Breakfast was great and a good variety. Rooms were very spacious and the bed was nice. The beach is a very nice place and the pools are great. The evening fire show was nice to watch. The staff in general was all very helpful and friendly.

The lack of parking ( why do we have to park outside in a unsecured place ) as it was vacation if you moved your car after 2 pm you would return to zero secured parking and have to stop outside. The Spa ( now running separately from the hotel ) has lost the plot again. Before my daughter and wife told go together all of a sudden they don’t allow kids. Outside showers have very poor water pressure / water. Ice cream sales very inconsistent when it comes to timing And that just made them loose money. In room dining has very little options and is VERY over priced. The steak served in the downstairs restaurant is really not a “good “ experience. It’s edible but by far not up to standard.

The room is clean. What makes it different was the guy who works in the buffet breakfast treated us with free nice teh tarik after we queried on this menu which was not part of the menus. It was not just on a single occasion, the following day also being treated free despite we intend to pay for it.

Strict enforcement needs to be applied for customers who have enjoyed at the beach to ensure there is no sand being transferred to the pool. Kids pool needs to be vacuumed on daily basis as full of sand though in early morning around 9-10am. The swimming pool must have an exposed drainage surrounded it to allow the swimmers to spill outside the pool. Understand the renovation on the lobby or foyer is in the progress, this must be completed ASAP as everyone complains to climb up the staircase. Not friendly for elderly or OKU.

The room and bathroom is very clean. And I love the smell of the shower gel. The furniture layout and the color of the finish with the combination of the curtains, it makes the room bright and cheerful. we truly appreciate the hotel provides the muslim guests with prayer mat. very thoughtful.

the lobby entrance is under Contruction during our visit. we feel abit disappointed as was not mentioned prior our booking. It somehow upset us during arriving, as we expected for nice, beautiful lobby to greet us. so, it creates inconveniences during our arrival as we have use back/staff entrance upon our arrival. Though there are bell-boy whose helps us with the luggage. And we have to take quiet steep staircase each time to leave/coming the hotel.

- Plenty of parking space upon arrival. - Friendly staff who helped with luggage and sent it directly to the lobby. - Although the main lobby was under renovation, the temporary lobby was spacious, breezy, and comfortable. - The renovation did not affect our stay, aside from having to use the stairs. - Spacious room with a personalized welcome message on the TV screen. - Fantastic pool. - Beach was okay for a relaxing swim as it was shallow during the afternoon/evening - Great breakfast selections (only for food) - Overall, a great stay with good hospitality. - We will gladly return and 100% recommend this resort to others.

I recently stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and was pleasantly surprised—spacious, cozy, and truly worth every ringgit. The beach and pool area were impressively clean, making it a perfect spot to relax and unwind. What really stood out was the newly decorated restaurant—it has a sleek modern Japanese vibe, and dining there with the stunning South China Sea as a backdrop was simply delightful. Although the lobby is still under renovation, it didn’t affect my stay at all. The staff were incredibly helpful, even assisting us with our luggage, and the spacious parking area made things so convenient. Location-wise, it’s a gem—just a short drive from some great local eateries. I was torn between staying here or another famous hotel somewhere near Teluk Cempedak, but I’m glad I chose this place. For the value, comfort, and experience, it was hands down the better choice.

The lobby is currently undergoing renovation until August (according to the friendly staff), but honestly, it didn’t bother me at all—everything else during my stay was absolutely superb.

Generally the room is clean, the staff is superb. Nonetheless the guests who come with kids made noises especially during late evening which make it frustrating. But I would say Swiss garden itself including the staff are very helpful especially the front desk. They even provided me a plastic chair that I requested which ease my sis to move into the bathroom

The guests with kids- perhaps Swiss can impose a rule in such a way to educate the guests and the kids not to make noises during night time. Kids are overly excited and made noises by running around and shouting at the corridor which is quite irritating

We ate roti canai and nasi lemak just at some nearby stall just a walking distance away from the front entrance, it was great. My kids enjoy playing at the pools, we are having a great moment at the private Berserah Beach compound, building sand castle, enjoying the splashing wave of the sea, night time there is a fire show which is the best and only show for half an hour started at 830pm on the beach. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Night time we choose to go out to pampered ourselves with local seafood.. PAK SU seafood restaurant (6mins drive from the hotel). their crab paste in a crab shell is a MUST TRY item which are really delicious and special with affordable price (around RM20 per piece , we order 4 pieces for 5 of us). total bill about RM200++ with 1kg of steam fresh Crab, 4 pieces of Crab paste, rice, tasty lala soup, big grouper fish, 3 huge coconuts drinks..

Unfortunately when we check in, the reception told me that my breakfast for 3 days 2 night wasn't included, unable to enjoy those nice hotel breakfast. ATV are available with some fees(is not comfortable for us coz is too noisy and the smell of the machine are really breaking the enjoyable environment). we are not staying in sea view room area. coz we booked it last minute, our room are facing car park area with some major construction going on in front of the the main entrance lobby (seems like going to complete in 1-2 months from now, luckily after 9pm all construction stop and no more noise going on).

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel! The room was spotless, everything felt brand new, and the stunning sea view made our stay even more memorable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience that exceeded our expectations.

On our first morning, we were surprised to find a queue for breakfast. It wasn’t a major issue, but it was a bit unexpected considering how well everything else was managed. Later we found out that some things were under renovation, which explained the temporary inconvenience.

Despite the ongoing construction at the lobby, which is the heart of the hotel, I appreciated the courtesy of being informed in advance at the time of booking. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. After a long drive, the refreshing face towel given at check-in was a thoughtful touch. Throughout our stay, the staff continued to check in on us, asking for feedback and offering further assistance, which made us feel well taken care of. The beach and pool area were lovely, with fun slides that the kids really enjoyed. The playroom was impressive — it featured a mini theater and plenty of toys and books to keep the little ones occupied. Overall, it was a great family-friendly stay with wonderful service despite the renovation works.

One area for improvement would be assistance during rainy weather. It would be helpful to have someone on standby at the parking area to assist guests getting to their cars while it’s raining, especially for families with children or elderly guests.

My recent stay was truly memorable, made even better by a complimentary upgrade from the Premier Room to the Executive Suite. The suite offered a fantastic view and was both spacious and comfortable — a lovely surprise that set the tone for the rest of my trip. One moment that truly touched me happened during breakfast. While there was a long queue at the egg station, the chef noticed an elderly guest waiting patiently. With great respect and care, the chef kindly invited the senior guest to skip the line and personally assisted with the order. It was a thoughtful gesture that speaks volumes about the hotel's values and staff training. Kudos to the chef for the excellent food and even better heart. Small actions like this make a big difference.
