During my stay - Pros : room was decent with simple minimalist wall deco. and I like it, cleanliness was satisfactory, room size was (really) satisfactory for twin size beds, staff were helpful and attentive. Cons : Quite a distance (2.5km) to major commercial places e.g Centre Point, the Filipino Market unless u dont mind to (brisk)walk for 30 mins to those places.

ONE KEY POINT - Oceania Hotel must consider to upgrade the older TVs onto smart TVs in the rooms. So that customers may have the option to watch their preferred on the go channels e.g Netflix, Astro Go etc. I only had TV3 channel during my stay where the network was also suck and interrupted.

The ROOM is big & comfortable enough for 2 person with our 3 big working and travelling bags. The bathroom is decent size though the wares are a bit old. Generally, Hot water is in good condition, good service & helpful receptionist, room is in clean condition and we did get a good room without disturbance from construction across the road. Waiting time for lift is short and just love the location where easily get grab and fees is only RM5/- to Waterfont Mall, etc ..

The housekeeping didnt wash our cups - been at the counter for 3 days after used. The fridge wasnt cold. The floor trap at shower area wasnt working well, water flow quite slow, small ponding. NO facial towel The water from wash basin, easily spill over and wet whole vanity counter

Room was spacious, well maintained and clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. They gave good recommendations for eateries and suggestions for local tours. Check-in and check-out process was smooth. Travel time to popular places: Tanjung Aru: <25 mins KK waterfront: <15 mins Jesselton ferry point: <15 mins

The staff is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. I got all the help I needed including with the organisation of day trips and booking Grabs. The room was spacious and the hotel in general is suitable for solo travellers.

I would suggest other types of food are added to the breakfast buffet such as wholemeal bread and more types of fruits (mango, pineapple...)

📌Good job!! to the reception that work at the night shift ( 12 September 2023) on the day I check in . I was late check in around 10.50 p.m because of my flight from Kuching was delayed. This is my first time check in here and it's not disappointed me. The receptionist was friendly, the greeting was good and great explanation. I really love the way they guide and treat customer. 📌About the room, super satisfied. So clean, the air conditioner functioning well, hot water and has refrigerator so easier for us. All is good so far and so recommended guys 👍👍❤️. And guest what, I extend my stay till 14 September 2023 because of this great service! 😉 Well done. So so recommended ya. 👏👏 @shirley🌈

The room is big enough, and it overlooks the buildings and some landmarks of the city. The tv, AC are all functioning well, and the breakfast is sufficient although it is not a big selection and just the right amount for the cost of the Oceania hotel accommodation.

Nothing to dislike, the staff are informative, friendly and helpful.

The staffs are friendly, they are attentive and kind enough to provide us with a baby cot free of charge, since we're travelling with a baby. Overall, it was one of our most pleasant stay in Kota Kinabalu.

Finding parking during the working hours in weekday can be quite tough and challenging. That area has one very active meter maid that are ready to saman you if you didn't display your parking coupon.

Strategic location with spacious and clean rooms. Smoking free whole floors. Love the superior king bed my son sleeps well throughout the night.

The flaw is internet speed was too slow , my mobile data was faster. Water easily leaking from shower area to dry area if door not tightly closed. Needs to park in public area as there’s only 2 private parkings provided with first come first serve basis

The staff are friendly and helpful. They help me book tours, arranged transportation and even do online check in for our return flights. This area is nearby for shoppers and have good eating places.

Laundry - not able to provide same day and express delivery also not available. The laundry sheet need to reprint cos it mentioned same day delivery and dry cleaning but not available. You can do your own laundry though cos outside the hotel got self laundry machine😁

The basic necessities were complete, much to my liking. Really liked that there are two pillows for both beds. Loved the mini refrigerator. The staffs are friendly too. No complaints so far, only compliments for my first experience here. Looking forward to repeat this experience.
