The hotel is in a very central location to the main shopping area and the beach at the back of the property. The room offered a pleasant vista and appeared to be in good condition. The cleanliness was also notable, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. It gave the impression of recent upgrades, enhancing its overall appeal. Ultimately, it provided a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

We explored the grounds and were disappointed with the current state of the outdoor space. Renovations are necessary to enhance the appeal of the pool area. The reception staff could do with further training, as they are not very welcoming to their guests on arrival and lacked co-ordination with their team when we, as guests made a request for extra pillows.

Staffs should be trained to explain that guests must put the parking ticket if the car is parked at the road side. Staffs at the counter also should be well trained and alert of any problem faced by the guests. Don't treat this as a complain. Just to help your resort to do extraordinary. Thanks

Easy access to beach and activities. We booked 2 rooms that ended up in different buildings but it worked out as my kids are older. Kids were right at the beach. We were in a nice Hotel room. Breakfast was included. Rooms were spacious. There was a laundrette near by to wash wet clothes. They were generous in changing towels Which was good as they got wet. Beach was beautiful and Fun and not noisy. great value for money

Nothing major to complain about ...We paid a very reasonable amount So you Cant expect 5 star when booking less Than that...but overall I Cant complain as the deal was good and we had such a great stay in LK ...loved being at the beach...early morning walk, breakfast was decent and convenient...

Our room was right next to the beach and very close to the pool too. The pool was great for kids with seats (not sunbeds) around the outside. It's also right in the middle of Pantai Cenang so lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Our room was ideal for our family of four and the AC and hot water worked perfectly. Surroundings were very quiet despite being beachside. We really liked that there was an option to have breakfast for a very reasonable price and it starts at 6am for those who are early risers or have an early flight. Staff were friendly and accommodating. This place is such good value and we plan to stay again!

In need of a bit of TLC but upgrading work seemed to be happening. It's understandable after covid that places need time to gather funds to invest in the property. The road is busy and slow at times. We arrived in the evening and we were stuck in traffic for quite a while. Walking along that final stretch would've been faster but we had a sleeping child so had to wait it out.

I stayed at Malibest Resort for a short beach getaway and honestly, it was such a nice experience. The location is amazing — right on the beach, and just a few steps from the sand. I booked the family room and loved how spacious and clean it was. Everything you need is within walking distance, food stalls, convenience stores, even some duty-free shops. The staff were friendly and check-in was smooth and hassle-free. Wi-Fi worked surprisingly well throughout my stay, and honestly, the breakfast was better than expected! It was simple but tasty, and just enough to start the day off right without needing to rush out looking for food. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. If you’re looking for a chill, beachfront spot in Pantai Cenang that’s affordable, comfortable, and well-located, this is definitely a good pick.

There were two things that really affected the experience. First, the aircond in the room wasn’t working well — it was running but not cold at all, which made the room quite uncomfortable, especially at night. Second, parking was a real struggle. The area around the hotel gets super packed, and it took me a long time to find a proper spot. If you’re driving, definitely be prepared for the parking hassle. Would’ve been a much better stay if those two things were improved.

A lovely beach resort that I was happy to return to for the second time! The rooms are clean, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The beach is absolutely beautiful, with plenty of fun sports activities to enjoy. There’s also a nice outdoor swimming pool, perfect for relaxing. Just outside the hotel, there’s a street with great shops and restaurants, and two nearby supermarkets are open 24 hours, which is super convenient. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. One useful tip: if you're heading to the airport and need to leave before 7am make sure to arrange a taxi the day before, as ride-hailing apps don’t work for early bookings before that time. I love this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, primarily for its fantastic beachfront location. It’s right on the beach, which allowed us to use the outdoor area to its fullest. The breakfast had a good selection, and it was delightful to enjoy it while watching the waves. The room was a good size, although a bit dated. However, considering the price, it’s a complete bargain. The hotel’s location on the main strip also means that everything is conveniently close by. Despite all these positives, I don’t think I could stay for more than a couple of nights. Quick check in and check out. We paid a deposit which was swiftly returned on check out.

A gecko greeted us in our room, so sealing the door would likely prevent this issue. Additionally, the pathway to the beach could use better paving.
