Ceylonz Suites is our go-to hotel for stays in Kuala Lumpur. The management has made some changes since our last stay. There is now a café on the 7th floor, which offers buffet breakfast from 7am-10:30am and coffee, lunches etc until 3pm. The breakfast offerings (and available seating) are much better if you get there before 08:30am. After that, it's really busy and they don't have the staff to keep up. We got there for 7am before an early tour, and the food was really tasty with a good range of options including eggs cooked to order, Malaysian nasi lemak, yoghurts, fruit, and cereals. The bedroom and shower room were just as comfortable and clean as we remembered. It was great to have access to the gym, yoga studio, and pocket parks for early morning exercise or relaxing. Drinking cocktails in Boudoirz after a dip in the pool was the perfect romantic evening. We even got a fantastic view of fireworks at the Menara one night.

A full-length mirror in the room would be a really helpful addition. Adding the ability to rent or borrow yoga mats would also be useful, so that you don't need to bring your own or suffer through the pain of doing yoga/pilates on a hard wooden floor.

Early check-in was possible. The room is really spacious. The bed was comfy. Shared areas are really nice. Amazing view from the swimming pool and last floor. The gym is lacking a bit but still a nice touch. Big fridge so you can store food, and even if kitchenware is not really good, you can cook if needed. The location is nice, not too noisy.

The staff is really not nice or even polite. Cleanliness was not really good. When we entered the room, it smelled really bad, like a wet dog/pee. Turned out the smell came from the bathroom and never went away. The kitchen was gross (grease on the cupboards, cutlery was dirty). The hood in the kitchen didn't work, same for the water purifier. We didn't try to cook but some buttons were missing. Cushions smelled really bad, the covers are probably never changed. Sometimes you have to wait a very long time to get an elevator. The shower gel was empty when we arrived.

The hotel is an excellent place to stay. We really enjoyed our room and the extra facilities like the infinity pool, gym, and sky garden. The pricing is quite reasonable compared to other places. We stayed in a twin room, which appeared to have two double beds in the pictures, but don’t be misled—it’s not as spacious as it seems. If you're a couple, I’d recommend opting for the queen bed instead for a more comfortable stay.

The staff here are in serious need of hospitality training. Their attitude was far from welcoming, and the strict 3 PM check-in policy is a major inconvenience. Do not expect any flexibility—they will not allow you in even a minute earlier. Be prepared for long queues in the lobby during check-in. If you have a morning flight into the country, I strongly advise against staying here. Additionally, there is a mandatory 5 RM charge per bag for storage, which you’ll have to pay if you want to explore the city before check-in. Overall, a disappointing experience with the staff.

This was in a great location - I got a quick grab from the KL central station after the airport train to get here. Many sights are within walking distance. The KL tower and eco park is just outside and the petronas towers a half hour walk away. The view from the room is great and there are pocket gardens, a small gym and a pool area on the 37th floor with a great view. It can get reasonably busy with limited sitting areas. Theres a small mini mart on the ground floor. The studio was clean and ample enough space. The air con worked well (there’s a button on the wall) as did the wifi. Overall an affordable and great spot for a short stay in KL. Check in and out was easy. You can leave your bags for 5RM per bag.

A couple of coffee sachets as well as tea would be nice. Also a little extra cutlery / glasses etc other than just 4 mugs and 2 wine glasses would be good. The water filter tap in the room I understand has been broken for a while. Whilst bottles can be brought at the mini mart on the ground floor this isn’t an environmentally friendly option. Surely a station could be set up on the ground floor? Also I think the drain in the shower is likely clogged. A short shower can turn into a swim and can easily flood the bathroom. The wait for the lift can take a while especially around check out time. The pool area is designed with a lot of slippery tiles so be careful.

The location of the place is great in the heart of KL.

There are a lot of unprofessional things 1. The receptionist who talked to us was super strict and rude. I don't know how a receptionist can't deal with customers. . 2. We used to order the housekeeping to clean our room every day, which is unprofessional. . 3. The stove wasn't working at all. . 4. There is no place to dry your clothes.

The property is located at excellent location, the grab taxi point was just by the entrance of the property. The rooms was good, the swimming pool was good.

I stayed for 7 nights and the room was not cleaned on regular basis, My flight was in the evening and I requested for extension of check out time but it was refused. The staff was not cooperative.

The room was large and the beds comfortable. The rooftop pool is great, with a beautiful view. Also the gymroom provides essential workout equipment. The location is convenient, you can walk 15 min and be at Jalan Alor / Masjid Jamek.

The room floor and the shower tiles were a bit damaged. There were small insects crawling in the bathroom.

Great room - Amazing view, spacious, well laid out, good air con, comfy bed (if you like hard). Short walk to all main city highlights, but set back a little so nice and quiet. Check in staff smiley and friendly. Incredible roof top view! Great place for a KL stop over and site seeing!

Only 4 lifts for a huge building so had to wait a while. Only 2 deck chairs by swimming pool so no space to chill there. Bedroom side cushions a bit stained, but fine to just rest your suitcases on. But everything else was great so minor dislikes considering the price and location - highly recommend :)

The place really has everything and is very well located, right in the part of KL where it IS very walkable. The pool was great and the gym and business lounge as well. The facilities were not an afterthought. We loved the gardens and pocket gardens. The couch/windowsill was really fun, and our room had lots of space . In general it was a perfect base of operations if you want to have incredible comfort in your hotel (at a higher level than the price would indicate) and also want to be central to explore KL.

The most inconvenient thing is that they only provide one access card per room, but you need your card to access everything. This makes it almost impossible to split up (think, one person goes to the gym, another goes and gets coffee) because even if 1 person stays in the hotel, they need the card to visit any facilities like the pool and even the elevator. Small things: As others have said, the elevators work really weird and it's always a long wait. The rooftop bar has the worst music. They provide too little toilet paper. It's still a really good value for money though and we really enjoyed our stay.
