The accommodation is easy to find & is easily accessible via the R3 bus from the airport. It takes around 25 mins to walk there from the ferry port or is a short taxi ride. There are restaurants & shops nearby. The capsules are quite spacious, clean & comfortable. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and was helpful in arranging onward travel for me at the last minute.

The guys working at this place are friendly and the Wi-Fi is good too. It’s a good place for Male standards too. It’s close to everything but then again nothing is far in Male. Two supermarkets and a bakery very close by.

So not book this accommodation for your first night in Male. Immigration at the airport will ask you where you are staying and as this place is not on the list of approved accommodation by their tourist board, they will ask you to book another hotel before they let you into the country. This happened to me and cost me 80 USD (the next cheapest thing I could find) - I got around it by only booking one night in that place and then moving to this one but as they are not approved, don’t make the same mistake as I did. They do not make a point of telling you this properly - you only get a rather confusing email after booking go say that this pal d is a ‘stopover’ and not a hotel. This messaging needs to be much clearer. The mattress is thin but that wasn’t a big issue

- Mattress was too thin. - Not an official stay you've to tell the immigration officer you're staying somewhere else. I had no issues with that but so many people didn't arrange another place with the owner and got in trouble.

I was surprised how comfortable the capsule are. The place is ideal for an inexpensive way to have a nap, some privacy for a few hours or want to spend a night in Male between two flights. Nap corner is quiet despite being very close to one of the main roads. What surprised me most was the friendliness of staff. I had issues finding a taxi to the airport at 3 in the morning and staff did everything possible to help me. Thank you so much, I made it just on time to catch my flight! <3

As mentioned in the description Nap Corner is not a hotel and is not meant for a longer stay. Therefor, there are no common areas where you can stay outside your capsule to eat something. This makes might be problematic if it‘s heavily raining outside and everything is closed due to Ramadan.

Very important: this accommodation is good only for 1-2 nights. This is not a hotel or guesthouse. For the immigration service of Maldives you will need to indicate the guesthouse or a hotel, where you will be staying. Because if for example you stay in Maldives less than 24 hours, they will consider it as a transit and will not let you go out of the airport.

1 Staff and Owner are all kind and approachable. The owner pick me up from the airport ferry and guide me on where to take the airport bus. They have also mentioned prior to my booking that this accommodation is only good for transit before the flight and not for long stay. 2 Location- It is in the city and just few minutes walk to bus terminal and around 15-20mins to airport ferry. There are also mall and grocery stores nearby 3 Comfortable for 1-2nights sleep. It is also quite and I slept comfortably 4. There are also toiletries available in the toilets and shower area.

Considering the price - this is comfortable for 1-2nights stay before my flight . No complaints.

The pods are great. The pod had a nice firm mattress and very good lighting options. Best of all, the ventilation and air conditing inside the pod were perfect resulting in a perfect sleep. The two bathrooms were clean enough considering that they have an open shower which tends to self clean. Surprisingly, I had 3 showers in one night. Luckily, the hotel was at 60% capacity in high season (fyi, all male guests) which was good concerning quiteness and bathroom usage. There is an ironing table. The hotel is reachable from the other end of Male through a 20min walk. The shift manager is onsite all the time which is good for extra security. Overall, it is great value-for-money and comfy stay for 1 or 2 days exploring Male.

The entrance to the building can be improved to be more welcoming. Would be best to informing guests to keep it quite as possible all time (e.g., setting cellphones silent and using headphones rather than speakers). Alo, new guests can be checked-in outside the pods room to reduce noise. In any case, I would recommend couple of ear plugs for extra quitness.

Good location, near public beach and bus station to air port. 10 enclosed beds (cubicles) with 2 shared bathrooms.

Not registered (airport immigration insisted that i have to book a different stay for the day) Its a bit expensive for a dorm bed

beware that when you arrive at the airport in a bad way, immigration will not let you through with this reservation! you will be kicked back or you will have to book at another hotel on their list

My first ever pod hotel and I actually really liked it. I very much like all the lighting options and dimmers in the pod. The privacy was nice too. Towel provided. Body wash provided in shower and toilet paper kept stocked. Bed was quite comfy. Mirror, shelves, USB port, hangers, safe. It's got everything you need. Staff helped me get a taxi to the airport and carried one of my bags downstairs for me. Shoes off policy keeps it cleaner inside.

The entrance hallway and stairwell needs tidying up to be a bit nicer to walk through (photo attached). No windows in the building, so not ideal for staying more than a night or two.
