had a really good stay at Monocolo. The location is great — within a 10-minute drive to Gaya Street, which made getting around super convenient. The room was a good size — spacious enough to comfortably open two 24-inch suitcases. It was really clean and came with all the essentials: a fridge, hairdryer, and a wall-mounted TV. That said, it was still a pleasant stay overall. Would recommend for the convenience and comfort.

The only downside was the noise. I stayed on the second floor, and the middle part of the room could get a bit noisy when people walked past. The sound insulation wasn’t the best.

Despite the scary looking empty houses next door... love the modern architecture of the building, located slightly uphill. The design of the Quarter was pretty too. Had breakfast during our 2nda day, the food wasn't bad, 15% discount voucher given upon check-in. Love the look of the guest toilet, with Dyson hairdryer (but was out of order). Staff in charge of our check-in and the one on night shift (before we checked out) were really nice to let us arrange for a surprise for my daughter's birthday in the lobby area at midnight (we promised not to be noisy hahaha :D) Postcards and magnets for sale (made locally) were beautiful, i decided to get 2 postcards upon checking out. No shade at the car park but was okay as it was really nearby.

My eldest daughter stayed in a separate room on our 1st night, the shower heater didn't seem to work well in the morning, but not really an issue. She eventually joined us in the bigger room for the rest of our stay :) but you probably should get it checked :)

I emailed the hotel to inform them of my early arrival from Kuala Lumpur and requested to store my luggage until check-in. To my surprise, Ms. Emily greeted me with a warm smile and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. She offered me a refreshing ice peach tea as a welcome drink and was incredibly generous, allowing me to check in early since my room was available. This thoughtful gesture gave me the opportunity to freshen up and relax before heading to Imago Mall. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and convenience, and the Grab service was also easy to use

The staff remembered me by name and would greet me each time I walk past the lobby. I know beds are subjective the different people's preference but the bed here was perfect for me. Drifted off to sleep in no time. The cafe attached also has decent food and realllly good service.

It was generally clean, however, cleaners did miss one of the information cards. Someone's fake eye lashes was still stuck on it. Wall of the bathroom can be scrubbed a little better. I'm generally not bothered by it but I know some people sensitive to it : sound insulation is not that great. People chatting as they walk past the door is very clear. Walls are generally thin. If you choose to stay here and not have a car, be ready to call on taxi/e-hailing service

The cleanliness, spacious and quiet of the hotel. It has a lot of privacy.

I don’t have so far. But it has 2 points: 1. Should notify the guests about the water heater shower should switch on before showering. I had 2 cold showers during the 2 nights stay. I was only being informed the switch need to be turned on while I checked out. 2. The deposit collected with credit card only refund after 14 days is a way of too long to hold. The deposit should be refunded after room check out without any damaged or loss. Mostly the hotels will void it immediately during the check out done. The hotel should take this into account.

Room is spacious. Bed and pillows are very comfy! Hard to find good pillows nowadays at hotels/ airbnbs. Bathroom looks marvellous. Large enough equipped with combined hair/ body shower gel. Tooth brush and paste is provided too. Even got shaving kit which is a bonus! Internet is excellent. There are reviews saying some rooms are noisy due to lack sound proof. But ours is perfect. Had a sound sleep for all of us. Drink water is provided inside room with small fridge and kettle. Easy to get Grab transport. Didn’t get to check their cafe/ eatery place as opens at 9am and when we arrived late evening, we were too full. So maybe next time. Receptionists are friendly bunch. Keep up the good work, ladies! Highly recommended as quite a brand new boutique hotel.

The new hotel. Big and clean room. There are necessary cosmetics in the bathroom, 3 bottle of water, tea and coffee. There is air conditioning and it works quietly. The staff is friendly.

everything is ok. maybe we just didn't like the smell in the room when we moved in. but we opened the window and everything was fine.

We picked this hotel because we landed very late and needed a place to stay for 1 night before being picked up by our driver early in the next morning and go on a trip. It was perfect for a temporary accommodation close to the airport. It's also good if you are on a short business trip. I would not choose this hotel for a longer stay, or for holidays.

It provides all the necessities for travelers, and high value of money. Can easily get a grab to tour around the city.

The cleanliness can be further improved. And for a triple deluxe room, providing more chairs would be helpful. More channels on its tv would be appreciated.
