We loved Taj Exotica Resort & Spa! Location was great, not far from Male Airport, about 25 minutes by private speedboat. This resort is definitely worth your money. We received a very great and warm welcome upon arrival. They made Check-in easy, and our room was at the edge of the beautiful ocean. It is a quiet snorkeling Island with lots of coral. This Island is perfect to celebrate a wedding or to have your honeymoon. The staff provided lots of useful information about the Maldives Islands. Housekeeping checked the room daily, if we needed any extras, we requested this to Mr. Aalif, he and his great team did a great job. The room was spotless every. He made sure that we had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, smoothies, pastries and many variations, something for everyone (even lactose free). The dinner in the restaurant was extremely delicious, good taste and you really finished your plate. The kitchen staff (Head Chef and his great team) were fantastic! Mr. Aalif and his team were taking care of us. We had a Birthday, and they surprised us with a nice dessert and a beautiful cake in the room, even on our bed was decorated with “Happy Birthday” written with Bamboo leaves. Incredibly beautiful and surprising. The swimming pool was very clean and was next to the sea, the view was fantastic! The most impeccable part of our stay was the entire staff's hospitality, which was A1 and made our stay a very memorable happening. We highly recommend this hotel with their most respected teams of operations. Upon departure you are waved goodbye with sadness with a Banner "We will miss you" a feeling to come back.

We had the best-ever family holiday in Taj Exotica. The best check-in experience where we were taken direct from boat to our villa. The ocean villa itself was breathtakingly amazing. We had fruit, chocolates and drinks waiting for us in the room. My kids had absolutely nothing to complain about which is the highest level of praise in our family. The food was amazing with a large menu. The island itself is beautiful with a perfect mix of sandy white beaches and a massive lagoon around it. We had very choppy boat rides both in and out of the resort and it was raining for half of the stay but we still had the time of our lives. We also had a stay at a different resort right before coming to Taj where I am a Platinum member but the experience at Taj made our previous stay feel ordinary. Based on our stay in 2 other resorts, I would recommend Taj Exotica to anyone visiting Maldives for the first time. It provides the complete package and the full Maldives experience. Both beach villas and ocean villas are nice but if you have to pick one, go with an ocean villa. I had doubts about spending so much money on one holiday and many others will do too. However, the cost and the logistics are totally worth it. If you are in doubt or considering other cheaper options, my advice is to stop your search and go ahead with Taj. Every staff member was super-friendly. Special thanks to Aika, Nadeem, Haneef and the lady (unable to recall her name) who checked us in for making this a memorable experience. Without a doubt, this was the best resort experience and I highly recommend it. Worth every penny!

I enjoyed the resort specially the villa it was exactly what i was looking for! The resort assign a butler for you as soon as you arrive. In my case his name was Mohammed. Together we planned everything with me from first to last day from activities to restaurants booking. After planning he left us to enjoy our villa. I enjoyed the pool ALOT like it was the best attraction in my case. I went for scuba diving. I went down to 1200 m below the sea it was heaven within the deep. The island restaurants were amazing!!! I took a private cooking class to cook the traditional dish with chief (Ashish Kumar). The dish was fish curry and seasoned rice. he was professional and very nice and the dish was delicious!! When it was time to checkout, my flight was 6 hours away from my check-out time, the resort extended my check-out time by 4 hours and it was complimentary. I totally recommend Taj Exotica.

The only drawback to this trip was mid-high prices of activities and foods

Fantastic place. You would love every day there, staff are very friendly and hospitable. Choose beach front villas. Never miss the snorkeling activities there.

We had an unforgettable stay at Taj Exotica Maldives! Special thanks to Pratha, our amazing butler, for making all our wishes come true. Adam and the pool staff were fantastic, and we even got to see sharks! Despite the rough weather, the captains were incredibly experienced and made us feel safe during the 15-minute boat ride from the airport. Overall, an incredible experience in paradise. Highly recommended!

While the food was good, we felt it was quite expensive for the quality and the quantity.

This was our 2nd time to visit Taj Exotica Resort and Spa. It was just as unforgettable and amazing as the first one, if not better. The personal touches from all of the staff were incredible and highly appreciated. You really feel special and cared for. I'm amazed at how pleasant, helpful, and sweet everyone is. I was very happy to see our butler Pratha again, she is just an amazing human being and wanted to make sure that we had the best time and experience. She anticipated our needs, remembered our personal preferences, and was very flexible with our sudden plan changes throughout the day. Pratha is probably the biggest factor in why we chose to come back to Taj Exotica instead of another resort in the Maldives. Mainuddin in housekeeping kept our beach villa exceptionally clean and added lovely decorations that we really cherished. Ashish taught us how to cook a Maldivian fish curry, which was so incredibly tasty. Our therapists at the spa had magic hands! Truly the most relaxing massages ever and their hospitality was so appreciated. Shout out to Corinna the general manager who makes sure everything runs smoothly and that the guests are happy with the overall atmosphere of the resort. You literally don't want to leave, ever!!! We are already planning a 3rd visit!!

This hotel deserves more than 10/10, it is a great example how happy employees perform best! We simply loved the staff (receiption, housekeeping, lifeguards, waiters, gardners, managers, watersports, transportation ...etc), the attitude, warmness, helpfulness, service and their willingness and their care towards the guests. I can easily say I never experienced such service and attitude level before. Some names to mention are Riyaz, Salah, Nadeem, Elena, Melvin and many more (sadly I cannot remember all). The island is outstanding and clean, the sand, the trees, the vibe and lights...etc. We tried over 60% of the items on the menu, food was excellent and restaurant service is great and chilled. Rooms are big, clean and SERVICED TWICE A DAY ... This hotel simply sets new industry standards!

Due to low tide snorkling experience could have been better. Low tide makes it a bit hard to snorkle above the corals to see more marine life but we still saw baby sharks, stingrays, bemo and dori and much more.
