First of all I must mention the three ladies from the Philippines, who in turns took care of the reception: Juju, Nadine and Ira, alle very friendly and professional. Check-in was easy and I was given a room on the 5th floor. The room was okay and had all I needed. A/C and WiFi worked well, the bathroom was fine too. Enjoyable was the Maldivian dinner I had here: Noodles with Valhomas, that typical cured tuna from the islands, not found everywhere. I also had a fresh watermelon juice and a Falooda dessert drink.

Cars cannot drive all the way to the hotel, so I had to pull the suitcase through a narrow lane foll of motorbikes from the main street. On the way out I was helped by a porter. It was the only hotel on my trip, where water bottles were not offered for free in the room. Contrary to the menu card a Maldivian breakfast was not available, but at least I had the opportunity to try a good Maldivian dinner at the hotel's Café De Grand, where a friendly Bangladeshi man was in charge.

1. Super friendly woman named Nima. She helped me with a transfer, showed how to get to the jetty and answer all the questions really quickly. The man who met me at the airport, Adam, was also very helpful and kind. 2. The room is very good. It's quiet, cosy and completely new. I slept really well after my 16 hours flight. And the king size bed is a real king size bed and not two small beds together. 3. The bathroom is simply great. Everything is clean and in a good condition. 4. It was just 10 minutes by walk from the hotel to the jetty 1, so location is also good.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They comped our pickup transfer from the airport because the guy who was supposed to pick us up was late. Each unit actually has a shared kitchenette you could use if you wanted to prepare something there. The space isn't huge but everything seems new and well-maintained. The beds and linen were also very comfortable.

Your cab won't be able to drop you off directly in front of the hotel because the street is small with bikes parked both sides. But that goes for almost everywhere in Male.

Modern hotel, a real gem placed in shabby street, with at least 5 levels with modern, shiny clean elevator. Room with modern equipment, with small but spotless clean bathroom with separed shower box. Middle hard bed. Ironing facilities available in the lobby for free. Nice check-in, seamless check-out, all with lot of smiles. Approx. 25 min stroll from the jetty no. 5. Better take cheap taxi from the airport or jetty, it is hard to find . First, google maps match not with the actual position, second do not confuse with similar named hotel nearby. I can recommend it.

We only missed tea/coffee facilities.

The room was in good condition, good size bed, decent size bathroom, but nice and clean. Air conditioner was working fine. Breakfast was OK, not very diverse, but you can choose from one of the sandwiches or pancakes, to be prepared for you.

Was very hot in the bathroom, because the AC units are on a small space , on the wall with the room and the bathroom. Next door was some construction going on from early in the morning until late evenings.

Great helpful staff. Small cafe onsite served a nice breakfast - thanks to Ranga who was helpful and attentive and oh so very nice. Front desk staff were very helpful as well. Rooms were very clean. Laundry service was available free of charge which was a wonderful perk (they washed and returned clothes to be dried - which was easily done in less than 12 hours). Shuttle service to and from the airport. Nice place to stay if you have to be in Male. We would definitely stay here again.

Nothing wrong with the property

The food was delicious (compliments to the chef), and the staff was courteous, precise in planning, and helpful. The room was clean, with pretty much everything we needed. Good place for overnight stays, and perhaps a few days in Male. Free Wi-Fi is available, also, we saw the ironing board, so in case your clothes need ironing, it seems possible.

Windows were blurred, not much light in the room. Also, when entering from the street, we entered via stairs with a large piece of luggage. This kind of entrance could be a bit challenging for many. However, their staff helped in this situation as well, and taking into consideration that this was an overnight stay, we didn't mind the lack of windows so much, so I would recommend this place.

We stayed at Tourist Inn Grand one night before and after our trip to a local island and it was the best choice we could have made. The staff is extraordinarily kind and made our stay go very smoothly. The room was nice, very clean, and offered a very comfortable bed. The area around the hotel is quite busy (as is all of Malé), however, it is located in a quiet alley with many restaurants and cafés nearby. We would definitely recommend staying there and we hope we can come again ourselves :-)

The location was very convenient--right in the middle of Male, so going anywhere was convenient. The employees were all very polite and patient when I was having issues with my card. The room was clean and comfortable as well. It was overall a great experience.

There was nothing I could improve about my experience. It was wonderful overall.

We spent one night here in between our transfer to the resort and it was lovely! The staff couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. They prepared breakfast and dinner for us and helped with transfers to and from the airport. A great place to stay if you have a night in Male!

Our room didn't have much of a window and was a bit noisy from the street.
