Location was good, breakfast was good, except for the fruit selection which was poor.

The hotel insisted that I pay RM20 parking charges for 2 days stay as they said that bcos I booked with you guys that the parking charges were not part of the deal. Your website mentioned free parking so that was not a good thing bcos I never experienced this at other hotels when I booked thru you guys before. Something which travellers hate when these hidden costs suddenly show up when checking in….

I loved everything. I am so glad I booked the club twin room. The service from the moment I checked in to checked out was a fantastic experience. I am so very sorry I did not get the names as I was having too much fun. The room was good, breakfast had a wide variety and tasted good. I would like to personally thank all the staff who were on duty during my stay as everyone had a smile on their face and greeted us. The Indian concierge guy was very friendly and helpful, knowing that my mum is on wheelchair. I didn't get to experience much of the executive lounge but the Sabahguy who was on duty was very friendly and had very good service. All in all, with the proximity to komtar and city square and the great service, I will definitely be back.

Liked the location alot as it is conveniently located opposite Komtar JBCC and within short walking distance to City Square. Facilities in the hotel was more than expected , especially where there is a kid's corner for the kids to relax and watch cartoon with a large screen, a games room where adults and children can play together, even a small drinks corner to welcome guests. The reception where I checked in staff were very polite and patient and spoke easy to understand English. Very good !!! Keep it up!!!

Except the bed was alittle soft to my liking. A firmer bed would have improved the ratings further.

Excellent service from Staff at Amaya Food Gallery (Breakfast), right from the greet staff, to the waiters. Special shout out to 2 amazing staff at the egg station, the malay girl (Intern) who greeted me with a bright and cheerful good morning and ask how is my stay at Amari Hotel. And also the malay gentleman who cook my sunny side up, we chatted a bit and both are indeed warm, polite, cheerful and charasmatic, I reckon you could sign up the malay girl to work with you permanently, and please send my compliments to them, for their amazing energy and happy faces, to me they are the face of Amari. (Breakfast: Dec 1st, 2024). The concierge service as outstanding as well, polite and friendly and helpful.

If your hotel could practise some flexibility on the check in timing, I was willing to bear additional cost to check in earlier to my room but it wasn't allowed. And the front desk promised to call me once my room is available, however I did not received any calls at all. This happen twice during my stay.

Pool access rooms are so convenient for kids and hijabs sister. Rooms are fairly clean and comfortable. I booked connecting rooms level 8 no. 813 (king) and 815 (twin). Breakfast was good. There's kid's play area at lobby, level 6. Pool table, colouring area. Bed was comfy. Pool Access rooms are limited. You won't get if it was last minute. I've booked a month advance.

First day we checked in, bidet spray for twin room 815 was leaking. They got it fixed immediately. Toilet room 813 often unpleasant smell especially the toilet bowl. Overall just need to upkeep the toilets. Other than that no issues. Great stay 2D3N.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good but there could be more varieties Coffee machine needs improvement as it breaks down often Room was clean and comfortable - but more towels need to be in bathrooms Conceirge was good and very helpful Restaurant staff were very friendly and accomodating Food (High Tea & Dinner Menu was good) Location was great as 2 main shopping centers (Komptar and City Square Mall is just next door & Kota Raya 5mins away)

Breafast could have more varieties and coffee machine could be improved Rooms could have more towels and pillows and sheets to be changed daily There was no Ice machine to be found on the 15th floor TV could have cable channels like Netflix Pool and gym could be opened in the evening till 10pm as guests sometimes come back in the evening after shopping and may like to use the gym or pool

Buffet breakfast was wide spread with many varieties as this hotel is buffet breakfast style. Staffs from different department, practice a gd customer service practice. Front desk,Divya she was fast responding and quick in action in settling a problem when my hotel booking w booking.com nt received,an unfortunately the room we book slot is full. She apologizes on behalf of the hotel and free upgraded our room. Then make a screenshot of our booking and settle it within 5mins. Very impressed with her! No wonder heard many gd reviews frm the youtuber regards this hotel. Room and surroundings is clean. Only tries the swimming pool and gym apart frm all the facilities provided. Many places is good for taking pictures and selfies as interior design is well decorated!

Iron board cover is so thin and I can hardly iron my clothes well. Even the metal base of the iron, stick onto the clothes when turning to its minimum heatness. Luckily for me I bring an extra ironless clothes that does nt requires ironing.

The hotel has a cosy and clean environment, creating a comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. The front desk and housekeeping staff were friendly and welcoming, which added to the positive experience. I also appreciated the live band during buffet meals — a nice touch that made dining more enjoyable.

Swimming Pool Feedback: The swimming pool could use some improvements. It does not appear to have a proper heating or filtration system. The water remains cold even in the afternoons, which makes it less enjoyable for swimming. Additionally, there were noticeable small debris and dirt in the pool each time I visited — including during a return stay a few months later — suggesting that the cleaning may not be consistent.

📌The bed was super comfy... (we slept throughout the night) 📌I was delighted to be welcomed by a Birthday Cake by the Hotel in the room #1808...it made my day💋 📌Staffs were Helpful & Friendly 📌Love the vicinity & convenience stores in the premises... (Our favorite chilling out place is just across the street; Lepak Corner which serves Good Food & Good Services so far)

📌However the aircon in the room was not cold enough *even after adjusted to 20 degrees and the shower area was a little moldy 📌Room rates is a little more pricier compared to other nearby hotels though...so might be choosing other alternatives when staying in jb since we only need to use the room to sleep coz most of the time in the day we are out and about....✌️
