Our stay in Oyo 89896 Sedili Inn Resort was incredibly pleasant following the long, exhausting day it took us to get there with my wife and two young children. We traveled from East Coast Singapore to Woodlands Checkpoint, grabbing a bus across the bridge from the checkpoint, reaching a busy Johor Baru Central which all required a lot of baggage lugging as it’s a bit of a walk from the bus to the shopping mall/taxi ranks. We grabbed a cab to get to Hawk rent-a-car in Johor Tower next to Hilton DoubleTree, and then drove from JB to the Sedili Inn through mostly quiet countryside, arriving around 10 pm at night. Even though we input the address into Waze, it told us we had “arrived at our destination” about 500 metres away on the main road, and in the dark we had no way of finding the Inn, which was actually 300m further up the road down a left turn towards the beach. We found a side road with a small warung and the owner, Sammy, kindly led us to the Inn on his motorbike. We only booked the venue an hour prior and Hamid met us and helped us initially to a smaller room (as the booking had not yet arrived on their computer) but he quickly came and moved us after he checked. Our standalone chalet, which was incredibly affordable, was a basic room with AC and shower, and was quite spacious for the 4 of us. Water was warm and the aircon worked fine. There was a hot and cold water machine in a central location if you wanted to make your own coffee. We slept well and in the morning had breakfast (price not included) in the front reception area which was a simple cooked breakfast but nicely done. The beach fronts on to the property, so the next joyous thing was wandering down with the kids for a swim. The beach is quite pleasant, and the sea is warm and calm, but it does have a bit of tidal detritus washed up.

Only minor issues with furnishings. Shower could have a shelf for stuff. TV needs dorting. Basically well worth the price.

The Place was quite and more to village staying, overall it was nice stay with village life style, although took a long drive from Senai. The staff was friendly and helpful.

To find food, i would suggest to have food catering in the resort itself for easy convenience to tourist rather than travel to find food in outskirt and some food stall was not there as per describe by waze or google map or closed but luckily managed to find food stall after 15 minutes drive from resort.

The place was clean, friendly staff. The sambal nasi lemak was spicy but delicious! Can't help but to wonder if there are swimming pool at the front, would be so perfect to have gathering there

- our toilet don't have hanging rack - the single bed was old, the spring potruding.

It's not the newest resort, but is clean and everything works and it's very close to the beach. Staff are friendly and helpful and willing to make dinner and breakfast for me despite being almost no other guests.

Fresh towel, strong water pressure, cuckoo water filter and iron for ironing clothes outside at the hall. Then the air conditioners were cold and we were sleeping soundly , there were many plug too .👍

Didn't have a place to hang towel in the bathroom, hanger and no tissue paper too.

The facilities, view, beach, price, staff, room for 3 adults was so comfortable. Everything.. Nothing to complaint.. Love it sooo much and will repeat again next time with other family members.

Beautiful sky view at night , stars night with the wind is blowing from the sea. Enjoying sea breeze and delicious meal at Restaurant.

The place is good..friendly staff(receptionist) and easy access to nearest shop..hope resort can add more light at night..

I like this spacious chalet, good chef make delicious lamb chop and roast chicken. Shower low pressure am not fussy.
