The room, the facilities, the owner and the staff of the hotel are very friendly, all was good except the manager of the hotel, he is impolite and rude.

The manager of the property is very impolite and rude with all the guests. If you ask for something he always says NO or respond rudely. We did the check out to move to another hotel and it was raining very hard, I asked him to lend me an umbrella to go to my new hotel and then I returned it. He said no, the umbrellas are only for guests, so I had to move to my new hotel walking under the rain

Nice and clean room offered. Reception area is very good with koi pond and other seating arrangements. Staff is helpful and friendly.(Rony was very helpful with my requirements)

Food menu needs to be improved. At least breakfast should be buffet. Food menu is little expensive as compared to similar places on the island

The dining area was located in the outside area towards the beach. We took the full board package for our stay and we were so blessed. Every morning we received a different fresh juice along with Coffee,Tea & Water. The breakfast was always delicious. One rainy day, they even brought breakfast up to our room! For Lunch & Dinner, they provided us with menus to choose from. As soon as we sat down, within minutes our food was served. The staff were always so friendly and loved to have a chat with us. They also had the most adorable kitten, Lily who came to play with us. Mamaadi was so accommodating to us, we arrived a day early due to travel complications, yet they still arranged a transfer for us and made a different room available. They also gave us great deals on various packages for activities and for snorkeling.

The TV and the wifi in our room wasn't working. The wifi in the lobby area was super fast though.

Everyone at Maamadi’s was amazing. We felt well looked after by Jameel and his team and the food was amazing! Speedboat transfer from Male was arranged with the hotel and all went very smoothly. We were welcomed with a delicious juice after getting of the boat and we had as much water, tea and coffee in our room as we needed. There’s also water on offer at the bar area too. We really enjoyed the location and the walk it gave us to the bikini beaches, meant we got to see much more of the island more often. The fish in the reception area an extremely nice touch! We met some incredibly friendly people on Maafushi and that all started at Maamadi. Thank you for a great stay; we had the most wonderful time!

I recently stayed at Maamadi Boutique and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The location is ideal—close to key attractions yet tucked away just enough to offer a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming. Staff were extremely courteous, professional, and always willing to assist with a smile. Although our keys were given for room cleaning and when arrived back in the hotel the room was not cleaned, when we asked about it the staff was offended and was rude. Apart from this one incident everything went smooth. The room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The only reason I’m giving 4.5 instead of 5 stars is that the Wi-Fi connection was a bit inconsistent in the room, although it worked fine in common areas.

Although I booked a small single room with no sea view, I found it to be more than satisfactory. The bed was very comfortable and the room was modern, clean and tidy. The bathroom was in excellent condition. I didn't find any water in the shower, but didn't really need it. Downstairs there is a good open lounge area for relaxing plus a small attached cafe, which I didn't try. The property is just a 5 minute walk from the ferry terminal and there are shops and restaurants all around.

Although the property is at the opposite end to the island to the main bikini beach and where the majority of restaurants and activities are based, the island is so small that the short walk really isn't an issue.

Really great time at Maamadi! Thanks guys! Definitely recommend! Directly next door to our favourite restaurant on the island too which was perfect!! The room was clean, comfy, all you need really!! The staff were great, I had already checked out & then my fiance arrived back from scuba diving & they allowed us back into the room so he could shower even though it was past checkout time! Really thankful for that!

We had an amazing 8night stay at the hotel. The staff was super friendly, helpful and respectful. We felt very welcomed. We booked full board, we could order a la carte, the menu was big and everything was very delicious. There is nothing we can mention, what wasn't good. Thank you very much Jameel and the Maamadi team!! ❤️

The staff is very friendly and super helpful. They made me feel very welcomed. I asked if they could organize a transport from Male, it was last minute request and they had no problem doing that. When I arrived in Maafushi port they picked me up and took me to the hotel even though it was only a few min walk, which was very nice.

The staff and owner are very friendly and hospitable! The room is nice and clean, ac working perfectly. Shower runs hot water. Water is included which is really nice. We also had breakfast included in the price. They also lend beach towels if needed. You pay one price for your stay + green tax, and all the basic needs are included, and more..! Which means no worries are needed about unexpected bills in the end. If we come back to Maafushi again, we will definitely go here.
