Great value for money The location is perfect, very close to the subway station, making it convenient to go anywhere. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The accommodation itself is great, offering complete privacy. Both the room and the capsule are well-cooled. The capsules can also be locked, making it very safe. There are also plenty of attractions nearby, all within walking distance.

The bathroom is really hot, and the ventilation needs improvement. The USB ports in the cabin don't work, but there are power outlets, so make sure to bring your own adapter. The bed is quite thin, and the soundproofing is poor—you can hear everything from the top bunk, whether it's a phone call or someone turning over in bed. But these are not major issues.

The location is one of the best things about this place being walking distance of all of the CBDs hottest tourist spots but make no mistake, the facilities and fun factor of this capsule hotel rivals even the ones in Japan. Clean bathrooms, secure lockers, cool lounge and bar. Even has a very easy-to-get-to washing machine room rarely anyone uses. The capsule itself was plenty of space , I even had room to lie down flat with 2 bags with me.

The sound proofing of the capsule was non existent but quality of noise is dependant on your neighbours. You can hear mostly everything from a bump in another capsule to 2am conversations going on outside your capsule.

The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from the nearest train station and is located right where the night market is, as well as several tourist landmarks, so it is extremely convenient. There is a 7-11 convenience store right opposite as well. Check-in was quick and hassle-free, and the staff was professional and polite. The reception area was clean and had couches, chairs and a long table with power extension cords, so you can just hang around and charge your devices while chatting with mates. Water dispenser is available too. The capsule was very clean and comfortable, and spacious enough for one person. I'm 170cm tall and when I sat upright, there was still about 30cm of room above my head. A locker is provided for each capsule, but it is very shallow and cannot really fit any luggage, so you will have to just leave your bags out in the common area outside your capsule, or take it with you into your capsule. Shared bathroom was relatively clean. Towel was provided, and the bathrooms come equipped with shower gel, shampoo and air dryer. All in all, I would say it is good value for money.

The downside is that you can hear and feel your neighbour if he/she moves around in the capsule, and when moving in/out, as the sound-proofing isn't really the best; but it didn't really bother me too much.

It's in the heart of Chinatown. The Pasar Seni LRT Station is half a kilometre away. Moreover, Bukit Bintang and Pavilion are just close by but yes, walking is in the workout.

Climbing up two flights of stairs to reach the premises of Space Hotel. If you have heavy bags and a tiresome trip from travelling, it's very, very unpleasant.

I had such a wonderful stay at Space Capsule in Chinatown, KL, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Grace and Domenic. From the moment I arrived, Grace went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and comfortable. She truly cared about my wellbeing and did everything she could to ensure I had a smooth and stress-free experience. Her kindness and attentiveness meant the world to me, especially after a difficult travel situation. I can’t thank her enough for her patience and support—it genuinely made all the difference. Domenic was also incredibly helpful, professional, and accommodating. The staff here are the heart of the place, and it shows in everything they do. Clean, cosy, and run by people who care—I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting KL. Thank you again, Grace and Domenic. You made my stay unforgettable!

Brilliant experience

The staff didn’t speak English and was rude several times to me, even one time splashing water at me in the toilet, and laughing amongst themselves.

Excellent Location and Great Value! I had a wonderful stay at this hotel, primarily due to its unbeatable location right in the heart of Chinatown. It's a vibrant area where everything is within walking distance—from the famous Central Market, River of Life, and even the historic Jamek Mosque (Masjid Jamek). Getting around is incredibly easy with both the bus and metro stations nearby. For those interested in culture and heritage, the National Mosque and the Islamic Arts Museum are just a short walk away. I also enjoyed exploring KCLG, which added a modern contrast to the traditional charm of the area. The surroundings are full of energy, and you’ll never run out of places to explore. Whether you're here for sightseeing, food, or cultural experiences, this hotel places you in the perfect spot. Highly recommended for anyone wanting convenience, culture, and a true taste of Kuala Lumpur's heart!

Everything is perfect and supportive.

The location was great, right next to Chinatown and Petaling Street Market. The theme of the hostel was really nice as well, with a welcoming lobby and terrace and very private pods with locks on the door. You could set the air conditioning in the pod yourself, and a lot of settings for the lights. They also provided lockers for personal stuff. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The staff was nice and welcoming. Keep in mind that they need a cash deposit (in my case, I got everything back without issues). Excellent value for money, one of the best hostels I stayed at.

The best dorm I ever stayed!! Believe me. It's so clean and so comfortable staying inside the capsule. Each capsule has own air conditioning. Bathrooms are separate women and men. They provide hair shampoo and shower gel in each bathroom. So convenience. The pantry outside was so chill and nice. Also complimentary tea we can do it ourself as many times we want. FOC. Strategic location. All staffs are friendly and helpful. Feel like staying inside your own hometown in the Space Ship Camp!! Haha

Quite difficult for people who carry huge/heavy/many luggages as the reception entrance is at level 1. From the hotel's door, need to climb quite long stairs to get into the lifts to the level 1.

I liked how the staff were friendly immediately you check in and the privacy of the accommodation because it's enclosed pods. The place was really clean which I liked and not forgetting the space theme that made Mr book in the first place. I enjoyed chatting with others in the lounge area as well where you can relax and have beverage which is free. The location is good as it's in China town where you can shop alot and try different food and not far from the city center. Highly recommend it.

Not necessarily dislike, but since it's a shared space, just be prepared to exercise patience as there's different kinds of people eg some may be loud etc.
