This resort at one time must have been very popular, but it appears it now has a hard time attracting customers. Since it's such a big place, it probably has a hard time keeping up the infrastructure, with more limited guests. The reviews are mixed on this site, but I really enjoyed the trails. I didn't take advantage of the water park, but it seems like a nice place for families with kids.

There was a lot of water on the bathroom floor. Also when I checked in they said breakfast was at 8, but when I went to dinner, they said breakfast would start at 8:30 - so o had to skip it as I wanted to leave around 8.

Borneo Tropical Rainforest Resort is nature resort located in the tropical rainforest. the resort has a fantastic view of the rainforest, many varieties of trees plants and birds, the resort is located apx. 40 minutes drive from Miri. There are nature and jungle hikes and trails around the resort, 2 hanging bridges, a beautiful walk that goes to the waterfall (less than 1 km), a large waterpark with large swimming-pool, lake, many options for other sport activities, etc. The resort employees are very nice and helpful. The resort provided a free 1 h trailer and boat ride with fish feeding- the activity I enjoyed the most. I had a wonderful time connecting with nature, and I highly recommend spending 1-2 nights here. There are endless activities for adults and kids as well.

Some areas require maintenance and repair.

The place is good, i enjoyed much with our family, the kids loves the slides very much. But the water and some of the area need a little bit of maintenance. Overall, its good stay. Dine in are also available, food are well cooked. Very recommended for a nature lover. Quiet and peaceful. Maybe need to add up more lightings around, especially the cabin which is quite far to the centre.. Keep up the good works.. All staff are very helpful and friendly.

Nothing much from me.. A fair stay i guess.. Improve on the maintenance of facilities.

This resort is in a remote location surrounded by beautiful rainforest. Anyone looking for a serene and private holiday will enjoy this resort. The staff was immensely helpful and kind. The food was prepared on the spot with our preferences taken into account. Not only did we get delicious local food and fresh fruits, but the meals were always huge.

Staff here doing their job well serving the guests around. Activities available are quite fun to do especially the tour. Room was cozy and soothing forest view from our balcony.. Food are decent in taste but could be improved more.

My room was not provided with minibar.. Not expected the water pressure quite slow but maybe understandable cuz this place located in a higher place. The road access after the main entrance are quite rocky. Less animal to watch not like before. Some parts and locations of this resort look interesting and fun mybe a few years ago but nowadays seems like missing and not available.

Atmosphere, food (Except Tea time menu), surrounding, activity, staff kindness

Need more lights on night, cleanliness, more new souvenirs in souvenir shop, need water pipe in cubicle, need guide at corridor to waterfall, Tea time menu need upgrade (oily cucur Pisang)

Room is big. Peacefull in the middle of the jungle.

Hot water sometimes overheat Sliding Door lock broken Icebox look like not functioning. Maybe need to do some repair in the room.

This time I wasn’t like the first night dinner. The food were not enough for us and the campers. The bitter gourds and fried golden fish was horrible. I saw one Malay’s family took four eggs with rice only. By the way , there isn’t any fruit too. All took by the campers . None of the workers filled up for us after the campers left

Beautiful pool in the jungle, to cool down at the end of the day. It is close to the Lambir Hills (10 min) and Niah (1 hr) National Parks.

The facilities are good. The room is spacious. The staff is helpful.

Can see dust on the cup tray. The food is not really good and can be improve.
