We got upgraded from “Tourist Inn” to “Tourist Inn Grand” which is their sister hotel down the street so it was a pleasant surprise. Nadine was fabulous throughout the booking and check-in process. She ensured all questions were answered via WhatsApp as well and very patient and helpful when we asked for tips and directions. The room was very clean with new facilities, all working and was comfortable. The location was central to most things around Male with a lot of convenient stores nearby. Male is a small island anyway so you can walk anywhere. The breakfast and chef was lovely and they have their own cafe downstairs. I absolutely cannot fault the staff who made our stay so enjoyable even though it was only 1 night.

Would have preferred a room with a bigger window but it’s no biggie as we were mostly not in our room.

The staff very polite and helpfull. Even before my arrival, they text me to arrange my transport. They are non stop with smiling to us and greet us when we pass by the counter. They are from Phillipines, Bangladesh, Indonesia and India. I love all of them. The breakfast also good. They allowed us to choose the menu. Got Continental breakfast or Maldivian breakfast. I go to Maldivian one and the taste are very delicious and come in big portions. The room also clean. Also got washing machine to wash our clothes (not sure all room are provide or not). They provide you a basic stuff such mineral water and coffee. Also got snack in minibar to buy. You can refer to the price board.

My friends and I enjoyed our one-night stay at Tourist Inn—it provided all the essentials we were looking for. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist. They allowed us to check in early at no extra charge, and one of us had a late check-out, which the property kindly accommodated. We had our meals in a shared kitchen area just outside our rooms. While there is no on-site restaurant, the staff can order food from a nearby place and set up a table in the common area, which was perfect for us. They also arranged our transfer to the airport in a comfortable, air-conditioned van, making our departure smooth and comfortable.

Our only suggestion would be to replace single-use plastic bottles with a more sustainable alternative, such as water dispensers or refillable stations. Other than that, everything was perfect :)

Malé is a busy town and any space is in high demand. As family, we could not find better place to stay overnight. We booked two double rooms, but basically we were accommodated in an apartment with two separate bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, and rather spacious hall with a table and chairs as well as with a kitchen. It was quite at night, perhaps as it's not on any main street. Many restaurants and shops in walking distance, very nice and welcoming staff. Breakfast served in the room. Definitely recommended.

Nothing really. As it is not on the road that would be passable for cars, you have to get a taxi on the main road which is some 50 to 100 metres away, but that's not really an issue.

The service was fantastic. I felt very looked after when it came to scheduling my breakfast each morning, and they even allowed me to leave my bag for a few hours since I had an evening flight. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a great size!

I understand paying the environmental tax, but I didn't understand that if I was paying in the local currency instead of USD, it was at 30% more than the bank rate (19 MVR = $1, instead of 15 MVR = $1), when every other establishment I came across was more aligned with the bank/established rate.

Unexpectedly fantastic. The staff were next level to help - I messaged to get help finding a taxi as it's my first time in Maldives and they were there in minutes to help me. The room is clean and might have the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Beautiful shared kitchen area too should you want to prepare anything. They were so kind as to hold my large luggage too so that I could take a smaller backpack to the islands. The value for money and hospitality is incredible.

Friendly staff; very good breakfast; clean though room a bit small; excellent shower; Centrally located, within walking distance to major attractions such as shopping areas, Grand and Old Friday Mosque and National Museum.

Your receptionist, Nissa, went the extra mile in delivering exceptional service. For example, she assisted me in booking an Avas Ride, ensuring I got the right driver, and even took the time to explain various points of interest around Malé. Similarly, Yaakob was very friendly and also went above and beyond by picking me up from the location where the taxi driver had dropped me off upon my arrival. He then guided me to the correct hotel after I mistakenly went to a different property under the same brand. Overall, I would rate your staff 5 stars plus a diamond.

All are great.

We were given a room in Tourist Inn Grand, which is newer and the room was pretty, white, small, yet comfortable. We also enjoyed the Maldivian breakfast, Mas Huni. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful! They helped us a lot when we came back from Maafushi 5 days after we stayed in the hotel, they met us at the jetty and picked our bags to the hotel, so we could explore Malé comfortably, and also arranged a transfer to the airport for 20$.

No view from the windows and the location was pretty far from city center, but fortunately Malé is compact and it took us about 15 minutes to go from jetty to the hotel.

This property is one of the best properties I ever stayed in, not only because of the cleanness and beauty of the room, But most importantly( beside the perfect room) because I met THE BEST STAFF EVER and I mean it, because I have traveled to 30 countries till now I did not see a kinder or more help loving staff than this, I cannot thank them enough to make our holiday perfect, Especially Mr. Nawaz the owner and Miss Purnima and Miss Junelle who literally worked for hours everyday to make arrangements and reservations so that we would visit different Islands everyday of our stay, I have also to mention Mr. Ranga who made perfect breakfasts for us everyday and always greeted us with his wonderful smile and hospitality, I also have to mention Mr. Musharraf the driver who helped us all the week and he becomes your friend with the first ride, I also have to mention the very kind Mr Yakub and his beautiful smile, and ofcourse Mr. Alam who made sure our room was always clean, Thank you very much for all of you, I am very grateful knowing you, hope we meet again.
