... Breakfast has a lot of varieties~ I love that this is not a particularly huge hotel that can cater to a large number of people. So we can really enjoy the peacefulness of the nature and the sea.

The bathroom in my room has no hanger at all, a bit of an inconvenience. The washing basin could do with some work to have a deep clean around the ages of the tap etc... The dark rim.. I don't know.. mold? is quite icky.

Location and its accessibility to the beach. Kids were happy

No electricity when we arrived. The trip was for my son birthday celebration. We only able to checked in at 4.45pm. Almost 2 hours from its initial check in time. Well sometimes unfortunate things can happen but i was expecting a better experience handling the matter. While the only option given was we are able to check out at 1pm - as their complementary. Which i think could have done better considering we took the Royal Suite for 2 nights and its low peak season. Sometimes experience handling can WoW customer to come back in future. They miss it big time to cease the moment. Its an old builidng by the way and nothing fancy about the hotel

Breakfast was ok. Food had variety, however the staff did not place cutleries on our tables, and we're kinda loitering around.. haha. But it's a laid back place, so we understand, but wished my kids didn't have to find spoons for their cereals.

Room was very far away from the lobby. Kids had to walk far. Carpark was also scattered. Bcoz we came bfre we knew how to park, else it's all e way at the open carpark which was a distance from the lobby and then the room. Otherwise room was well furnished unlike when i was there 2-3 yrs ago.

I love the location & the beach very much. You can chill by the beach at night too as they put lights on at the chill beach area. I stayed at their garden room at lower ground easier to get to pool and beach. And the toilet for these type of room is clean and well maintained

The breakfast buffet had some decent choices of nasi lemak, mihun, lontong kuah, roti canai, salad pastries. How ever Im sorry to share they were not good 🙏🏻 need to work on those recipes

Its just a min walk to the beach front and the pool. Breakfast buffet was descent. Worth the dollar spent. Rooms were huge, give this chalet like vibe with beautiful landscaping outside the rooms balcony. Pool is descent, P.S. add slides or mini playground within the pool. The kids would love it!

the hotel staffs need to be attentive to rectify minor issues like choke basin (Restaurant) with full of ants. Power trips occured a few times. Overall it is still a decent stay here. P.s. upgrade your facilities like adding slides to your pool. We love the environment there and hope to come back soon.😊

The hotel is very near to the beach. the pool was spacious. The process for check in and check out are smooth. We could get late check out. The new look of the room is nice.

The bathroom. The breakfast spread. the egg station, the egg station need to have few more staff. the egg is uncooked most of the time. the breakfast spread is not really value for money. more lighting needed inside the restaurant. Always get the room at the end. It would be great if the people staying there would not smoke near the pool. or in the room or balcony. There were dogs on the beach and at the vicinity of the hotel.

Very close to the beach. Really love it. Every room facing beach. Can watch sunrise every morning.

Elevator actually need to be inspected by DOSH for safety purpose. Already expired since 2020
