All staff are very polite and pleasant. The lobby feels safe and welcoming. The room has essentials like toiletries, slippers and many sockets. Strong WiFi. Good air-con. Great for a short stay and across the road from city square.

Toilet seat had a dried brown stain near the crease (edge of the seat). Some don't mind. But I wiped down the whole toilet seat because I don't want to touch what could be someone else's dried waste matter. Could ensure toilet seat is cleaned better in future. Dust and hair visible on some surfaces. Pillows got abit of old smell. Would otherwise be perfect.

Second time staying at Citrus Hotel because of its convenient location. The stay was made pleasant by friendly staff like Rizky, Bada and Hassan. My two family members and I had to meet two other persons for a rather important discussion at the cafe. However, it was closed as it was after breakfast hours. We spoke to Rizky and not only did he let us have the space we needed, but he also went the extra mile by getting us a cup of water each. It was very thoughtful of him. In fact, he was very courteous right from the start when he collected our payment for breakfast at 7am. What a gem Citrus Hotel has. Hassan was polite and professional as he handled our luggage. Although Bada couldn’t help me with my printing request (as I needed to print 4 screenshots on a page), he directed me to a printing shop just across the street and tried to help me in other ways he could. My family members and I are very pleased with the service provided. We will be staying here every time we come to JB.

As a light sleeper, I couldn’t sleep well the last time due to the lack of soundproofing and the hotel was probably fully booked as it was the December holidays. This time, the hotel was a lot quieter so I could sleep better.

- love d location nearby malls,coffee shop,bazaar karat,eateries & below hotel there’s convenience store to buy drinks snacks etc. - friendly receptionist - good gave 2 card for room so our room will be cold when we enter our room once come back from outside.

- room corridor no smell - corridor aircon in front of lift not working - toilet door got sound when open close - no room slipper - room no NETFLIX but its ok - price per night a bit steep $51sgd(without breakfast) - aircon room not cold enough even do i put 16 degree - no iron & ironing board in room or outside room coridor

The overall trip experience was pleasant. The staff members were friendly, and carried themselves with a professional demeanor. Even during the month of Ramadhan, there was a buffet spread, albeit simple, was sufficient to satisfy any breakfast hunger pangs I had. Though the hotel itself did not have a carpark, there were a few options available in the vicinity of the area, so that was not a problem at all.

My only issue was the air conditioning system. I understand that it is an old unit, but I think my AC just had a personality of its own, deciding when I would receive cold air.

I stayed in 915, club suite. Lovely, clean room, comfy bed. Great that the aircon did not blow directly onto the bed. Loved that the TV (not smart TV) faced the bed, which made it easy to chill and watch TV. Only had some SG channels, Malaysia channels and some Malaysian radio channels. Loved the showerhead, shower stall was spacious and not slippery. Loved the spacious safe that could accommodate a small laptop, and other valuables. Had a cupboard for hanging clothes, 2 small side tables inside the room too which were so useful. Absolutely loved the access to Club lounge (only for club rooms tenants) which has light food and drinks from 11am - 8pm daily. If you don't wanna leave the hotel at all, you can just fill up with the light food and drinks there! Staff we met at all times of the day were friendly, sincere and helpful. Loved the location and it's easy access to City Square Mall, JB Sentral and all the cheap food all around. Make sure to check out the makeshift stalls between the streets too, got some great and cheap food there too!

Fridge dial was unintuitive so it was hard to tell which side was colder / warmer. Seemed like the hotel was stingy with toilet paper. The dirty windows also was a bit of a downer, also cannot open any of the windows. The door access area in my room had a bit of a wet, musty smell, probably cos the windows in room could not open. There was also a 24/7 audible generator sound coming from the window (can only open a small crack) in the toilet.

It's near to the city square, just opposite the uob bank. I love the hotel scents as they smell so fresh, even the room also have the scent. As we booked on the same day and the room suddenly full, the staff upgraded our room. The room was very clean, nice scent and the smart TV have Netflix and youtube channel. Even for a short while, we enjoyed staying there and at night time it's just a walking distance to bazaar karat. For the price itself, I would say it is worth the price paid for the comfort and convenience surrounding

The breakfast is just basic dishes as most hotels are provided but limited choices, but for the price paid, we can't complain much If we want to crossover to the city square building, need to be careful as the cars traffic quite heavy and sometimes the cars moving fast but overall our experience during the stay was great

i just hope theyll improve on roim service. the conplimentary coffee and tea sachets are always good for 1 pax only. we are couple who loves coffee. we still have to ask for additional, and their service took long.same thing happened when we asked for iron, took so long before they responded. This happened to our previous stay as well.I hope they can improve on their speed in accomplishing requests. Apart from this, the rest of our stay was pleasant. The staff at their buffet breakfast, are so friendly and attentive.kudos!

Good location close to mall and pretty walking street and vegetarian restaurants, hindu temple and Chinese temple. Reasonably quiet location considering we’re in the city centre ( one of the windows didn’t close so the prayer calls were very loud) Very friendly staff

Odd layout of bedroom as even though there’s a lot of space it is not well used. Only one sachet of coffee and one sachet of drink even though there were two of us. No bedside table on both sides of bed.

The location of the hotel is next to JB City Square which is an excellent mall for shops and eateries. The family room is good sized and clean. There is a safe and complimentary water and coffee. Room cleaning is very good. The price is also very affordable.

The surrounding area can be cleaner like the side walks but it is located in the older section of JB so it is expected. The hall ways of the hotel can be cleaner and are not airconditioned. There is no drop off area for the front of the hotel, taxi must stop in the middle of the road.

I just finished my night duty when I reached the hotel at around 9am++ was waiting for my husband to reach there too as we are from different locations. When I asked about early checkin, the staff helped me to expedite the checkin process base on bed availability. Distance wise, its near the JB Sentral and moving here and there was quite easy. Not to mention, theres a link bridge just across the hotel but not recommended at night travel to go to the mall infront of the hotel. The room, nicely lit otherwise smoke smells still quite strong. Not sure from previous customer or neighbouring room.. Tho, the stay was worth it. Served it purpose for comfortable night to sleep in..
