Within Central Market location. Walking distance to Independence Square, river side walk, very nice area. Staff are always polite, smiling and helpful.

Hotel gym has only 2 machines on roof top, small pool and swim at own risk. Breakfast buffet is just enough to fill stomach. Don't expect a good spread of local dishes, and there is no refill. The food were not heated up, mostly luke warm to cold. It's better to eat at the nearby food court in Central Market.

- Small room - The light in the bathroom mirror didn't work in the room - In the corner room on the 6th floor, something was constantly making noise, as if a washing machine was working somewhere or something similar

Excellent location. Right by old and small markets as well as various eateries and tourist spots. A little busy and congested area and some homeless people sleep outside by the hotel however I didn't find any problems with that. You can get on with your business as normal day or night. Just be alert to any scammers, we came across one pair in all our trip and can happen to anyone visiting the area I guess. They didn't even seem local, seemed like foreigners. Beware anyone asking strange questions and being over friendly in the street, in any city of the world probably. Staff are polite. Excellent value for money

Water looks a bit cloudy so I preferred to use bottle water even for my tea. I did have the tap water for tea once and used it to wash obviously and didn't have any problems but I'm still suspicious of it. Rooms a little dusty and not very clean though reasonably ok. Considering the price. Lift stopped working on last day so had to use dark stairwell to take bags down. Probably a one off occurrence but still a memorable one.

It didn't bother me but our room was quite noisy, it could be a problem if you are a light sleeper.

Honestly this hotel seems to attract widely differing comments. My personal experience was very positive. This hotel is great value for money when you consider the excellent location next to the market ,the proximity to Chinatown,Merdeka Square and the River of Life, as well as the included breakfast, modern clean stylish rooms with universal plugs, very comfy beds, room safe and fridge, and roof top pool . The hotel is just a short walk to Pasar Seni LRT. Yes the rooms are small, the AC a little slow, some of the towels are past their best but still clean . This is not a 5 star hotel but a great budget option. The staff are lovely. As a solo female I felt very safe.

Nothing. Yes there are a number of homeless people in the area but none close to the hotel when I visited. I felt safe returning at nine pm and heading out very early for a walk. Yes the birds are loud in the morning ( noted on leaving the hotel) and I can see they could be an issue on the 2nd or 3rd floor

Its a really super Boutique hotel. The location could not be better. Absolutely central but very quiet. Very clean and safe! My room was perfect, equipped with everything what you need./small fridge, ketten, coffee, tea, sugar, safety box, free mineral water every day, comfy bed, aircon which worked very well. I loved the big bathroom with its glass wall. The entire staff, especially the reception desk-among them Sofia- was very kind, polite, friendly and helpful. The central market Just in front of the hotel/10 meter/, Petaling street, metro station are 5-8min. Buffet breakfast with continental and Malaysian dishes was ok. The roof pool is a bonus with fantastic wiev of the city. Believe me, its highly recommanded and the price is unbeatable.

The hotel is in what we consider to be a fantastic location, just a short walk from the historical heart of KL. With the Central Market next door and Chinatown at its doorstep, there were innumerable places to eat, drink and shop. Breakfast was very reasonably priced and great value for money - the 'live egg station' was exceptional - we enjoyed omelette or scrambled eggs, as well as freshly made waffles or pancakes, along with fresh fruit, juice and pastries amongst the offerings. We also liked that we could open the bedroom window, although it was quite noisy to here the train go by during the night, but we got used to it. The bed was very comfortable.

Our room (which was on the sixth floor) seemed to be made up quite late in the day, hence on two occasions when we returned after 2.30pm to rest, the room was not made up - hence the bed was not made, nor was water, coffee, tissues, etc, replenished in our room. The room we had (a Superior room) was rather small and, although we managed just fine since we travel with only a medium sized bag each, we would pay more next time to have more space. We'd also have liked to have had a top sheet on the bed instead of just a quilt with quilt cover (doona), as we prefer the option to turn the air con off and open a window.

The location is absolutely perfect. The central market is right across the street. However it’s not noisy at all throughout nighttime, because the market is closed in the evening. The view of the rooftop pool is amazing. The bathroom is spacious. We left very early in the morning on our last day and the staff organised a little breakfast box for takeaway, even though that’s usually not available. Thank you so much for all the effort.

The breakfast could be more sumptuous. And I don’t know what was wrong with the toaster. It always burned the toast no matter how you adjusted the heat. Some more storage place in the bathroom would be helpful, so you don’t have to put your toilet bag on the ground. In general the hotel needs a bit of renovation. At least the walls could be painted freshly. That would already change a lot. When we arrived there were some sticky spots on the table. Please make sure you check any surfaces when cleaning. The look of the hotel, keeping the spirit of the historical Kuala Lumpur but fully renovated and modern inside. The lovely pool on the roof top, great view on KL. The style inside, cosy, warm, quiet, intimate, good rooms. Nice staff, the location, next to Central Market, near LRT Pasar Seni and Masjid Jamek, near Petaling street. Perfect situation

The hotel is unfortunately near a spot where homeless people are constantly staying/waiting/living... My stay was to short....

The staff: doorman/security, reception, housekeeping and maintenance were excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. The location was very convenient.

There were issues with the plumbing and phone. However, as soon as informed, the staff solved these issues. The safety box could not be used and the hairdryer was not working. There's a good selection for breakfast but it needs improvement; many of the dishes which were supposed to be served warm were not, like the rice and noodles. The coffee maker machine did not make good coffee despite the options.
