The room is big and well equipped, the bed is comfy, the location is bang into Chinatown with big windows over Petaling Street which has its pros and its cons. The wifi is good.

My main complain is that the bathroom in my room was right against the bathroom in the other room, with a ventilation pipe that basically made that you can hear anything happening in the bathrooms from the other room, or if they didn't close the door to their bathrooms, you could even hear entire conversations or them snoring at night. The sound proofing with Petaling street is also not great. The shower doesn't get very hot, lukewarm at best.

I recently stayed at this hotel on Pintaling Street in Chinatown, and I had an outstanding experience. The property is comfortable, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A special shoutout to Matthew, who greeted me personally at the reception and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. He also provided valuable information about the area and places I could visit. All the staff were lovely, especially Atif. The room was clean and exactly as I expected. Additionally, the hotel is close to many tourist attractions, including Merdeka 118, and it's just a five-minute walk from Pasar Seni Metro Station. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Chinatown.

There’s nothing I can point out that I didn’t like; my experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

Sunny and Adam were terrific. Sunny provided necessary help and was courteous to meet me up when I was searching for the hotel. He later on offered me to move into a better room because the initial one was without windows. It then became a comfortable experience. Adam provided me insightful info on Malaysia and its people, and was a good person to hang around with in general.

A room without windows. Please before booking a place make sure you have a room with windows and good AC. Also much preferrably to live on second/third floors

Except the noise coming from the street, which is totally normal due to thin walls & windows with no isolation, it was quite pleasant. Staff was helpful, they have responded to all of our needs. I can’t think of a better location for exploring the city, especially the China Town, Central Market and surrounding landmarks. It was close to the train station which helped us cut our expenses by a good amount. We would recommend for couples and single travellers with no high expectations but who looks for a price/performance stay.

A good-sized room in a great location. This place exceeded my expectations as I had read some reviews that were just average. However, Sunny and Rahamed on the reception told me that the hotel had recently been taken over and they were making improvements on the place. If you book Swings and Pillows on Petaling Street, be aware that there is another Swings and Pillows about 9km away in an area called Petaling. Yes, I went there first ;-( Also, as you come up Petaling Street you might first see a neon sign that says Swings and Pillows. I entered the building and found no reception. I went upstairs, downstairs and nobody. This was some co-living space and the actual hotel entrance is another 25 metres up the road.

The hotel is located in the heart of Chinatown The room was as advertised, and quite cheap WiFi was pretty good, and the staff was very welcoming

The floor in the room was a bit sticky The location is quite noisy, even at night, and the windows do a poor job keeping the sounds out I did not understand the room service schedule - it seems you have to ask for it in advance So I did not have a cleaning in 10 days

Staffs of this hotel is very helpful, friendly and polite to serve the customers. We would like to thanks the Mr. Sunny help us to take the heavy luggage and his serve was great! Location is very amazing to me and nearby the food stalls and restaurants. It's just a few minutes walk to the Pasar Seni LRT station. The room and toilet also super clean to us. Pricing was attractive and reasonable if you want to travel at KL. Highly recommend to guys for this hotel.

Lift cannot function if you stay at 3rd floor.

Did not like Chinatown one bit ..too dirty and smelly ...and very intimidating...did not feel safe at all ...did not see any police patrolling the area not one .....and the hawkers on the streets have a bad attitude...they show no respect what so ever ...the whole street needs shutting down and revamping.....start again ...........one unhappy toursit who won't be going back ........take good care if you ever go to Chniatown...

I expected better quality based on the pictures. It is in the neighbourhood Chinatown which is very dirty. It is located right in the middle of the market which I didnt realize before. I found a cockroach in the elevator and a couple of rats close to the market in the evening. I would not look for accomodation in the area again.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times now, and every time has been great. The highlight of this hotel for us was the staff service. Especially Sunny, who went above and beyond for us, to organise our stay. Highly professional and welcoming service. Thank you Sunny!!
